Pizza House in County Durham

Utterly disgusting do not order from here. We ordered £60 worth of kebabs and kids meals. The kebabs not only came with no salad so basically a pile of meat but it was dry and the worst Iv ever tasted. Chips tasted like they where stale and from the day before. 3 small lumps of chicken in a mixed shish. Never had such a bad takeaway.

The pizza was OK. The delivery driver had little English and couldn't understand his SatNav. When he left he failed to close the gate properly. It was closed and latched when he opened it but it seems closing it properly is beyond his IQ. My dog could have got out on the road and been killed. I called to complain and whosoever answered the phone was completely uninterested and made it very obvious that I was , at best, an unwarranted intrusion. Need I say more? We really don't these people.......

We absolutely love Pizza House. They deliver to us at Hinderwell and we are always really happy with the quality and taste of our pizzas. We would never go back to dominos or any other chain after discovering Pizza House. We honestly think it is the best pizza place in the north east!

Staying in the village and thought we'd enjoy a takeout. Previous couples had left good reviews. We were first of all astounded at the portion size! Could have shared! So much doner meat and chicken with the combo wrap and kebab. Mushrooms absolutely lovely. Chips mega! Such an extensive menu we were spoilt for choice. Will use again when revisiting. Driver friendly, nice manners.

Stayed in area for a few days so used on a couple of occasions. Had mixed kebab (shared) then pizza on next visit. Both tasty. First visit we went in and ordered/collected, minimal wait time. Second time placed order and paid online. Could have got it delivered but as almost next door to the pub it was a good excuse to have a pint and collect in person!!! Would use again if ever staying in the area.

Had a takeaway pizza from Pizza House whilst staying in Easington. Very nice pizza and good value too.

We are staying in the village for the week and thought we would try the pizzas but were slightly concerned by previous reviews. We needn’t have been. We tried 3 different pizzas and they were all delicious. Generous toppings, delicious flavours, quick service and excellent value. We would definitely have them again if we were in the area again.

The Pizza House takeaway does lovely food. The staff are also friendly. If you want a takeaway this is definitely the place to order from. The food was hot and tasted gorgeous! Which is why I'm giving the Pizza House a 5 star review.

Good selection off pizza parmo burgers etc all at a good price fast delivery service enjoyed the food on this occasion but had a few bad ones so it's hit and miss

Rang in an order for delivery, was told would be 40 minutes ... Arrived an hour and a half later ... And was stone cold ... Rang to complain and asked for my money back, within 2 minutes of them leaving to be told they would drop it back next time they were found .... Sorry to say once over this place was good now I will give it a very wide berth

Absolutely terrible took 2 hours to come and the my kebab wasnt cooked I will be going somewhere else from now on 😒😒😕😕

Surly, miserable staff, food not brilliant either 😣. Each time I visit I hope for better, each time I am disappointed, don't think I'll bother again!

Had a family take away whilst staying in the village. Was a tasty meal which everyone enjoyed. Pizza bases were home made and the chilli sauce was sublime. Definitely go back!

The Pizzas here are great and there is an extensive menu. They deliver at least once a term to the local Youth Club who rate them very highly! Good value for money as well

dry kebab and salty garlic sauce! strange young girl chatting to pervy counter assistant who looked at me as though as had asked for a dog burger when asking for a small kebab wrap!
