We originally booked Las Iguanas but they were so short staffed they couldn’t serve us in time for our visit to Abba Voyage despite having 1.5hrs to spare. The whole centre is difficult to navigate but when I arrived and explained our situation to Lewis at Pizza Express; he was so friendly and kind and promised to serve us in time. Lewis was a fabulous ambassador for the brand, so attentive to everything from drinks to food orders. We were 2 couples, each wanting different things. He kept an eye on our drinks, helped us with directions and suggested food. Lewis was engaging with all 4 of us. We all honestly felt we had never been served better, hence the 5* review. He was even really grateful for the tip. We listened to him at other tables and he was the same with everyone. Fabulous visit and the food was great too. Pizza Express, this man should really be a manager if he isn’t already. He should definitely get a bonus anyway!

Only 4 stars as dough balls lukewarm and no salted caramel sauce for sundae (chocolate instead which wasn’t great)

After a great experience at the Pizza Express Shepherd's Bush, we wanted to try this location at the Westfield White City. However, this experience was the complete opposite. After arriving, we waited at the "Wait here to be seated" sign - only to be completely ignored by the women behind the bar. Another waiter coming out of the restaurant area went to join that woman - also ignoring us. After waiting for 2-3 minutes without any reaction from the working staff that clearly noticed us, we sat down at an available table near the front bar. One minute later, some other person comes to the table to only tell us that they're closing down that area. And off he went again. No offer to be seated anywhere else. No word about whether all tables are taken and to please come at another time. Nothing. Just, that he doesn't want us sitting there and that's it. Mind you, this was around 8pm with the location open for another 2 hours. After this experience, we left and went to a different restaurant. This location won't see us ever again.

A bit of a mixed review. The food was excellent and we couldn’t find a fault with it, however the serviced we received was extremely poor. We had to ask 3 times for our drinks to be brought out (the starters and mains arrived before the drinks). Then had to ask for clean cutlery and napkins. We then had to ask twice for the bill to be brought out and a further two times for the card machine to be brought over so we could pay. I appreciate it is a busy Saturday lunchtime however service this bad should never be acceptable. I believe the waitresses name was Sandra however it was multiple members of the team who let us down. (Table 92, 13:15 booking).

Decided to grab a last minute dinner here and whilst the service was good that was about the only highlight 1. Pizza express don’t stock orange juice - as a national chain I find this very disappointing 2. I asked for a berry mojito which is advertised to come in a tumbler and retails for £8.45. It is not worth this money. The tumbler was 3/4 full including ice and when I asked for it to be returned even the server agreed it wasn’t worth the money!! 3. Whilst my partner enjoyed his pizza my chicken Milanese salad was lacking and I was still hungry afterwards 4. Two out of the three toilets were out of order and the only working one had no tissue in it To me these are all basic that should be easy to get right and it severely lacked in that

Also die Pizza, das wichtigste wenn man in den Pizza Express geht, es war eine Margaritha mit Mozzarella war schon sehr lecker, frische Tomaten, Basilikum, ganz dünner Teg groß, der Superfood Salat war ok, manche braune Stellen am Salat Dressing so etwas drüber gekippt, zu wenig. Bedienung war schon nett, nur es war viel zu laut, Kindergeburtstag o.ä. Der Preis war zu hoch für diese Qualität, da gibt's Besseres in London

If the restaurant was clean then it would have been marked higher. We arrived for an early tea and were quite surprised to find food on the floors and some on the chairs. It wasn't busy either so don't know why it hadn't been cleaned properly. Food was nice

On the 28/7/15, my friend and our two sons went to eat at the Pizza Express in Westfield shopping centre around 5 pm. We went there as it's where our sons love to go and all the ones we have been to so far have been excellent. It's upstairs and the decor is very dissimilar to other PE's - very dark and appeared unkempt. We sat down nevertheless. The whole experience was poor. Lacklustre staff who seemed too busy to deal with us despite the restaurant being empty and there being lots of staff around. Our Leggera pizzas were served lukewarm. We returned one of the pizzas as I had almost finished mine by the time we decided to complain. I had finished my pizza by the time my friend had the second one brought to her. The pizzas were as good as usual. The experience wasn't great, due to the ambience, the service and the rather messy "services" like experience. We thought that the Nandos across the corridor looked very appealing despite the fact that we have never been there (well the boys have!). It won't put me off PE as I know they are usually excellent.

The restaurant was not very busy when we went there for lunch. The staff were nice and took our order fairly quickly. The pizza tasted good but I have tasted better pizza in other restaurants. A little note about their 'large' pizza size: it is not enough for three people. Make sure that you order some other 'main' dish or side order with it if you are very hungry.

Always very busy, but lovely menu, excellent staff, good atmosphere !! Not too expensive, children' meals very good value. .

Have visited Pizza Express many times before but was very disappointed with this visit. This was our first at the restaurant in Westfield but I'm not sure we'll be returning.The diners at the next table had to send theirs back because it was undercooked.Ordered doughballs to start and didn't even get to finish these before our mains came.I had the Pollo ad Astra which I always have and love but this time it was horribly greasy, I've never had it like that before. There were huge clumps of tomato purée in places and parts were so hard i couldn't cut through them. I don't even know how to describe it but it was just horribly disappointing.Staff were friendly but food was not up to scratch.

A qualidade das pizzas do Pizza Express é muito boa e o valor também, começando em 8 libras. A pizza é bem grande e serve duas pessoas, boa para levar para o hotel ou jantar.

The pizzas are superb.The same cannot be said about the service though. The staff didn't look enthusiastic or even ready for customers.

We went here for lunch - on a quiet November afternoon.After many different times dining in Pizza Express restaurants this has been the worst experience.Service was slow, we had no less than three waiters working our table throughout the visit. Also, when the food arrived it was disappointing, both of our pizza's were dry and overdone. My friends pizza was black, burnt to a crisp, - eventually we didn't pay for it. Mine was also overdone, thankfully not black, but also, solid as a rock to try and cut into. Not pleasant at all. The sad thing is, it was relatively quiet, so you would expect a better level of service within this kind of situation.Our third waiter was apologetic about the pizza, which was good. And as we said, we didn't pay for one of them. But still, this sort of thing shouldnt happen- it shouldn't have been sent in the first place! Sad because we usually have such a nice time at other Pizza Express restaurants.

I have carefully checked my audit trail of emails and I can assert that at 15:32 on 22nd Oct 2014 I reserved an iPhone 6+ to be collected from the Apple Store at White City between 7pm and 8pm and the moment I got confirmation, I thought, what the hell, I'll try the Pizza Express there while I'm at it. So I made an on-line reservation at Pizza Express White City for 8pm for 1 person. The iPhone 6+ purchase went smoothly, they were expecting me and had the kit ready. When the transaction was over, I meandered a floor upwards to find PE and when I presented myself to the girl on the desk, she flapped her reservation sheet dismissively and said she had never heard of me. I could have flapped my iPad under her nose to show the reservation confirmation but I didn't. I grovelled and begged to be fitted in. Why did I do that instead of insisting on my rights? Well I will never forget the "Not the 9 O'Clock News" sketch when Rowan Atkinson sneezed into the pizza and announced "One Pizza Royale with extra mozzarella". I do not want retribution snot in my pizza and hence, I have to restrain my natural tendency to be ironic when things do not go my way.I was then ushered to a table by the broom cupboard as you can see in my posted picture.Desperate for a drink, yet it was 15 minutes later when the waitress found me in the broom cupboard and said "We are a bit busy, I'll be with you in a minute." She came back 15 mins later and took my order, including the drink which, in any restaurant worth its salt should be on the table within 5 minutes, if the guests need it. Half an hour before I got the drink, tut, tut, tut.Now at Pizza Express, I am, and always have been a "La Reine" man. This time I succumbed to the pressure at lashed out an extra £1.55 for the new style, the first time I have ever tried the variant. My wine came 37 minutes after entering and the pizza 11 minutes after that. It was not good. The pizza overlapped the plate by 2 inches all round and draped over the table, smearing and sucking up whatever putative ebola viruses that might have been coughed onto the table before me.It gets worse. The pizza was soft, undercooked, tasting of Carrefour cheap chopped tomatoes straight out of the tin. It was floppy, soggy and to be honest, a discredit to the honoured tradition of Pizza Express pizzas which I used to enjoy in the Alley in Manchester when I lived in that noble city.The whole aura is GREED. There are too many tables in relation to the staff and the oven. So the pizzas are rushed. By definition, a rushed pizza is not crisp. The customer has been forgotten.I suspect it was not the fault of Pizza Express, but the whole atmosphere in that part of the blingy Mall is a pervading smell of cracked rape seed oil that has been multiply overused. I potential culprit might be the adjacent Nando, but I will not assert this with certainty. Somebody round that area is making the air smell.I have to say, were it not the window of opportunity to pick up an iPhone 6+ 64GB at White City, I would never have gone there. It is not my business as an occasional TripAdvisor reviewer, and I have been told that I have 5,000 followers in Montpellier, to tell you what to do. I will never say "Avoid Pizza Express White City" because for all I know, you might like soggy pizzas and desperately slow service.But as you might guess, I did not leave happy.

The starter was a sharing platter it was very good plenty of meats and salad stuff to choose from and the bread /pizza strips were very yummy. The pizzas were very well cooked and presented. The staff were attentive and polite.

Fantastic thin crust pizza. Love the dough balls as a starter. Used the 1 for 2 voucher so bill was not expensive. Staff was nice especially Ryan.

Durante il nostro soggiorno a Londra abbiamo sempre cenato in questa catena veramente diffusa nella città. Ottime le insalate!!

My partner and I went into pizza express today at around 4pm. Wasn't too busy when we arrived, and the waitress sat us down surrounded by three tables that had dirty plates and cutlery still on it with food scattered around the floor. It took them 15 minutes to take our drinks order. During this time there were three members of staff stood around chatting, allowing diners to sit among that filth! Due to this my partner and myself got up and left, telling the manager we were not eating in an environment like this, to which she seemed bewildered by what we were saying. I even heard two other diners saying to a member of staff that they were never coming here again due to it being filthy dirty. If anything go next door to the spaghetti house, as you pay the same price for better food and wonderful service!

One of my favorite. The service was excellent. The food all so delicious and the do have great wines of Sicilian.

on January I went to pizza express and it was delicious I wish I could have it everyday that's how yummy it is if your little kids get very bored PIZZA EXPRESS will maybe give them some colouring activities

Is just the mac donald of the pizzas. Anonymous taste, ingredient not fresh. Basically dominos pizza but more expensive........ You can eat much better pizzas for half price.

Loved the Pizzas, the service and the staff. Really great right down to Christine the 'authentio' Italian waitress. We are fussy about everything and especially pizzas so this place was a welcome and not overly expensive surprise. Luckily we had not read the previous reviews or we might not have gone. Just shos that you cant please all of the people all of the time.

Service was bad. Waited 24 minutes to be served and the food was average. Never going to any of their outlet again.

Best pizza ever eated! Will never forget this trip! Go and enjoy because is the best place to be with friends and family!

My children love pizza express so we are regular visitors. Sadly although the staff are lovely food wise this one doesn't cut it. Pizzas just not tasty and usually overly cooked on the four visits I've made.

The staff are always helpful. I wanted a low calorie dinner as on weight watchers and they advised me you would think the salad would be best but this was more unhealthy in my guide book so I had the half pizza half salad and was lovley :)

Il locale in cui abbiamo mangiato era nella zona sud, a Croydon, in George Street. Dopo 2 giorni di pranzi e cene stomachevoli, eravamo quasi rassegnati all'idea dell'ennesima schifezza. Siamo rimasti, invece, piacevolmente sorpresi dalla pizza offertaci (e considerate che siamo napoletani...). Buono anche il dessert con palline di pasta di pizza con Nutella...e cosa vuoi di più dalla vita??

personale che non si rende disponibile parlando lentamente per farsi capire da noi italiani e premetto che io la mia ragazza e l'altra coppia che era con noi l'inglese lo sappiamo molto bene ma non riuscivamo a capire cosa ci stava dicendo la cameriera che alla fine ha chiesto di sbrigarci. la pizza sembrava fritta il pomodoro sembrava non so cosa e il prezzo per una pizza margherita piccolissima e una coca piccola è stato di 20 sterline a testa. quasi 30€. prezzi del genere nemmeno al principe di piemonte in versilia.
