Pit Stop Cafe in Worthing

A classic greasy spoon with lots more to choose from to take away or eta in. Whilst waiting for my bike to be MOTd, I really enjoyed a perfect egg and bacon sarnie in white bread, with builders’ strength tea served with the confidence of someone who knows what people like that comes from many years in the restaurant trade. Highly recommended!

One of my most favourite places for breakfast. Good value Set Menus. Visit at lunchtime and try the specials board. My personal choice..........Bacon suet roll. Not your average 'Greasy Spoon'. A warm welcome every time. If you want fast food go to McD's if you want quality food...wait.

So we arrived at 1.50pm to be told the cafe closes at 2. Despite this, we ordered a baked potato with coronation chicken and a burger and chips. 2 bottles of water and a cup of coffee for £9.50.

Of several small cafes in the area this is the best, serving good home cooked honest food, excellent fresh coffee, and in a comfortable and unpretentious environment. Really enjoyed my lunch here.
