Ordered a delivery this weekend, it took 2 hours to arrive!! After ringing up twice , spent over £30 and it all went in the bin , it was disgusting!! This place should be closed down!!! , stick to direct pizzas

They lied to me. I ordered a pizza on the phone and they said their food was halal. But when I went to the shop, I didn't see any signs and it was the opposite

Ordered for delivery 1 hour 30 mins later nothing so rang up and the order had not even been started.

Great takeaway with friendly staff, large and diverse menu with items at very affordable prices. Everything is made fast and fresh with quick delivery. I would highly recommend the special burger and chicken and Donner wrap.

Every time I’ve ordered food has always been delicious and hot, the portions are big we tend to share a grilled chicken kebab between two of us, definitely recommend to friends 😊

Got pizza City special kebab I've never seen so much food from a takeaway and it was delicious

I ordered a chicken wrap with salad, ketchup,mayonnaise and some chips. There were flies everywhere and when I got my food I saw that the shawarma was literally half from what was expected(I ordered the same thing last week)...the chicken was burned and it didn't have any mayonnaise. Thank you.

New sote not working. Sais they do not deliver to hu9 as if you ring them they do. A lot of times you can not pay with card. Very good takeaway doing very disappointing things that stops you from using them.

Shocking service, after nearly 2 hours of waiting chased up the order to be told it was on the way half an hour later still no order and their claiming its been delivered and refusing a refund! Shocking service and looking at the reviews it's a regular occupancy!

Ordered the food after over a hour I called to get a update on our delivery the takeaway said it was getting done it was another 50 minutes before the order arrived the pitta bread was cold the doner meat was stone cold and chips was just warm we have ordered a few times from this take away but won’t be using again poor service and having to warm the food up in a microwave is not good

Usually the food is spot on, piping hot and quickly delivered. Last night unfortunately the donner kebab was stone cold, the pitta bread was broken into several pieces so could not eat it as a kebab. Very disappointing.

Very reliable,pizzas are always very good and apart from weekends(understandable),delivery is very quick.

Foods of good quality. And a favourite in the work place we order 100s of £s worth each month. Great value for money.

Kebab same as pizza was delicious. Youths same as us, grandmother and grandad was pleased with everything we ordered. Yummy. Good to have You just right on the corner.

Food was lovely, but it took 1 hour 27 mins for our delivery to arrive. Based on previous orders it usually takes 50 mins on a weekend. When I called (1 hour after ordering) I was told it would another 10 mins as they had changed the doner. We didn’t have an order with this on! However it took another 37 for the order to arrive. The website needs to updated to show accurate delivery times before you make your purchase.

Great pizza's, tasty, cheap delivery costs and unusual choices that are different from other places. Mines a 14" sumo pizza gorgeous. Certainly the place to go, on the east side of Hull.

Ordered a chicken kebab chips and garlic sauce last night ! The lady who took order got my address wrong 😑 so when eventually arrived it was cold 🥶 not the drivers fault he rang me to find out my right address ! Chips was soggy and also pitta bread was . Overpriced rubbish food

Pizza city is our go to pizza shop, food is always excellent , its piping hot and delicious every single time we get delivery or pick up, the staff are very nice great customer service, prices are very good top quality food every time without fail. I would recommend to family & friends.

Ordered tonight and after waiting an hour for food I rang up to be told it was on its way then after 2 hours had past they rang me up and said they had not got another drives to deliver to my area could have said that when I rang up so now have to wait another hour to get food from some where else will defo not be ordering from here ever again I have never had a problem with here b4 but before

I pop for a cheeky pepperoni burger or lamb shish kebab once every 2 weeks, they're always good quality, just had a 1/5lb pepperoni burger right now (with mozzarella cheese as standard), tasty and satisfying! Cheers guys! (nice staff here too)

have been using pizza city for many years due to thier location,and the food is adequate but was shortchanged with Turkish coins and despite many years patrioncy without incident , i was basically told I was trying it on, geed on by some 10 year old lurking in the door . left me feeling rpiped off before the England match with no cash for a beer n no burger(which I said to keep,along with my custom) after many years it saddens me to say,go to little hugos a few doors away. better food n not trying to rip you off with his mums change.

We have been loyal customers of the takeaway for many years, we have never had bad service yet 👌 the staff continue to grow and deliver exceptional service and the food is always fresh, hot and great tasting. The staff are belly to ground across tea time and whilst they try sometimes demands can't be upheld, delivery is an option along with pick up, if your wanting great food and not be disappointed consider pick up aswell as delivery to avoid disappointment, we do both for ourselves and for our kids, keeps smiley faces 😊 thanks to the team for all you do👌🍕🍔🍟🥙 Louise & Sanj

Special Calzone is amazing. Wife loves the chicken kebab. Pizzas are really good, Doner meat can sometimes be a little dry and grainy, but usually OK. Fair prices, good portions, tasty enough for us to keep using it! Update: new staff, better done meat! 😊

This place take on average 72 hours to deliver your food, not recommended if you’re hungry

My order was really poor in quality. Swimming in grease and had items missing. Delivered late by over 30 minutes.It was that bad I put in the bin after tasting it and noticing the grease which was half way up the metal tray in came in. Totally disgusting they be better off spending money on improving the food they sell rather than spending money on leaflets

5 pm Ordered food, 1 1/2 hrs they said. 2 hours later it still wasn't here. Rang again, they are just cooking it now! 2 1/2 hrs later still didn't come. Will never order again, very rude and they lie!

very unprofessional and rude!! .. I made an order of food (for my two young children) which consisted of a 10 inch pizza and a burger!.. i was patient enough to understand they may be busy until calling the takeaway when it was up to two hours late...to then be told on the phone it wasn't even in the oven yet!.. i call again 15 mins later to be told again it will be another 20 minutes.. the young GIRL on the telephone.. was very unprofessional also, screeching and swearing between the Phone call to which i imagine was the owner.. I asked for some of my money back as they claimed my food was already leaving and ready to go.. i asked for my refund of some monies to be given from the driver when he arrived to rectify the problem and for the long wait.. to be then told he doesn't speak good English..... he spoke perfectly well and understood every word i said 👏.. The takeaway has not in any way stated when i will get any refund nor an sincere apology for the delay... this isn't the first time this has happened but i gave them the benefit of the doubt having ordered last time some time ago.. what a mistake that was!.. To top it off the burger bun was solid and the food order was not worth the £13+ i paid.. Maybe staffing & professional qualities need looking into and maybe a mature member of staff would help! Aslong as theyr taking people's money they dont seem to have Any respect for their customers!!

Very bad customer service The girl over the phone doesn’t understand the orders and blindly writing the orders... 3 time their driver came just for one order and we got 3 items in 3 deliveries🤭 So funny

Sent 7 inch instead of 10 inch garlic bread who the hell orders a 7 inch garlic bread no receipt with the order so they have pulled a fast one

Generally the pizzas disagree with my and my partners stomach. Kebabs are OK but again same problem. As for there online ordering, it's a scam if ordering small amounts. They offer 10 % discount but add 50p service charge so in my instance its cheaper to go in there (or elsewhere). Staff still work if they I'll, sneezing and coughing, in front of house, really put me off. Good points though... They very local

Amid an abundance of pizza outlets in the town this one is extremely good with quite a wide choice of food to choose from. All what I've tried has been very good quality & of course freshly cooked. Kitchen is clean & tidy, staff are polite & friendly.

Ordered last night food was dry the kebab meat looked like it had been sat there all week it was dry and some was crispy, boyfriend ordered burger which didn't taste right n now he's poorly within 2 hours of eating this..will not be ordering again from here
