What an amazing kids party… thank you all for the wonderful time

Service and food absolutely fantastic

We went for supper to celebrate my little ones birthday. I ordered a coffee which arrived luke warm and half filled, I asked for sugar twice and ended up finding it myself. My daughter ordered from the set Piccolo menu, my Husband ordered a Florentina pizza and I ordered my favourite American pizza. When my pizza arrived it was sparse on the cheese and the pepperoni was a completely different flavour, I struggled to eat this, when the Waiter came to collect our plates I asked him about the pepperoni- he checked and told me that the pepperoni they use has recently changed!!! He told me he was vegetarian and did not seem to care about the fact I could not eat my food, I actually had to remove the pepperoni from my pizza. I told the waiter it was my daughter’s birthday and he kindly gave her ‘a free small dessert’ with a candle - I thought this was strange as the dessert is normally included in the Piccolo meal. We paid and left. However when I got home I checked the receipt- they charged us individually for my daughter’s items which added up to more than the set meal!! Even the cheap concentrated carton of apple juice was £2!! We had a meal only 2 months ago at Pizza Express in the South Bank which was really lovely, we will not be returning to the South Woodford branch - perhaps it’s a franchise… very disappointing

Ordered from here. Took almost two hours to get to me. The Romano base pizza was cold, the cheese was solidified and the base, even after re-heating was a dry cracker. The 'new' crispy potato side, which on the delivery service cost £4.95, was about 7 cold potato wedges sliced thinly and simultaneously under-cooked and over-cooked. I've attached a photograph of the portion size for laughs- I suppose I should be grateful, since I hate food waste. Taste? Think fries from a takeaway that you take a nibble out of the next day- that rubbery, yet floury taste. Just awful. Also avoid ordering here from Deliveroo, because the most they'll refund is 20% of money spent.

Good food, and a nice atmosphere

Food was good. Our waiter, Alex, was extremely friendly and his service was best I have ever experienced.

The waitress that served us was amszing but on arrival the person that greeted us on arrival was not very inpressive and looked like she didnt wanted to be there. We where there for about an hour and the 2 tables next to us they where left whit all the plates from previous customers while 3 other waitresses where siting chating and giggling.

Dont come here for pizza. Its bad. I ordered a Romana Pizza base which I paid additional £1.95. Romana pizza is described as bigger, thinner, crispier pizza but what I got was an oily floppy chapathi. Worse than supermarket pizza and you pay 18 to 20 pounds.

The food is alright but the waiters can be absolutely nasty like do they not get paid enough?? They make fun of you to your face amongst themselves and laugh very loudly at u

Safa was an amazing entertainer at our child's party. The pizza chef joined in too and the whole vibe was great. Big let down when they ran out of ice creams and had cheap mini ice lollies instead. But wud certainly come back.

I like Pizza Express BUT they refused to take the One for All gift voucher which they say online that they accept. I trust them less now as a result.

I was poorly served by the ignorant, uneducated, bearded manager who treats customers poorly and disrespects the drivers who represent the customers who are at home waiting for their food, treating them badly and making them wait for more than 30 minutes.

One of the worst pizzas I have had is my life. The cheese was nearly burnt, the slices weren't even cut properly so the whole pizza rips if you try to grab a slice. The balance of flavors was horrible with little to no sauce and a floppy crust. The amount of pepperoni was insane as well, you couldn't taste anything else. For a price of 20 pound you would think the pizza would be at least edible. Sadly that was not the case. I do not recommend this place at all, you would have better luck with a frozen pizza.

Pizza had no cheese on it, ordered a classic american and no cheese on it barely any sauce too.

Pizza's are nice. Good choices. Not considered cheap. Service was a bit slow, but the girl was friendly and helpful.

Eating with family. Wasn't doing pizza so had a salad and other menu options. Good quality food, however the calamari had too much batter on, which is a personal preference. Spacious with a friendly waitress.

Food was good but service quite poor yet again as they seemed preoccupied with take away orders above in house diners and re-stocking the refrigerators.

Picked up a takeaway, ordered cheesecake, advertised with chocolate sauce , got home no chocolate sauce , clearly can't be bothered to check orders , will not be ordering again, 7.25 fir cheesecake without the chocolate sauce disgraceful , it's the small attention to detail that keep customers

I went with some friends, and one of them is vegan. However, it was not a problem because they have a lot of choices for vegan and vegetarian people. The margarita was excellent 👌🏻 The best one I have ever eaten in my life ! The waiters are very kind and attentive. They have answered to all of our questions and we really enjoyed our lunch !

We are not coming back to this restaurant anymore! The general manager Natalia was very rude and unprofessional. When we asked for two separate bills, she came to our table with attitude, saying they don't do that (even though was already been done by the waitress ). She involved nearby tables in the conversation, making us feel very uncomfortable while we were eating. This is unacceptable! She has serious communication problems. The next step in this complaint is an email to the head office.

Just warm rubbery and hard to cut. My first order from pizza express and it's probably my last. Absolutely a waste of money. So disappointed.

I can only rate the food I have ordered for delivery,the new carbonara was binned unfortunately the pasta was literally raw and the chicken pesto pasta was ok but the chicken inside was definitely old had a strange taste hope not to get sick🤞I have made a complaint on Uber to get may money back I hope I do

Food was cold, tough and congealed with part of the order missing. Not the first time this has happened. Won’t take the chance ordering from here again.

It’s quite unfortunate that the pizza wasn’t as great as it usually is. I’ve ordered from this place quite a few times in the past and it’s been wonderful. However, this time round was just disappointing which is quite a shame. The dough especially was undercooked and genuinely felt like I was eating cardboard.

We visited this busy pizzeria on a late saturday afternoon, after pre-booking a table for 13 of us. The gram was very attentive and our waiter was super nice and very polite. The food arrived quickly and the quality was fantastic. We ordered a selection of both pizzas, pastas and other dishes. For anyone thinking of visiting, it is worth using the pizza express app and also double up your rewards by paying through jam doughnut app. We highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed if you decide to visit!

what a joke. ordered three veg pizas and got 1 meat pizza delivered. pizza express and driver said it's not their problem and can't contact just eat. what a joke.

Visited today as we both had Silver membership. We had a portion of olives to start with however, they were extremely salty. I had an American Hot which was good.

Such a delightful service from the manager Ibs, been here many times but never experienced such a warm welcome and great hospitality. He is an example of excellent service.

pizzas were undercooked and cold. dough balls undercooked, cold and half the size they normally are.

I ordered a Caesar salad large which ended up being so small and no dressing supplied. First and last time I will be ordering from there not worth the 40 minute wait either sadly.

I ordered food via JustEat, but the driver failed to deliver my order. Despite raising a complaint, no action was taken. I decided to visit the restaurant to address the issue in person. Upon arrival, I was greeted by one of the managers, Natalia. She was extremely polite and helpful. Although I was very irate and abrupt due to my autistic daughter's meltdown caused by the non-delivery, Natalia handled the situation with great care and sensitivity. She explained that food delivery is handled by third-party contractors over whom they have no control. Nevertheless, she generously offered to prepare my order again at no charge as a gesture of goodwill. The food was prepared very quickly. I apologized to Natalia for my abruptness and offered to pay, but she graciously refused. Despite the restaurant being very busy, she dealt with the problem swiftly and professionally. I took the food back to my daughter, who was very happy. The food was of top quality, and my son and his friends also found it delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. They offer excellent food and outstanding customer service.

It was my son’s 7th birthday and both the manager (sorry didn’t get his name) and Alex our waiter were excellent, they couldn’t have done more. I had a couple of extra requests and they were more than happy to accommodate.

My local Pizza Express brunch is in South Woodford and each visit is a very pleasant one as the staff are always friendly and attentive. The service is quick and efficient. The food is delicious and always served hot.

I absolutely love this pizza express they are so friendly amazing friendly and so much more they don’t appear to show the stresses of the day and they make you feel welcomed PIZZA EXPRESS HEAD OFFICE you so have to be proud with this branch they deserve a one big pat on the back!! The waiter was very friendly but not over friendly, paid attention to the order which is mostly not the case in the Pizza Express restaurants. The waiter made a good recommendation for my friend who was not hungry, his recommendation was spot on. It was a nice evening as the waiter was very good, the food was good.

Had exceptional service from Ibs who was very attentive to make sure we were satisfied with our meals. He was pleasant and very welcoming.

The best experience ever! The starters were so delicious and we couldn't resist it so we ordered loads of pizza! The customer service was fantastic, all the workers there were really nice, friendly and helpful for us. A manager by the name of Ibs, was a really nice guy and the best manager of any restaurant which is why all the employees are hard workers and helpful for pizza lovers like myself! The atmosphere was really tranquil and soothing. I almost fell asleep because of this atmosphere. Best pizza express in all of London and I would definitely recommend this pizza express because of the food, their employees and their hard working manager!

Woeful. When you can buy the pizzas at the supermarkets less than 100m away, you had better offer service to justify £17 a pizza. Very poor service and amateurish, plates handed over the table to us, cutlery placed directly on unwiped table, slow slow service, suspiciously quick delivery of dough balls (cold, natch). Some adjacent tables remained uncleared, disinfectant bottles standing unused, for the entirety of our time there. Suspect the staff were untrained and the manager inexperienced. Comedically small cheesecake with all the freshness you'd expect from one bought at Iceland. Absolutely dreadful. Visited 20/02/2024

Food had cooled a bit too much but that’s expected in this weather

Visited as we had just finished shopping .It was quiet and we had a discount as we are members. We had garlic bread to start and i had American Hot. The service was good and friendly

My rider left the restaurant with my order and went the completely wrong direction. He stopped in a place for nearly 10 minutes. When he arrived, my food was cold. I was very disappointed

I have order on Uber eats and I will never order again! I was delivered a cold dry pizza after I have waited for ages for it to be delivered and I was also unable to speak to anyone on the phone. I have wasted £25. I do NOT recommend this place at all.

First time ordering from here. The pizza arrived cold - not just warm or with a loss of a bit of heat - but freezing cold as though it had been inside a fridge. The restaurant should not deliver if the food cannot arrive in a good condition.

Expected delivery time kept moving. Went from 7pm to 8:25pm! Food arrived cold. Also the dressing for the salad and the house sauce was the stingiest amounts I’ve ever seen. Like the leftover dregs from another meal. Wasn’t remotely enough for dressing the salad. Tried to get the driver to return it but he refused to take it. Full refund expected. The last few orders we have placed from PE have all had issues with missing items, cold food and calls never being answered. Fuming.

Ordered pizza & doughballs. Cost me £25. Doughballs were like rubber & Pizza was stone cold. Rang to complain, but of course you cannot speak to a human. Never will I order from here again. Total rip off.

Me and my friends were standing outside the doors discussing whether we should go to Nandos or Pizza Express when a waiter came up to us and asked us what we were doing. “Oh! We’re just indecisive of where we should go to eat!” one friend says. It was at that moment when he began to push us into going to Pizza Express. He started talking about the Employee Review day and saying that if we rate it 5 stars we get free dough balls. After another 10 mins of discussion we finally chose Pizza Express. We walked in and got greeted by the same guy who said,”Oh you again? I’ll show you how to review” -I’ll finish later. Phones about to die-

Absolutely shocking had a take away from South Woodford, the poor uber driver got there when they said and they made him 40 mins and told him to apologise to us 🙄 he was so Apologetic and sweet, theres no fault from uber at all. There was fiod missing. It was also sooo cold and the driver came stright here , the salad was a joke , the 3 chicken Millionaise was awful ,will never order what a con ,the pizza was shocking basically we throw it all away , I would never go there again take away or eat in never . Should have sent more pics, but I've had enough to be honest 0 Stars if possible
