Authentic Pizza! Satisfied Every single time. I really wonder where they get their cheese from, its just wow!

Had margarita and penne ariabiata and both where amazing, Best italian

Never order from this place. This has happened very recently. The pizza was delivered extremely cold & the notes were completely missed! I had paid for extra pepperoni which was missing. horrible experience.. I generally don’t write reviews but I was extremely disappointed this time having paid hard earned money for something & the food arrives stale & icy cold. Order at your own risk

Terrible food order jacket potato with cheese and beans the cheese on top was burnt hardly any beans were put in and the potato had no taste whatsoever waste of money and food

Nice size pizza but quite bland, base with cheese tomato and toppings doesn't make a pizza it definitely needed oregano, salt and pepper and perhaps a bit of garlic powder, I also had 2 glasses of Fanta at £3.50 a glass and that's extortionate

UPDATED REVIEW: I have been to this restaurant in person now instead of delivery and the food is top tier, lovely staff and lovely enviroment.

The staff know how to make a pizza, has a 5 star potential but keeps coming undercooked for some reason

I ve ordered 2 pizza online and they were cold and not fresh,normally they were very good,but this time the food was not fresh and the temperature was not correct either and not tasty. Very unhappy 🙁

Great pizza in Barking! Don’t understand why such a low score on google. I have pizza at Di Legno at least once a month and I have never been disappointment with either the food or the service.

I had placed my order but was held up in collecting it... the staff had rustled up a fresh one even though it was my own doing, and gave me the initial pizza complimentary! Best pizza I have had in aeons!

Very overpriced for how bad it is . It used to be one of my favourite pizza places couple of years ago . Anyways . The rice dish was completely overcooked and mega salty. The pizzas were average at best . 100% not even wood fired oven it's electric. If you are looking for wood fired pizza avois this place . Thanks

I ordered 1 × small pizza alla diavolo (pepperoni) and 1 x fries on Uber Eats for delivery. Everything looked great and fairly authentic, and it was hot. However the pizza was so ridiculously SALTY I gagged and spat it back out on the first bite. I am under no illusions that cheese and pepperoni would be quite salty items but this was so salty it was INEDIBLE and would probably cause a heart attack. I thought it might just be the pepperoni so I pulled that off the slice and tried again but even just with cheese, tomato and bread I couldn't eat it. The fries too, I didn't ask for them to be salted but they were ridiculously salty too. I was so hungry I peeled the cheese off and dusted off a few fries and tried to eat a few slices of just the bread but the saltiness was still lingering around the edges and I gave up. £15 and still hungry, this is the worst takeaway experience I've ever had and I still can't understand why they would do this - that amount of salt has got to be lethal. When I was dusting off the fries it felt powdery rather than grainy so I wondered if they had decided to cover their food with MSG - but WHY?!!! Uber Eats would not even let me review let alone hear my complaint, but I think its important the neighbourhood is aware of my experience so here I am. I truly hope no one else gets this salt content, it's horrible and dangerous, and worse that I've been rendered powerless to do anything about it. Wish I could give zero stars, never again.

Absolutely poor food first pizza was under cooked with buffalo mozzarella but the replacement didn't have any buffalo mozzarella on it. When I called the restaurant the customer service was even worse

The worst pizza i’ve had, not just in my area but in the entirety of London / Essex area. Completely undercooked dough, asked for a recooked pizza to be delivered; only for a £5 cheaper one to be delivered. (Ordered Buffalo Mozzarella, got normal cheese & tomato). I think it was reasonable to ask for another pizza to be delivered. The driver asked for the undercooked pizza back. No issue, did that but seemed like it’s because they thought we were scamming them to get a free pizza? Quite ironic since they scammed us by giving us a cheaper pizza than what I ordered. I’d advise to avoid this restaurant, and i’m always willing to give small businesses a second chance. If they’d have delivered the new pizza correctly, i’d be giving 5 stars for their integrity & acknowledgement. Avoid.

Totally mesmerized with their hospitality as well as the food was freaking delicious.... Definitely I will continue my journey with them.

Absolutely lovely experience! Tucked away on Longbridge Road as an unassuming gem. Massive selection of authentic Italian pizza and pasta, a wood fire oven, and friendly faces. Loved the Quarto Stagione! I'll be returning here for sure.

Came here last minute for lunch with my son & friend. Looked super quiet inside but I have no idea why... the staff were fantastic & the food was delicious. Will definitely go back if i'm ever in the area again!

Good overall pizza & pasta. Disappointing Calzone, but decent Chicken/ Quattro Stagioni pizzas. Nothing too fancy, a nice place where you can get a snack from in East London.

The Focaccia, was so dry and flavourless, it was basically bread without anything. The arancino was not an arancino, a bad imitation not even close and it tasted very bad. I never complain about orders, never! but I really couldn’t eat these two items as I was starting to feel sick, the pizza was average. This place it’s far from being Italian(ish).

I had the Quattro Stagione, and it was DELICIOUS. The base was super thin and there was none of the usual sogginess in the middle, although for my liking, it could have had a minute or two more in the wood fired oven. And had the fridge been chilling the Peroni, it would have been 5 stars. That being said, I highly recommend.

This people use delivery driver from uber , Elena -Alexandra and she come just fake to deliver my pizza. Unfortunately I'm a night worker under CCTV and i can proof that the pizza was not delivered to me

Ordered from Uber eats pizza came cold. The mozzarella was not fresh at all the dough was not fresh either. Next day I was super I’ll this place is a joke I will never order from here you guys need to shut down our restaurant. 🤮

Italian pizza made with love mushroom mozzarella pepperoni in the wood oven is a must try. I had mine in the restaurant but they also do takeaway 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

I can gladly recommend this place, as I’ve been searching for pizza like the one in here everywhere in London, but unfortunately this might be one of THE ONLY places with such such a GOOD GREAT FRESH taste for not only the pizza but everything else as well. PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST PIZZAS IN LONDON. Ive been searching for the taste they have for years and none of the italian places or any places have their pizza as GOOD AND FRESH AND BRILLIANT as in here. I’m very picky with my food so trust me when I GLADLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

The food is not tasty, jacket potato is very dry, the cheese was burnt, tuna is very small, spaghetti carbonara contained enough sauce, but instead of bacon was a sausage, we were not delighted with the food and its taste

Took them over an 1 h to deliver , when you call them they are rude and hang up on you. Don’t even try , they are also lying on their name , as they are also called Sicily Pizza

This restaurant advertises as Halal, however when I spoke to them on the phone they admitted that only several items are Halal. The chicken cesar salad and some of the paninis are not Halal. This should have been made clear on Just eat and Uber eats as it is quite confusing and misleading. When I asked if they intent to remedy this situation, their response was 'these things take time', and they didn't seem particularly bothered.

From a 5 star place to being absolutely terrible. Massively gone downhill and a place to avoid now! My expectations of this place were not high but the quality and taste of the food far exceeded that. The pizza I ordered was very nice and amongst the best I have ever eaten (it was not authentic given the Bangladeshi influence but spiced very nicely) and I accidentally ordered risotto which I am not too keen on but their version I really enjoyed. Can’t speak about the other dishes but they’ll definitely get further orders from me. It’s great to be able to order decent Italian(ish) food in the area as that is a cuisine that is seriously lacking outlets in the surrounding areas outside the generic chain restaurants. They lack consistency hence Lowering to two stars as they have forgotten items when ordering for a delivery a few times and also delivery times can be triple what is originally quoted. Delivery times are always late and the quality has fallen off a cliff, time we looked for a new pizza place as Pizza Di Legno is absolute joke now! Avoid them and order elsewhere!

Disgraceful. An absolute disappointment, Ordered from deliveroo, and for an order that was supposed to arrive in 30 min took over an hour, cold food and no taste in it, as they were playing. They do not care about customers at all

We've ordered pizza and seafood, fish. Pizza might get 2 stars but the seafood and the fish was really poor quality and was undercooked. We will not order again.

It's a worst pepperoni pizza ever, l've ordered 12" pizza and after opening the box l did discover that its only contained 5 slices of pepperoni. I was gobsmacked and had to pay 11.99£ .Avoid if you can.

Ordered with Deliveroo, the most awful take away! They decided to let me know at least 20 min after my order that for some reason they couldn't make one of the item and offered me something else instead which I can not eat as contain meat ( the person on the phone wasn't even aware that arancini contain meat!!) I went for a pizza. Food arrived 1h and 30min after my order it was frozen cold already, on top of that it tasted off!! Not sure what but one of the ingredients in both the items were off I end up losing money and with no lunch Many thanks!

Don’t let the Italian fool you, this place is shocking. Bad base, bad sauce, just bad quality. Ordered the marinara and it was awful. It was like someone had just sprinkled a whole jar of dried mixed herbs on some tomato sauce and then cut garlic cloves in half and thrown them on top for good measure. To top it off the pizza was ice cold when it got here. Awful.

Who would’ve thought you could get authentic Italian pizza in Barking of all places and I’ve had pizza in Rome and Milan. But this is the real deal and leaves the local competition like Pizza Hut and Dominos trailing behind. To begin with, PIzza Di Legno use wood oven and their pizza base and toppings are miles ahead in terms of taste and authenticity. If you like Pizza you should definitely make Pizza Di Legno your first point of call, trust me you won’t regret it.
