Pino’s Warung in Brent

Chicken satay EXCELLENT - chicken thigh beautifully tender and smokey from being cooked to perfection over charcoal. Incredible sauce more like a sweet teriyaki inspired sauce than say a Thai peanut sauce. Delightful, highly recommend. Served with dense rice cubes which added nothing to this otherwise perfect dish. Peanut crackers were a star addition to dip into the delicious satay sauce. Highly recommend. Beef rendang has chunks of non-fatty beef in a not-so-sweet sauce served with a generous portion of rice.. I think not enough fat in the beef. For me its better very slow cooked over a long time so that the fat melts but does not dry out the beef and then shred the beef. Nicely located off the beaten track. Food is excellent. Service understandably slow. Very limited places to eat this street food and all served is disposable containers and cutlery. Quite expensive for street food. Can't wait to try their sister restaurant Toba and I will return to Pino's Warung. Both places come recommended to me by an Indonesian as the most authentic food in London.

I sat down on the table outside this restaurant with my 8 year old daughter while we waited for my husband to come and choose what he wanted to order. The owner was so rude and came over and told us the seating is for customers only. I tried to explain I’m waiting for my husband as I wasn’t sure what he wanted to order. But I found the owners attitude so rude that I changed my mind about ordering from his restaurant and we left. This restaurant has many tables and most were empty. He had no customers waiting to sit while we were there. Really unnecessary rudeness.

Wait till you taste Pino's magic recipes. I spent a month in Bali and the food he creates in London is better than any I ate in Indonesia. Best of the Best. Thank you Pino and team for always making my meals so enjoyable and healthy! I will be back to enjoy again next Month! FYI he is opening a resturant in Feb 2023! Cannot Wait!

If you love beef rendang you will love this place. You'll struggle to find a more authentic tasting dish. Just delicious. Really lovely people too.

Visiting Camden Market happened across Pino's Waring Indonesian, so had to try the Beef Rendang, as hadn't found a place that sells this dish for quite a while. Was asked and the spicy homemade chilli sauce was placed at edge of bowl served in. Comes with boiled rice, jackfruit (that's unexpected). The chilli sauce certainly left a lasting tingle and brief breakout of sweat, bit not profuse, so not too hot. Coconut flavoured sauce was delicious, probably helped cool the chilli sauce. But you are probably asking, how good was the beef. Well, for the most part it was very tender and easy to pull apart, as advised it had been cooked overnight. However, unfortunately the last chunk of beef proved to be a little tougher to pull apart. Overall a satisfying and filling dish. Plenty enough for late lunch. Will certainly bear in mnid when next back in London.

My favorite food in Pino s is Siomay and Satay Ayam .. they are delicious ! Pino’ s is the place to go if you want to eat traditional Indonesiqn food ! i used to live in Jakarta for some time ..so going to Pino s reminds me about the local warung taste ! if you have a chance to meet Pino, he’s always friendly and very helpful on the dish to choose ! in conclusion Ayo Makan ke Pino s Warung !!

I wish I could eat at Pino's every day and night ! I ordered food for lunch, ate at the resturant then ordered more food to bring back to my hotel as it was so delicious and I wanted to eat it for Dinner. Not only did I enjoy it for dinner, I had the rest for breakfast. Indonesia comes to London. Delicious balance of spice that you can order as you prefer. This is a Must Enjoy when in London. You and your family will be impressed with the quality and great value !

Real authentic Indonesian Street food has finally arrived in London. One bite of the Gado Gado took me back to my time spent in Pasar Baru (Jakarta). OMG! The Satay on sticks is bombastic (wow!!). Pino Warung is the best kept secret in Camden Market. When you see His Excellency the Indonesian Ambassador to the UK, eating at Pino Warung, you know the food has to be the real deal. Chef Pino is an incredibly warm and friendly individual. He takes time to meet, greet and connect with everyone. A special shout out to Alex (amazing attitude of serving customers with love and concern). Hurry on to Pino Warung before they run out of their special drink called Chendol. Pino Warung is waaadu bagus skali (the best). Thank you Chef Pino for giving me the joy of Jakarta in London. Teri maa kasee.

We ordered take away of 10 boxes nasi Rendang . Hmmm the rendang is cold and far cry from Rendang Padang taste.I think more likely rendang Malaysia. The bakso? So so.

If you haven’t already tasted the Satay Chicken, you need to try them they are finger licking delicious!!! While in London, if you’re looking for an authentic Indonesian street food, THIS IS the place to go! I highly recommend. This place is definitely worth a visit. The portion is quiet big for the price you pay. No doubt, I’ll continue to keep coming back for more.

Just had the best ayam sate and tempeh mendoan with its fiery chilli for lunch. It’s perfect food for our current cold wintry weather! Do check out Pino’s other authentic Indonesian dishes - beef rending, bakso and gado gado. If you are not near Camden market, use Uber Eats to order. Its hard to find a real taste of indonesian food, but PINO’S WARUNG is The best authentic indonesian food that i’ve tried here in London!

Of course it is authentic because Pak Pino comes from Sumatra. That said to be able to produce such flavours here in UK says much for the efforts made by Pak Pino to cook such wonderful food. Having spent much time in Indonesia I can really vouch for this as can my wife who is Indonesian. We really loved the food and enjoyed chatting with Pak Pino - a very friendly guy. Food portions were generous too and the beef rendang was so tender. Prices seemed fair for a popular London venue. So if you’ve never tried Indonesian food or miss it after holidaying there there, visit Warung Pino - you’ll love it.

We had the Bakso, the Rendang and the Satay and all three were delicious (although the rendang was especially delicious!). Pino is very welcoming and preparing the food with love and care. Do not miss it if around Camden!
