The best place to take children for food and soft play, what a hidden gem! The most lovely staff Lauren and Lucy and the most amazing chef. Food was incredible, atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. My grandchildren loved every minute of it. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back ❤️❤️❤️

Terrible. The pizzas were actually ok, but the service was horrendous and the soft play was extremely loud which ruined the atmosphere completely.

First time visiting, I heard good things from friends who've visited in the past. Called about 1hr before and managed to book a table, no issues. The food was great, really fresh and tasty. Service was fantastic, friendly and a special mention to our server Lauren, an asset to the business. Will definitely be coming again. Highly Recommend.

Maybe we hit on a bad day but staff seemed a little off game - a few times we smiled to get their attention in a not so busy restaurant and we had to ask several times for the same things because they'd been forgotten - then we had to ask to pay - no one offered drink refills nor did they ask if we wanted dessert - we did but we waited so long to get service we ended up changing our minds ... Food was very good venue very clean and staff were lovely just not as "on it" as they should really be ..👍🏻

Before we visited, we took a good look at the reviews. We were kind of nervous but also hopeful, especially since we needed a place with a soft play area to keep the kids entertained, and this spot seemed like one of the few options nearby. To our surprise, the service was actually pretty good, and the food was as expected, although the pizza choices were a bit strange. I wasn't a fan of the Chicken Tikka pizza, and my wife didn't find any lemon flavor in the Lemon Chicken pizza. But our main issue was how kid-friendly the place was—or, rather, how it wasn't. The soft play area was tucked away behind a wall, making it impossible to keep an eye on the kids. And getting in meant signing a complex 18 paragraph liability waiver, which felt like overkill for a family outing. The only changing facility was hidden locked away in a disabled toilet, and you had to ask and wait for a key which isn't ideal when all the other toilets were occupied and your child is about to wet themselves. The men's restroom was a hassle too, with only one stall that was always occupied when we needed it, and the sinks and urinals were too high for the kids to use comfortably. It just seemed strange that a place focused on kids' fun would have such inadequate facilities. And don't even get me started on the online booking system. We thought we'd booked a slot, but it turned out to be just an "enquiry" that no one ever responded to. Good thing we called to double-check because the time slot we wanted wasn't even available. Not sure we will be rushing back.

We booked in advance for 3pm with two toddlers and it was great! Service was quick, food was lovely. Would have been five stars but the play area got really boisterous towards the end with older kids running riot. Would be better with a lower age limit. Would definitely go again though!

Parked in the car park, got toddler out the car. No indication from the outside it was busy. Went in, stood beside the soft-play with an excited 3 yr old. Could see several empty tables, stood for around 5 mins to then be told by a waitress, sorry we are at maximum capacity. Then had to leave out passed soft-play back to the car. Simple solution, update facebook to say full or get a sign out the front visible for all parents! Helping us to avoid upset kids. Will not be back, as it looked very disorganised!

Don’t know where to start so many things went wrong! 30 minutes to take our order, 40 minutes to get a drink. Came back to say they had ran out of Dough Balls at 6pm on Saturday night. Gave us a menu to choose something else, then never came back for the order. 2 of 4 kids meals came out, didn’t get cutlery for 10 mins after that. 1 kids meals came out wrong by which time she wanted what the other kids had, so asked to change the meal which they did agree too. However 4th kids meal still hadn’t come out and didn’t come out until after the re ordered 3rd kids meal. 2/4 kids ended up crying due to the long wait, watching the others eat. Starters came out in staggered fashion, then they started bringing out the adult meals when we had just received the starters so we sent them back. Cleared half the tables starter plates before everyone had finished. Brought out mains again staggered then we were left waiting for the last adult main meal and they told us they didn’t have any left, so they had to order something else. Got offered free drinks but only 1 person needed a drink and quite frankly we had, had enough and just wanted to finish our food and go home. Got given a pizza box to leftovers home but no one came back with bill. Waited 15 mins to pay at the desk as no servers in sight. Did get discount off the bill as they were aware of the issues but unfortunately despite this we won’t be back. Soft Play also not big enough for Aged 12 as stated - was too small for 8/9 years olds but perfect for younger kids.

Turned away when there was practically an empty restaurant. Told the Softplay as at capacity which I couldn’t understand as I counted 3 tables of people in the whole place. I asked if it was worth waiting and maybe we could eat first and she said no. Maybe have a sign on the door when at capacity save taking the children in and seeing the Softplay as my autistic daughter was so upset after this experience.

Appalling service. Especially one member of staff was very rude from the beginning. She was going to send us back home while half of the restaurant was empty. Turned out the soft play was full which could be easily sorted out by letting us eat first. Other member of staff intervened so we managed to get in. Later on, the same member of staff who was rude in the beginning was snappy and warned us because one of the children spilled sugar on the table and was playing with it. This wouldn’t be a problem even in a normal restaurant, yet this is supposed to be a child friendly one. Two tables behind us, there were food all over the floor but she was somehow ok with it, so I really suspect her motivation. The manager was kind of apologetic when we complained about the situation but it was obvious that she was not qualified enough to settle the issue. Coming back home and seeing all the other comments, it is so obvious that they don’t care about customer satisfaction. Which is a shame really, the city needs more restaurants with soft plays like this. Unfortunately, we now have to cross it off our list.

It’s a shame and the girls who were on worked hard but they were short staffed by at least 2 maybe 3 people. Constantly had to ask to be served. We even ended up cleaning the table and floor ourselves . Pizza was ok for the price but could be more flavoursome. This review is by no means a reflection on the girls working but they were swamped and slow due to the lack of staff. Owners and management . You will lose good staff by penny pinching. We probably won’t be back

It was 4.30pm on a Saturday, the tables weren’t all full but it was chaos. Our drinks took ages to come then they were wrong. The dough balls starter took ages to come, they were undercooked. The pizzas took ages to come then one was missing and the margarita was burnt in the middle. If it weren’t for Jess being so lovely and trying her best we might have walked out to be honest. The kids enjoyed the play house.

Drove 45 minutes to go to this place as the website/Instagram said it was walk ins before 3pm. Arrived at lunch time with two excited kids only to be told it’s fully booked for kids parties yet they had nothing on social media to let people know about this. I asked if there was parties every weekend that booked it out and the response was “not every weekend”. How helpful?! To expect parents to turn up with kids on the off chance that it won’t be booked out is disgraceful. About 4 other families walked in and had the same response. Bad management. Funny thing is the place looked empty. Won’t be returning to give it another go. Great concept but not been thought through.

Avoid like the plague. Believe me I’m not just another angry customer - the service is borderline child abuse. My kids (2&4) were left starving as their food took 1.5hours. When asking for an update we were met with a sassy attitude saying ‘we’ve only just put it in the oven’ as if that’s somehow acceptable. Don’t open a kids’ place if you’re criminally unable and incompetent to do your job and look after those children. In the end they kids food came after 1.5hrs, and the rest of us had to take out food to go, only to then discover a bunch of mistakes with the food and receipt. Overall shocking and a waste of our lives and the disgustingly rude waiter needs to be fired.

Heard there was a play space opened so decided to try with wife and twin 3 yr olds. Unfortunately it shut at 6 but no issue. However service was generally poor. Staff seem hapless and often none are seen in the restaurant at all - no idea where they are. Example of failures include items missed from orders and delays for food, and for cutlery which you must specifically ask for after food arrives. Food itself not so bad. Seafood pasta and a kids pasta were great. Truffle pizza - doesn’t contain truffle. Ice cream - the really cheap stuff you had as a kid. Banana sundae - does not contain banana. All a bit odd. Tried to feedback to the manager but like the other staff, she was very young and just shrugged her shoulders. I guess this is what happens when owners leave a restaurant to be ran by a team lacking experience and/or motivation. Only mitigation is the place is very very cheap - we all ate, two alcoholic drinks, under £70.

We waited 15 minutes to be seated, despite having a booking so we just put our child into the softplay anyway as she was excited. Finally got seated by the 1 waitress who was working, needless to say we had to ask to order drinks. We had to go find our own cutlery, we had to ask for glasses for the water. When we wanted another drink, i just went next door to order as it was faster. Our side order of garlic bread never arrived but it was on the bill. We knew pizza dough had poor service from previous visits but this trip was abysmal. Such a shame, as they have a good setup but management clearly cant seem to get it right.

Wouldn’t return. Went for the soft play for a family meal as have a few young kids. About 5 people on front of house but nobody had a clue what they were doing. 95% of people in there were just drinking while there kids (out of sight) were in the soft play. Pure bedlam. Thought this was a restaurant. Sat in a booth and we were getting closed off getting out of the booth by another table moving chairs away from their table to out in front of the TV to watch football. So family meal with chaos and 15 people about 10 pints slurring and shouting at the football in touching distance next to a 1 year old in a high chair. Nobody with the foresight to think maybe they should be in the pub next door. Waitress didn’t know what was on the menu or what wasn’t available. Not a single dough ball in stock. Fresh pizza place with no dough balls? There’s only pizza and pasta on the menu. Food wasn’t hot. Pizza out of a pizza over 5 metres away turns up like warm. Weird. Didn’t bother trying to change. Just wanted to get out. Drinks orders turning up wrong. Wrong pizzas turning up. Not the Malhotra standard. Need to move an experienced person from elsewhere to get it sorted quickly or it’ll just become unsustainable when it has the potential to be something great.

I couldn't wait to sample this place as I loved the idea of combining a soft play with a pizza restaurant. Sadly the noise levels were unbearable despite the restaurant being only half full/empty. I signed a 2-sided T&C's at the check in desk, so I felt no time to read it as we just wanted to be seated, but I should hope there was something along the lines of keeping your kids screams to reasonable levels! It was like sitting outside a school play yard but worse, it was seriously unbearable and I'm used to soft plays. My child who really enjoys soft plays couldn't bare the noise levels (he has sensory) which was upsetting especially as I'd gone there for this very reason. That aside, we were sat far from the soft play entrance despite making a booking request for a table next to it. I noticed a 'Reserved' sign on a table opposite the entrance to the soft play and I wondered if this was meant for us? I asked but no one seemed to know yet it stayed unoccupied throughout my booking. Initially I wasn't happy considering but in the end I was glad due of the noise levels and it wasn't even half term, a weekend or at full capacity. Service was mediocre, no glasses were given with our water jug so I had to ask ten minutes later. Bill payment was requested before our pizza was even served which felt odd and rushed. Luckily the pizza was delicious. Sadly, I would hesitate to return.

We've had great take away pizza a number of times. The pizza dough is just right and the choice of toppings is wide and you get plenty of them. They're usually ready really fast too. We visited recently for the feed the family deal which is 2 adult and 2 kids pizzas (practically the same size as adults!) And drinks for all for £25 which is incredible value. To have such a good pizza place on our doorstep is great so we'll def be back for take away and to dine in.

This was our first visit since the reopening and it was a mixed experience. It was a Friday night and the restaurant wasn't busy. The decor and vibe was warm and pleasant. The girl who welcomed us, who was also our server, was polite and friendly. We ordered our pizzas and then waited a long time for them. A table that arrived after us and ordered after us, received their pizzas before us. When they came, the pizzas were excellent! Nice traditional thin bases with thick crust, such lovely dough. We ordered a margarita, pepperoni and Hawaiian. Plenty of toppings and all tasty. At the time of ordering our pizzas were hinted that we'd be wanting dessert. However our server was no where to be seen for a long time. Other tables were sitting with empty 'plates' too. When she did reappear she did not check on her tables. There was only 4 or 5 tables on her side of the restaurant. With there being a partition through the restaurant we couldn't see the other side, which was under the care of another server. Our server seemed more preoccupied with talking to the chefs and delivery drivers than attending to her tables. Once she came out of the kitchen area clearly chewing. I tried getting her attention several times but she avoided looking around the restaurant at the guests she was responsible for. I almost had to walk over to get her attention. Our concern was that we would be told that we can't have dessert because the kitchen is closed, despite us waiting approx half an hour to order them. Finally I managed to catch her eye and waves her over. Again she was polite and friendly, and helpful when I asked if she could recommend a dessert. It was helpful that she had tried the desserts I enquired about. Always good that the staff know about the food being served. We had the cookie dough and brownie - again excellent. Good portion size and delicious without being sickly. I'd like to return again for the food but the running of the restaurant needs some improvement.

This is the last time we will visit this place. The place is advertised as opening at 3pm. We turn up with a sign at the desk saying it’s now 4pm. 4pm comes but not one person in sight. We stand for 10 minutes and still no one to be seen. We ask in the bar next door and a young lady from that side attempts to serve us. We ask why there is no one about to be told she is the manager and has no idea as she has just got in herself. No apology at all. We ask for the advertised specials menu to be told every single thing on that menu is sold out. We order from the usual menu asking for the vegan sausage pizza but with the regular cheese instead of the vegan. It came with the vegan cheese which was returned and a standard margarita ordered instead. The bill comes with a charity donation already included which puts the customer in an embarrassing situation of needing to request it to be removed or pay it when you’d prefer not to. The place was empty and needs some professional guidance in front of house. The young folk that are serving lack the skills to run the place by themselves with no idea how to deal with a complaint. It all feels really unprofessional. We will not be back.

Our first time here, went on a Friday night after work for a quick pizza with the kids. We had a voucher for 2 pizzas and 2 drinks for 20 quid, an absolute bargain. The place wasn't busy but there were loads of pizza being made for takeaway so it took about 20 mins to get our pizzas. All the staff were attentive and friendly, happy to chat to the kids and gave them things to colour. They made the kids pizzas extra cheesy, no extra charge. The pizzas we had were really good, I would definitely go back and happily pay full price. they have some deals on over the school holidays, kids eat for £1 which is normally £7 for a kids pizza. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a nice pizza that isn't your big standard takeaway type.

Ordered drinks which took nearly 30 mins to arrive and when they did half were missing. We then waited 20mins for those to arrive. It was an event for kids and the staff took the food orders for the entire room at once, well they tried but missed out several tables. Eventually all orders were taken but it was painful sitting waiting for the food to come out. The counter infront of the pizza oven was full to the brim with food which just wasn't being sent out. Eventually some started to be taken to tables but then they ran out of the wooden plates they use. We could see table which had finished their food but no one was collecting the plates. Our table got served over an hour after placing the order, even then it came out so slowly half had finished before the other half came out. Then we had a wrong pizza and missing fries. The fries didn't come out until my daughter had finished her pizza and we were ready to go by the time the replacement event correct pizza came out. I felt very sorry for the guy who runs the Lego event as we were talking to him and he was totally disappointed in the organisation. It wouldn't have taken much to take table orders a few minutes after arrival and start to make the food instead of taking 60+ at once. When I went to pay the waitress looked very embarrassed when she pointed out the service charge added to the bill. I have never had a service charge removed before but even she admired the service and organisatio had been terrible. It's a shame as when I walked in I already wanted to return, different feeling when I walked out though.

Really mediocre. We went for the family £20 deal which in itself is a really good deal and good value for money. The pizzas were really nothing special at all and if this is the usual standard of pizza then I definitely won't be rushing back. I got the Margherita as the only other vegetarian option included in the deal was something covered in mushrooms and I'm one of those mushroom hating vegetarians! It was really basic! The dough was nice but kinda to be expected when it's coming from a proper pizza oven. That was the best bit about the pizza. The base sauce tasted like something generic value range from a supermarket, covered in loads of bland, tasteless cheese with a few sliced salad tomatoes thrown on for decoration. It was really basic and tasteless and I've actually had nicer from the likes of greasy takeaways. I'm hoping they maybe decreased the quality of the pizza to match the deal price, because if I had of ordered that pizza not on the deal and for full price, I really wouldn't have been happy. Another member of the family said their pizza was just "meh" too, again nothing special. Not the worst pizza in the world, it's edible, but there are far nicer pizzas out there! The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Really disappointed as I love the Three Mile and I loved Scalinis, I had high hopes for The Pizza Dough Co, but this isn't a patch on Scalinis. I'll still visit the Three Mile but I won't be rushing back for a pizza anytime soon!

I ordered a pizza tonight. It had a huge hair in it!! I could have thrown up. I rang the shop, total confusion. Such poor understanding. They suggested there was no history of my previous orders, I have ordered many times from this shop. I had wrapped the hair in kitchen roll, but unfortunately knocked it on to the floor and couldn’t find it again. Was offered another pizza which I 100% refused and I will never ever get one again. They hung up without saying Bye or anything. No refund.

The food was lovely and both Abi’s were lovely, friendly and worked hard to ensure we were comfortable, happy and had all we needed. Would recommend.

Food really good, served hot (usually cold/Luke warm at these outlets), staff friendly and dining area clean and tidy
