Had a fantastic experience at Pizza Express on Ecclesall Road! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Jake, the manager, was especially great—super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. You can tell he really cares about both the customers and the team. Will definitely be coming back!

I have gluten allergies and this restaurant was great with this. I had a lovely pizza and my mum had a salad. All the staff were fab! Especially Reece he was so friendly and aware of my allergies!

Visited today with my partner. Incredible customer service and food. Both Mark and Paul went above and beyond with their service. Really friendly, warm and informative. The food was amazing but it was the customer service that made it special. Definetly will come again! Hopefully Mark and Paul get recognition for what they bring to this Pizza Express. Couldn’t be happier!

I recently went with some of my friends, and it was a very pleasant experience for us all, we had a great time, and the food also matched our mood, which was great. Our server, Amy, was very nice and chatty to the whole table, which really brought up the mood. I would very likely consider coming here again.

The staff were very friendly, and the food was excellent. I especially liked the lime sorbet and the leggera pizza padana

Al igual que todos los demás restaurantes de esta cadena, las pizzas se han vuelto caras, las coberturas escasas y las ofertas menos comunes. Lo que más nos gusta de este restaurante en particular es su personal. Son muy amables, serviciales y eficientes. Jamie (en español Hymie) es probablemente el más adorable. Tanto a mi esposa como a mí nos gusta el ambiente, el servicio y la comida. Últimamente, el precio de algunos artículos ha aumentado significativamente, lo que es decepcionante

Wouod not recommended, the pasta was extremely average for the price they charge (I could have made better at home) , never mind the 6£ cost for a small bottle of peroni . It then also took us ages to pay even after receiving the bill . The only reason it gets a 2 star is due to the dough balls being nice even though still overpriced. Will not be returning tho , even though one of the staff members was very friendly !

We had a family meal today, if I've read the receipt correctly, we were served by Reece. Very friendly and nice chap, patient with the dynamics of different folk in our group and an all round asset to the restaurant. Food was good, standard PIzza Express which is nice as you know what you're getting. It was super busy due to some issue with their booking system but the staff were working like troopers and making sure the guests weren't affected. No complaints other than the fact that I didn't spot the 'optional' service charge for parties of over 7 adults but that's on me so I ended up tipping twice.

Lovely and great for kids gave us colors and little exercise sheets. They loved it.

It does the job for a picnic! Friendly staff with quick services. All a bit pricey though.

I'm not really a pizza person but was celebrating grandaughters birthday. The guy who served us was so helpful and jovial and when he brought her surprise birthday cake through he actually sang to her. He was great and actually made the atmosphere better.

forgot the hummus and the Cawston press drink. not great. but justeat did refund.

It's been years since I last visited a Pizza Express! This one is great! We were warmly welcomed by happy staff. They were patient as we took some time poring over the menu. The food was fresh and tasty. They provided a few options for nonalcoholic drinks, which was most appreciated. Busy area, and it was tricky to find a parking space. No disabled bays nearby. Accessible toilet provided on the ground floor in good condition. Would return. Recommended. The only distraction was the constant traffic sounds from the busy street outside. You could take a bus to and from here!

I love their classy approach and fast service, and the pizza is prepared in front of you. Their pizza is 10/10 and their prices are the same as the restaurant in Britain 🇬🇧

The food was sloppy, undercooked. it was greasy and I had to throw it in the bin. really awful.

I’ve been waiting nearly two hours. Pizza Express aren’t answering the phone. The irate driver who seemed to have my food in the car at 1910 clarified my postcode as I had indeed given the wrong one. The correct postcode is a 7 min drive from the other one- maximum. Please arrange a refund. This is ridiculous.

Driver was at the wrong address has to wait down stairs leaving a baby asleep in bed as driver refused to come to my door and when he did eventually find the right address no apology given

Whilst you pay more for pizza express it is worth every penny. Good quality fresh ingredients, not too overbearing and it doesn’t make you feel like a glutinous pig afterwards. Win win.

Nice but pricey considering all the pizza options available close by. £6 for 7 doughalls and £3.95 for a fanta seemed excessive

Lovely evening as always. My son booked a family meal for myself and my husband, my son and two grandsons aged 10. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, drinks and the service from our lovely waiter. Thank you again for making our evening so enjoyable.

Amazing food and wonderful service

Whilst it was quiet, it was very early for lunch. Lauryn was her usual, pleasant efficient and helpful self (yes I know her quite well) that aside PE on ecclesall Road is such a warm and welcoming place to go, even if you only fancy a cake, which is my particular penchant. Thankyou for always making me feel 'at home'. Xxx

Been a while since we were here at Pizza Express Ecclesall Road, appears to have had some redecorating done and it was lovely and even more special with Christmas around the corner. Booking was very easily done online. Our waiter was top notch, attentive and anticipated our needs and very friendly and cheerful. Food excellent, tasty and came out quickly. Was surprised at the size of the desserts (Christmas dough balls) as could feed two of us rather than one. An excellent night

The order kept being pushed back and it was obvious the food was made when it first went through. Completely inedible. The pizza was cold and so chewy. The chips were cold and disgusting. Complete waste of money

We had joint kids party on Saturday, it was fantastic from start to end, very welcoming and kids were taught amazing cooking skills. Highly recommend for kids parties here! Thank you

Order didn't arrive. Called restaurant. They said it was showing as delivered on their system but it had not been collected. Poor service

Very disappointed with the 4 pizzas we ordered hardly any toppings at all and poor base , really expensive for quality of pizza. We have eaten at Pizza Express before and the takeaway pizzas bear no resemblance to the restaurant pizzas.

The order took nearly 2 hours to arrive, it was cold and the dips we were given had spilled and were inedible.

2 hours late. Cheese on pizzas requested without (allergy) Everything cold Garlic butter melted, lids off and spit everywhere- stained carpets in picking up bags on arrival. Extra beg on pepperoni pizza not requested and Pitt off eating Other double pepperoni pizza has less topping than single. Absolutely awful food. Terrible service.

Staff are lovely and welcoming and always check on you. Great food and are great with allergies. Tables are really spaced out.

Enjoyable meal out at pizza express with the family. It was unexpectedly busy with large groups but fantastic service from Lauryn!! Really impressed with how personable, friendly, and how lovely she was with us on such a busy evening. She wasn’t trying she was just very good at her job and was aware of her customers and it makes such a difference to your evening. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Made a mistake and got a free pizza

Our orders were mixed up by the driver/restuarant when the driver delivered we did not accept the delivery as it was not our order, I contacted Pizza Express and they told me they were aware of the issue and I need to raise it on the app and I would get a refund, we then placed the order a second time and received the delivery however Uber Eats will not refund us on the first order as we did not take an image even though we did not accept the order, to say the least I am really disappointed in how this has been handled as I had in good faith played a second time with fact that it was communicated I would get a refund on the 1st order.

My initial delivery time was set at 12:40-1pm. My food didn't arrive until 1:45pm.

Through Uber Eats just bought the garlic prawn pizza which was quite pricey as wasn't in any of the offers. It had almost no prawns or cheese on it. Also the Calamari came with a sauce pot with 3mm deep sauce in it, What a rip off for £30.

The worst pizza express I've ever been to. Incable of cooking food that's edible. 3 times they've sent food either undercooked or missing items. There is an absence of any quality control and nobody ever answers the phone or returns messages. It's astounding that they have any customers left. ...oh, what a surprise, the same generic reply from the general manager, who appears to lack any sincerity in their reply! Just a suggestion, instead of spending time copying and pasting the same identical response to poor feedback, why not answer the phone when people call and ask to speak to a manager, or even reply to one of my many messages left both with your colleagues and on your answering machine?! Even better, why not actually manage your staff and introduce some sort of quality control to your restaurant! Good grief!

Ecclesall Road PizzaExpress is a great place. The food in general & the pizzas are fantastic. The best things about PizzaExpress is the warm welcome and the service we get from the staff. Paul, Jamie & Jake are so helpful and friendly. Thank you to PizzaExpress.

I mean its Pizza Express so don't expect fireworks but they are absolutely consistent and sometimes it's just what you want. Go for American Hot with extra jalapeños. It's a mix of chillis and they gave us the option of changing all the chillis to Jalapeños but I declined! We had a delightful waitress who was ensuring that we had a good time, food was delicious but 17.50 for a pizza is starting to push it a bit...

Pizza is always amazing, but twice now was delivered just warm, so I had to put it in the oven for a few minutes.But, once hot, it is tasty as always:-)

Not bad, but could be better. Accessibility around the restaurant is not brilliant, tables are too cramped together. Staff are okay but a little overbearing, service is slower than I'd like. Took ages to recieve our bill.

Great service, quick and delicious food!

Sent dairy version when ordered a vegan/dairy free dish. Restaurant refused to send replacement. Not helpful or safe from an allergy point of view. Really disappointed as the restaurant service is usually good. Person on the phone wanted to help but states it is just eat that doesn't allow for replacements to be sent.

I ordered a gluten free vegan meal for my daughter and she’s had a severe reaction. Pizza express say I need to contact yourselves for a refund. The pizza must have had some ordinary cheese and she can’t have gluten or dairy.
