LDF Chicken in Barking and Dagenham

Bought a three piece meal tonight Chicken was very dry and the coating had no flavour chips were hit and miss some were cooked and ok some soggy,it's shame as this used to be quite good in here probably won't go again

love the food, its so cheap and all of that, however the service is bad the cashier are so angry and unhelpful they give such bad attitude.

Honestly, It was really good, a couple of times I even got extra food, and the food was cheap for the amount you get, I liked it.

the lady gave me bleeding chicken wings and when i requested a refund she kicked me out of the shop, and threatened me with legal action if i ever came back. the fries were hardly fries, they were freshly cut potatoes put in oil for less than a minute

Yes food is ok but Hygiene and service is terrible. They prioritise their Pakistani customers always, serving them first and the last time I went, I ordered pizza and wings, waited 25 mins for my pizza and new wings to be fried and when it was fried, he served two other pakistani customers (the came after me) the wings and so no wings left for me. I got angry and walked out leaving the pizza Becuase the wings were for my 3 year old boy, we waited 25 mins to then be told sorry we’ve no wings from the batch we’ve just fried for you. This is terrible even more so because those wings he served to his Pakistani customers possible friends or relatives instead. On a visit before this incident I ordered pizza by phone and came to pick up and the same guy forgot to put my order in the kitchen! So I had to wait for him to do it which happens but you would expect him to prioritise me but no, he served several other (Pakistani) customers other items instead of getting on with mt pizza. And I was fasting that day (like the other Pakistani customers) and needed to break my fast at a certain time hence ordering plenty of time in advance but I was late! When this guy (the owner) is not there the service is fine. But why does he prioritise certain customers? Is this not racism?? Or maybe he is just too relaxed with a regular customer like me that he can’t be bothered? Well I used to order there twice a week often 3-4 meals but I won’t be anymore. I’ll go somewhere else where they treat all customers equally.

I have visited this place on a few occasions now, I guess I'm a regular now. My views are strictly on trying out their fried chicken n chips and strip burgers. Im surprised by some negative reviews from others i certainly have not received any poor experiences myself. I use to avoid this takeaway restaurant (don't know why probably I tried others first and parking in a busy area). However the day I tried them out I was impressed with quality and taste of their fried chicken (the other nearby chicken spots put too much spice or curry flavour), also you can choose what chicken piece you like, and choose as many, if you like drumsticks they'll give it to you if its ready. The fries taste good and strip burgers are tasty aswell. They take card payments and the owner is very attentive and always put customers first , been there a few times and when he was serving me, he got a phone call, told the person to hold and dealt with my order, now that's refreshing and so nice as a customer to feel valued. Honestly this place and KFC are my go to chicken spots in the area.. try them out I hope you agree with my views. Given them 5 stars based on customers service, ease of paying by card, and food is really yummy.

One of the worst food inhave ordered. Felt sick afterwards. Peri whole chicken bland, dry, with skin with chicken hair all over. Vomit inducing. Barbecue chicken old.horrible.and.just regular fried chicken with barbecue sauce put over, horrible. Chicken pieces old and uncooked. Sweetcorn just tasted like cheap butter, no juice.

Worst food I have ever had. I have ordered pizza, wings and chips and had food poisoned. My family also suffered from this food. I will not recommend this restaurant and food to anyone.

The chicken fillet in the chicken burger was 90% breadcrumbs barely any chicken and very small. Also the portion of chips was very very small

The Bengali guy at the till is very rude with no customer service!! His rude at any day anytime so I don’t blame him not getting enough sleep !! The owner needs to sack this person as he letting customers down and people are writing bad reviews due to this one individual.. please sack him.

The food is occasionally nice but not worth it due to the poor service. The man working there was completely rude, he gave me the wrong toppings on my pizza and when I told him about the mistake (hoping that he would understand and change the toppings) he immediately became angry and began to claim that he is always right and never makes mistakes! Maybe he was having a bad day but it was extremely unprofessional and rude how he completely dismissed the issue thinking that he is incapable of making any errors. You’d think restaurants and fast food places would value their customers, understand that mistakes are made on the workers’ behalf and try to fix them but this was not the case here. I left very disappointed with a pizza that I paid for but didn’t want. I have been to LDF in the past before this and there have been other issues (often with the same worker) but I decided to share my most recent experience.

Nice food at a good price point

The chips was so dry, no flavour no taste. The guy was touching up food with his bare hands made my burger with bare hands. At least put some latex gloves on for the sake of hygiene.

Their thin crust pizza is the best!

Pizza deal was a bargain. And their wings were really meaty !! What a find!

Bought BBQ Wings and tasted absolutely dreadful and the wings themselves were pretty hard and so were the chips very disgusting
