Great service from a really enthusiastic member of staff. The food was good as usual, if not spectacular. It was very quiet when we visited.

Great time in Caterham PizzaExpress, friendly service and good food. Good place to take the kids over half term, they love it.

Pizza Express always a favourite. A little pricey as a chain but always clean and efficient, with reliable quality food. Staff here are very helpful. My 5 year old grandson's favourite restaurant. So keep up the good work. You'll have him for a few decades more.

What an excellent place to have a dinner out with your family! The atmosphere is super friendly and the staff are very polite and joyful. Special thank you to a fabulous manager Olivia, who looked after us very well.

The worst delivery we have ever had! The dough balls were not balls, instead swirls of uncooked bread. The chicken was not cooked! There was no chicken on the pizza. Terrible! I would like a full refund

awful place. Feels like you have no space as the workers are constantly running around you, food was mid, and they forcefully charge an expensive service fee even though the service was horrendous. the guy serving us had no hygiene and you could smell him from multiple metred away. When he served out food he had his armpits right in our faces and it was the worse thing I had ever smelled. Awful place do not recommend

Very Disappointed with the service the staff is very unwelcomeing and unhelpful They did not make me or my child feel very comfortable. A waiter smashed a glass and it scattered all over me and my 5 year old food they did not come do anything about it. When I asked if I could have a new plate of food ( glass in my food and my 5 year olds)They made me feel like I was hastling them. They did not clean up the glass properly and when geting home I then notice my daughter was bleeding due to the smashed glass. I have call to Complain about this but no one picks up or calls you back.

Disgusting restaurant and I will never order from them! Today I ordered a pizza from Deliveroo in Pizza Express. I received completely overcooked pizza and burned out which obviously can’t be eaten because it’s hard like a stone! Unfortunately Deliveroo customer service didn’t want to help me even I send a pictures to them and Pizza Express didn’t want to take a responsibility for this what order I have been received for the money which I payed. I just came back from Spain and never ever had this experience in my life there!!! Here always problem with food and restaurants! Thank you for nobody taking responsibility for my burned out pizza which I received! Just twenty pounds in the bin and I thought I will have a fresh pizza for what I payed!

receipt says order collected at 17.58, by just eat, arrived to me at 18.34. I was watching the order updates during the wait and the app still showed it being prepped at 18.15, so not quite sure what's going on. have a pizza and starter l can't eat, l asked delivery driver to touch pizza, he confirmed temp, said he'd collected just over 10 mins ago, which matches the app info.

Had a lovely meal, Our server was David I believe, very lovely and funny, very welcoming too. We had starters and as we had finished less than a few minutes later our food was out. Great service for a Saturday night. Was a mix of calm and busy in the restaurant. Had great drinks and food, the presentation was also great. The service made my experience very good 🥰 will be returning and very reasonably priced and offer great vouchers

Lovely evening for my sister-in-laws birthday. Our server David was very friendly and gave very good service to our large group. He even brought the cake out and sang happy birthday!

A friend of mine and I arrived at the end of the evening, and despite the fact that the kitchen was close to finishing for the day, the manager Faruk let us order our dinner. He and his colleague were also very friendly and the pizzas were excellent

The place was clean and the staff were friendly but, the food took ages. It was over an hour from us being seated to us getting food served. They must have been understaffed as they did seem stressed. My caesar salad was underwhelming. Even more so for nearly £15.

Food turned up cold and your customer service is rubbish. I want a full refund.

Pizza express is the perfect place for a family meal. We went for my son’s birthday and David looked after us. He was excellent, worked so hard to make everything perfect for our large group with a very friendly manner and dished up a lovely personalised birthday dessert. He really made it a special outing for my son’s birthday. Thank you!

I dined here yesterday and was amazed by the warm welcome given by the staff, service was brilliant extremely accommodating to me and my family, Livvy the manager at the restaurant looked after us brilliantly and was always checking if we needed anything, I had a pollo pasta which is my all time pizza express favourite my daughter has dietary requirements and they were so careful and considerate towards this which put me at ease. The food was served hot and tasted lovely, I will definitely be returning for more meals and celebrations couldn’t fault them! The best pizza express I’ve ever been to Thankyou to the team at Caterham Pizza Express you made our experience great.

The ambiance was inviting, and the restaurant was exceptionally clean and tidy. The food. It was absolutely delicious! I ordered my food from Caterham that arrived stone cold. Called the restaurant for 30 mins. No answer. Used the online chat and told I would be contacted in 7-10 days. Paid a lot of money for inedible food. Very unhappy!!!!

Just ordered a collection for my daughters birthday, when we get there we was told they had given it away to a delivery driver in error. 40min later we were still waiting for. when we get it home we find they made the wrong pizza for my daughter, the order is missing dough balls and one pizza came with the baking tray attached. And as always noone answering the phone to resolve the issue. So no dinner for my daughters birthday

The staff are nice and helpful, the wait isn't long atall for the food it's the perfect place to bring children for a nice dinner.

Best waiter we ever had at Caterham branch Katie was her name if I'm not wrong she was super with us from start till end she made our visit so special always around checking if we needed anything.

Went for daughter's 3rd birthday and the kind manager (Farouk- i think) let both kids put toppings on their pizzas with hats and aprons on. Service was fantastic - they even gave our daughter a birthday card! Food was good, but recommend for the family friendly service.

The food was cold the quid was uncooked and my dough balls didn’t arrive. Honestly so disheartened

Booked a table for 8pm on a Tuesday night. Arrived at Caterham Pizza Express and were told by a very busy owner that food would not be served for at least 45 mins because they had too many delivery orders to deal with and only 3 staff serving. So people who were sitting in the restaurant had to wait in turn for their food to be made. Ridiculous system- they should have a dedicated team for dealing with deliveries. You make the effort to turn up to eat at a restaurant where you are not the priority- it’s a waste of time. And you wouldn’t know the situation until you get there so how do you know when they will be busy or not? Perhaps they should stop taking online table bookings when it is that busy. We decided not to add to their burdens- we didn’t mind the wait but the staff were so stressed out that we didn’t want to be in that kind of atmosphere all evening. We went to the Indian down the road instead and had a lovely meal. Sorry guys- we come here regularly and it’s not the first time we have had a poor experience, but this just felt like our custom was not valued.

We booked the restaurant before a theatre visit at the Miller Centre to get salads. My friend arrived first and mentioned to the waitress we needed to order swiftly. She acknowledged. I arrived and we sat for 5mins before I got the waitress attention and asked if we could order. She didn’t say yes/ no/ no problem, she just sort of “humphed”. Another 5 mins went by and we saw her serving others, preparing deserts and we asked again if we could order. She nodded. After another 5minutes went by and we gave up, left, and got snacks from Waitrose. If she needed 15mins to see to others first then at least acknowledge the customer and politely apologise but say there may be a wait so we could have tried another restaurant, rather than wait indefinitely. Disappointing as it was my first visit and I really wanted to like the place as Caterham doesn’t have many nice restaurants to chose from (excluding some nice Indian options) Maybe they need more staff on a Saturday evening.

£27 for that food was terrible value. Very low quantity & the quality was poor. Calamari was soggy, halloumi bites tiny, the wrap was passable & the Caesar salad looked like a child’s portion. Very very poor.

An hour late, stone cold, no answer on the phone at the restaurant. Just Eat less than sympathetic also.

Why offer a time slot you can't meet

Ridiculously overpriced. £50 for 2 tiny pizzas and 1 normal sized one, plus dough balls. Pizzas are tiny and in no way justify the price. Do not go here!

Every time and I don’t learn from my mistakes. Pizza just turned up via Deliveroo and it’s stone cold. Ridiculous. Will not order from there again. So bad. Such a shame as when you eat in at the restaurant, it’s lovely. Sort it out, please!!!

Not sure if it’s the chain or this branch, but the pizzas are lacking any discernible flavour, the toppings are either dry to a crisp or soggy. It’s been a while since I re-tried Pizza Express (after a poor experience a while back), and nah - rubbish. To think this used to be a premium brand. Now it’s just a dominos without the self-awareness.

The manager was very inattentive and sat on his phone the whole time!!! Very disappointing experience.😠🤬

Too quiet for a Friday evening but service and food was good.

Me and my friend went to collect 2 desserts. First of all they hadnt even made it when it said ready for collection, but when they asked what we ordered they said they were out. we waited 15 minutes for 2 desserts. The brownie was stale the honeycomb cake thing wqs delicious.

Both pizzas needed reheating and missing Dough balls that we’d paid for. Tried ringing 5 times no answer and went to answer phone, partner had to drive there to get them - no apology at all - bye bye, won’t be back!.

Initially was unhappy with table and waitress, but then Edyta turned up... AMAZING, attentive, polite, chatty and lovely....

Came as a family of 3, gave us a table by the window so little one could look out the window. The food was great and service was very prompt but you still didn't feel they were on top of you as soon as you finished your meal. The roulade was lovely :)

Always a family favourite. You know what the food is going to be like. Good coffee as well. I have to say though, it is getting very expensive to eat it these days which is a shame. Meal for 2 adults and 2 kids was £120. Ouch.
