Avoid this place. Very dirty and can make you sick. I nearly died for food poisoning. Staff not washing their hands.

The staff were extremely rude and the food was poor and completely overpriced. I would not recommend this okace at all unfortunately!

Having been to this establishment a few times, ordering on behalf of family members, LabZtorm thought it was high time to make another order. The menu here is lit to the crisp; menu all the ingredients with a focus on vegetarian and halal eats. Meals are off the chutney and always lead to the purchasing of 2/ 3 whole chickens The costumer service always great and on service fantastic. The meals have helped get papers published and research disseminated regionally, nationally and broader society. LabZtorm reflections have come together in following online presentations and paper publications. Meals here lead to cheddar. Establishment is Don Peri-ChiZken!

I must say the fried chicken in this establishment should be commended. However, the service is extremely poor insofar as the staff are rude, and untrustworthy, stating that they do not accept card payments on orders under £5 despite the fact that my friend paid £4.99 by card just moments before me.

As per usual the chicken and chips were reasonably priced and the chicken was scrumptious however I was left miffed at the minimum card spend. I ordered 5 wings and chips which is priced at £4.99, I paid with my Monzo card and felt the buzz go through on the app. Moments later my friend orders 4 wings and gets his card out to pay to which he is told he can’t due to the £5 minimum spend. He questions this decision to which he is told it has to be ‘close’ to the minimum card spend. I am left with questions as opposed to answers, what are the rules?!?

I've had grilled chicken platter meals delivered from there and the it tasted good. However, I've been to the place a couple times in person, and I saw how they made their grilled chicken: they simply re-cooked their already cooked chicken breast from a chicken breast reserve. Also, I've had fried chicken from their twice. While the crust is nicely spiced and tasty, the second time I went, the chicken breast clearly tasted under-cooked or gone-off. I would not recommend coming there for fried chicken. Regarding the staff, they're quite rude and don't say hello when you say hi to them.

It's hard to put into words how much I love Piri Piri. It is without a doubt the greatest establishment in Clifton. Much love xoxoxo

ordered Mild food but got spicy as anything food and missing items and random other bits rung to say there’s a mistake and the guy who answered the phone was rude and abusive telling that i am wrong an absolute joke of a restaurant i wouldn’t go there again if it was the last place in on earth the beans were my favourite part of the order as pictured

Ordered 3 pieces of chicken with fries and a drink. £5.5 in total. The three chunks were tasty like KFC. Fries were crunchy, and the portion was great. Very filling meal. Service very fast.

The corn on the cob looked like it was cooked 2 days ago, its dry and burnt. lettuce was brown on both wrap and burger. chicken looked off. Bread was dry. We only ate the chips, rest we wouldn't even feed to our dog. I rung them 6 times to be hung up on 6 times.

Ate here twice now and for some strange reason they can cook and serve piri piri breast - no problem...but anything with leg=blood on the bone and under cooked meat. Saying that "no-one else has a problem" does not then make it o.k. Both times I was served with cooked breast instead so I don't mind, but definitely I wouldn't order a delivery from here

Well my final night shift of the week, so decided to smash in some chicken. Looked on Just eat at various options and after midnight this seemed the best for delivery. There was obviously a minimum order, but rather than mess about with a few small orders to make the price up I ordered: Classic Bucket £14.99 6 Pieces chicken 10 hot wings 2 Large fries Large Bottle of drink I was delivered 1/2 hour before the stated time which was great and the chicken was hot. It was good chicken, good meat, good skin..what more do you want from a takeaway chicken. Would I order again...YES

The best chicken anywhere! The other stuff is good although I don’t like having to have the bottle of Pepsi as part of the deal. The sit in part looks pretty awful - plastic chairs and table in a seedy dive - but that chicken is amazing!!! Order one of the platters through justeat or someone - it’s totally worth it!

Ordered food through ubereats at 11:15 pm three burger meals expected to arrive at 11:45, only to receive a notification at 11:50 to say the order had been cancelled. After calling the restaurant directly we are told the store has run out of beef burgers so could not fulfil our order, we then decided to change to box meal burgers which were meant to consist of a double chicken burger three strips fries and a can each. The order was then processed and we were expecting it to arrive at 1,when it came to 1am no sign of the delievry we tried to chase up the order but the place did not pick up after a few attempts. In the end, the food arrived at 1:30 am, with missing strips, single fillets burgers and barely warm fries. We had spent 7 pounds and at this point wanted to call the restaurant but decided it was not worth the hassle again. All three of us then needed to use the toilet within 20 minutes of eating our meal to add insult to injury. Bad service,terrible food. AVOID.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in Bristol, we always order no 15 which is piri2 chicken fillets and loads of chips. We always enjoy the delicious lunch at Piri2 Corner!

I ordered the normal fried chicken without the piri piri sauce, it was pretty tasteless. But the only consolation was the big portion that, unless I'm really hungry, I really wouldn't pick this as a first place.

We were really hungry and we just strolled upto this place which was empty, the person at the counter could bared speak English, however we managed to order our chicken and fries and a drink, it took them around 10 mins to make the order, what wasn't great that the chicken they used was frozen and not fresh and that we could feel in the taste while having it, the portion was large but we didn't really release she it in the taste. I would give it a pass and not keep it in my list of restaurants to visit in Bristol, we surely have much better choice at the same price.

If you're thinking this would be a cheaper alternative to another famous peri peri restaurant - don't bother. The staff don't care and the food isn't good. They have one job, peri peri chicken and they can't get even the basics right.

Very nice and "hot" Piri Piri chicken wings with spicy taste. This restaurant is located very close to the University of Bristol. Service was quick.

AVOID this place like the plague. Their staff dont care especially the night time staff. They refused to give me a refund despite giving me the wrong food.

It took 2 live chats with Just Eat support and almost 3 hours for my food to arrive, and when it did it was completely wrong and stone cold. I will be asking for a full refund. Avoid this place like the plague.

The whole lot was cold and the chips were soggy and it needed to be heated again. The chicken was actually really quite tasty and the portion sizes were good. DONT ORDER FROM HERE! The service is really bad, they have hidden delivery costs which the driver will ask ou when he delivers. The driver asks for heavy deliver fees even if you order more than 10 pounds when it is supposed to be free. Maria who works there argues and threatens if the delivery not paid. Really bad service, fries are saggy as well. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

We ordered 1/2 Piri Piri chicken meal deal, 5 wings meal deal, a mini fillet and a wrap. When ordering, the lady who answered couldn't speak proper English and it took a while just to tell her our address. She was very rude and pushy. 1 hour and 20 minutes later, we called to say we don't want it anymore as they had taken too long and we were not going to eat cold food because of their poor delivery service. The man I spoke to mumbled something and hung up. About half an hour later, the driver called us to say he was lost, despite cancelling our order. I can't imagine how long it would of taken if we didn't cancel it.It's a real shame because the food is often really nice.

So we ordered our food at 8:15pm and was told that it would be a 45min wait. It got to half 9 and the food still hadn't arrived so we rang up, and they explained the food would be no longer than 15-20mins. 9:45pm came round and still no sign, so we called again and they said it would only 5more minutes and then hung up the phone despite us trying to get a reasonable explanation. So 11:15pm came round and still no sign of any food..I called again and the lady on the phone explained that the delivery driver was new and didn't know where he was going. Finally the delivery driver arrived at 11:45, and was very apologetic and very helpful. I called up the take away again to explain that we had received the food and that the delivery driver obviously hadn't left an hour ago as the food was piping hot. I also stated that we wouldn't be ordering from them again, to which he just put the phone down on me again! All in all a horrific experience!

not only were they an hour late, they tried to charge me an extra £2 for delivery because i was to far away. The food arrived cold, and mangled beyond recognition. Didn't have time to order from anywhere else as by this point my little boy was really hungry. When i called they basically said that it was my own fault as i lived too far from the take away. Bunch of cowboys. Oh, and their driver didn't even come to the door, i had to go outside and yell to where my house was!

Me and few friends visited this restaurant, we placed a big order as we where very hungry, chicken was ok nothing special, chips was rock hard, very surprised they had 4 star rating for food hygiene, the place was in a mess. Ordered milk shakes after the meal, which wasn't even milk shakes, it was just thick chocolate. Meal come over £55 for 4 people considering its a fast food restaurant. Waist of money. Won't be returning any time soon.

I have never had a worse take away, the chicken was so greasy even though it wasn't even battered, the chips were cold and the wrap was wet and had a very odd flavour would never order from here again.

Was expecting peri peri chicken, got fried chicken. Driver called me to ask me to come out to his car to collect food. Food was completely different from what I ordered. May have been given wrong order, or may just have been wrong full stop. All in all, dreadful experience. Won't be using again. I do love their piri-piri chicken, which is very tasty and cooked so that the chicken is still moist.However, I ordered a delivery last night at 19:21 and was told that it would take between 30-45 minutes. Over an hour later, no sign of delivery so I rang and told it would be "15...max 20 minutes".The driver showed up 25 minutes after that call (2105). Total wait time = over 1 hour and 40 minutes.While I appreciate that delivered can't always be immediate, I expect that businesses to give me an honest evaluation of how long something will take. Telling me 30-45 minutes and eventually delivering in 1 hour 40 minutes is simply not acceptable.There was no apology on the phone when I rang up to chase nor from the delivery driver. Some other businesses I've had deliveries from would have also thrown in a freebie or two as a small gesture.If I had known from the start, then I wouldn't have placed the order and gone somewhere else, but they were obviously still hoping to take my money by being dishonest. Note that this is why my 'value' rating is so low, as I placed greatest value in getting my food in a reasonable timeframe.Maybe I would go back for some takeaway, but never again will I try to use them for delivery.

I wish I could rate this takeaway zero for all categories. Items missing and they said, "Will replace them next time!" without saying when that next time would be. Had to request Just-Eat Support to intervene. The missing items arrived an hour later when we all went out already. The driver also expected us to come out and find him at a street nearby because he couldn't be bothered to get out of the car. Seriously, avoid this takeaway at all cost!

The food was ok but I had to phone the restaurant three times to chase up my order. At first the restaurant claimed I hadn't placed an order, or suggested that maybe I had ordered from somewhere else by mistake. In the end someone sorted it out and I received my food after two and a half hours. Amusingly the delivery driver told me that I needed to pay, despite the fact I'd paid by card already online.

Incipid soggy chicken. Worringly pale in colour and slightly pink. ate about two mouthfuls each and rest went in the bin. £20 of our hard earned money wasted. Dont know if the shop in Easton is the same company (same name) but they are 10 times better. Shame this place is not the same. Avoid.

Delivery driver got lost but nice enough guy. The food? The chicken was nice, the chips were not crispy but they were edible. Coleslaw was very mayonnaisey which wasn't great. Big portions compared to similar places so you get your money's worth.

Full marks as far as I'm concerned, the lack of chips on the menu except as part of a meal is a bit puzzling but I can't fault the food. It was utterly delicious, chicken strips and lamb both cooked to perfection and full of flavour. You will not be disappointed.
