Lovely food and excellent service. 6 adults and three young children. Good soft play area to use whilst adults relaxed and had a drink. Ordered food and came in good time. Pizzas pastas and kids meals all delicious. Would definitely recommend visit and recommend.

Brilliant food and great that the kids had the soft play so we could have a chat and relax a little. I was worried after seeing some of the reviews but honestly I can’t fault it. Friendly and helpful staff, with fab pizzas and the kids are entertained - what more could you want! just to note that the soft play is additional cost (£5 per child), on your bill at the end. But we thought it was worth it. The soft play isn’t huge but kept our 3-8 year olds all entertained.

We came on a Tuesday evening and booked online which was super easy. Ordered 2 pizzas, 2 pastas, a side of dough balls and and a children’s meal. The chef kindly split the pastas so each couple could share pizza and pasta which was nice touch! Food was really good and we loved the addition of the soft play so our little one could run around while we ate in peace dipping out for pizza and fruit shoot breaks! The soft play was fairly quiet and super clean which was lovely! Only suggestion would be I having the one entry/exit to the soft play as although our little is too small to open the side exit it could easily be left open and the front was often unmanned which meant we felt the need to hover! Overall though great food and service and we will 100% be back regularly!

We were invited to bring some children and their parents along for breakfast and a play in the new soft play. Alice who organised the event has been absolutely wonderful. I work for a charity and the families were invited to have breakfast and play for the morning. The feedback i have had from the families has been fantastic. Thank you to all the staff at Pizza Dough for going above and beyond.

Parked in the car park, got toddler out the car. No indication from the outside it was busy. Went in, stood beside the soft-play with an excited 3 yr old. Could see several empty tables, stood for around 5 mins to then be told by a waitress, sorry we are at maximum capacity. Then had to leave out passed soft-play back to the car. Simple solution, update facebook to say full or get a sign out the front visible for all parents! Helping us to avoid upset kids. Will not be back, as it looked very disorganised!

We had our son’s 1st birthday party here in February. We done the pizza and play party package. The party was great and the children loved making their own pizzas and the ice cream sundae’s. There was also decorate your on chefs hats on the table. We got the full party package which included party bags and decorations, these were a hit with the children and saved me so much time. The soft play also has a baby sensory area which was great for our baby and his friends. I would definitely recommend :)

We had our little boy's 6th birthday party here organised by Alice. We were super impressed it was the best time. The soft play is just the right size to let the kids get on with it. They then did pizza making and there was also colouring in on the tables. We have older kids and had extra tables for the parents which was really convenient and enjoyable to share some pizzas and drinks while the party happened. The food was great with plenty of choice, the service was excellent the kids had a brilliant time. Highly recommended and we'll be back for a meal.. The restaurant is suitable for all diners as it is big enough for there to be a quiet end and especially ideal if you have little ones who might get bored during a meal.

Our experience here was great until we realised there was another exit to the softplay (which wasn't mentioned when we sat down) that leads to a carpark and main road, you can't see this exit from the restaurant. I asked 3 times if the main entrance was the only way in and out and was told yes, however there is a secret side door (supposedfly for staff use only) where older children were using and leaving wide open, which could be a health and safety risk! Other than that, the food was great and the service was good. I would return if the side door was removed!

I visited here today with my 20 month old daughter and some friends and their children, we opted for the half term deal which is soft play and pizza, ice cream and a drink for the kids all for £12.50, the food was absolutely gorgeous and the soft play is new and clean, the staff were exceptional and so friendly, making a fuss of all the children. Can’t wait to return!

After booking for a table of 7 five days before our visit, we were disappointed to be left waiting at least 15 minutes for our table. We had four hungry children with us, and apparently the reason our table wasn't ready was because they'd had several walk ins who had taken longer at the table than expected. We noticed that at one point the gate that leads from the new softplay to the exit and carpark was wide open, not great when you can't actually see into the softplay from the dining area. The food was delicious, I'll say that, but the experince was definitely dampened. This is a shame as we have been coming here for a while.

Absolute joke, never been to a worse run restaurant, had to find our own table waited 25 minutes to be told by a server that there was only two of them on so we would have to wait to be served. We decided to leave and asked for a refund for the soft play to be told by a “ manager “ that it’s not the issue and we should of just stayed seated and waited to eventually be served

I couldn't wait to sample this place as I loved the idea of combining a soft play with a pizza restaurant. Sadly the noise levels were unbearable despite the restaurant being only half full. I signed a 2-sided T&C's at the check in desk, so I felt no time to read it as we just wanted to be seated, but I should hope there was something along the lines of keeping noise to reasonable levels! It was like sitting outside at the school play yard but worse. My child who really enjoys soft plays couldn't bare the noise levels (he has sensory) which was upsetting especially as I'd gone there for this very reason. That aside, we were sat far from the soft play entrance despite making a booking request for a table next to it. I noticed a 'Reserved' table opposite the entrance to the soft play and I wonder if this was meant for us? I asked but no one seemed to know yet it stayed unoccupied throughout my booking. Initially I wasn't happy about this but in the end I was glad due of the noise levels and it wasn't even half term or full. Service was mediocre, no glasses were given with our water jug so I had to ask ten minutes later. Bill payment was requested before our pizza was even served which felt odd and rushed. Luckily the pizza was delicious. Sadly, I would hesitate to return.

advertised as opening at 3pm. We turn up with a sign at the desk saying it’s now 4pm. 4pm comes but not one person in sight. We stand for 10 minutes and still no one to be seen. We ask in the bar next door and a young lady from that side attempts to serve us. We ask why there is no one about to be told she is the manager and has no idea as she has just got in herself. No apology at all. We ask for the advertised specials menu to be told every single thing on that menu is sold out. We order from the usual menu asking for the vegan sausage pizza but with the regular cheese instead of the vegan. It came with the vegan cheese which was returned and a standard margarita ordered instead. The bill comes with a charity donation already included which puts the customer in an embarrassing situation of needing to request it to be removed or pay it when you’d prefer not to. The place was empty and needs some professional guidance in front of house. The young folk that are serving lack the skills to run the place by themselves with no idea how to deal with a complaint. It all feels really unprofessional. We will not be back.

We popped in after our daughter's (nursery!) graduation for a family pizza meal. We hadn't realised that there was a summer holiday 'kids eat for £1' deal but that was a welcome surprise! We each had pizzas which were cooked in the open plan kitchen - our kids enjoyed watching their pizzas being made, the chef talked them through the process and was personable and kind. Our pizzas were delicious and generously portioned, we ended up with about a pizza box's worth of left overs to take away afterwards. The stand out of our experience was the service from Charlotte who couldn't have been better with our kids. She made them feel super welcome and looked after and was kind and funny throughout.

Arguably one of the worst experiences in terms of service we have ever had.. Very quiet in the restaurant, very few tables (probably 20% occupancy) but still took approximately 1.5 hours to get our very simple pizza orders. I suspect it wasn’t the front of house problem but more to do with the kitchen. As I’m moving back home to Newcastle after 35 years this really is not a good experience. Offering us free side dishes as compensation is not really good enough and is merely just a tactic to deflect and potentially cover up some serious kitchen management issues. Takeaways took priority. Needless to say we won’t be coming back ever again when we return to to the north eat and we will make sure our friends and family are also informed

We took the grandkids on the £25 pizza deal, great value for money, really nice food and service very good, only minor complaint was one of the pizzas was slightly burnt but didn’t distract to much from a nice afternoon out.

Waited an age to be seated. After a while we noticed that one waitress was expected to seat people, take their orders, bring bills, process payment and deliver food. Our two Mexican pizzas were cold when they arrived. Then we started to look at the chef placing a finished pizza on the kitchen counter and watched the time taken for the poor waitress to stop doing all the other stuff and deliver the food. No one came to ask if everything was ok. When it was time for a birthday song, three other wait staff appeared, sang and left! No manager on the floor at any time. Just a complete waste of time and money. We’re hotel guests - never again.

Placed order at 4:45 expected 30-45 min Delivery. Kept changing until it got to 6:30 and I still had no food. Called pizza express they said the food had been ready for delivery. Driver came eventually and I got my food at 6:40 - Cold. (Receipt on food says the food had been ready since 5:30 for driver) Extremely annoyed - wasted my Student Voucher which is a treat on a delayed meal which is now cold.

The Order was last of the nights food. If you could call it that. Special kabab was a hard pita bread with two or three bits of chicken and three blocks of some type of meat. The garlic bread looked like it had been reheated in a deep fat fryer. The crusts were fat and soggy, hard with a crunch. This order wasn’t £30 worth of food at all and the amount of kabab was disproportionately small
