We nipped in to avoid a rain shower and ordered a latte and americano - both absolutely delicious. Don’t usually leave reviews for coffee, but these were exceptional. Very friendly service too.

This place was not the best sandwiches we have ever had, and the price didn't match what was received. The Ruben was skimpy, and the ham sandwich had more pickles than ham. We were disappointed.

From the outside, I was looking forward to a light snack in a nice part of the town. Poor on all fronts, especially the coffee. Not sure if the staff were happy to be there. Could be so much better but a really depressing experience and will not return on next visit to Glasgow nor do I recommend.

We stopped in for a bite of breakfast and had a hot filled roll and a coffee. Excellent, friendly service. We sat in the window and watched the world go by. Loved the artwork on the wall; a quirky perspective of Glasgow. The coffee was really good, bacon rolls were delicious and the roll was lovely and soft. Loved the eyecatching coffee pack display in the window. The sandwich menu was really comprehensive, and mouth watering!

I liked this place, it's just a bit different and how a sandwich place should be. There is a great range of made on the spot sandwiches, big, hearty and really tasty. Great staff, good location and a place to sit in and enjoy. We had jerkoff pork filling and it was plenty for two of us. Bound to be popular.

Quite easily the best sandwich place in the city. I always get the chicken ole and have been going here for a few months now. Can’t recommend it enough.

Love Piece, go here regularly for my morning breakfast. They do special breakfast deals before 10am! Staff are always friendly.

I come here at least once a week for a nice takeaway lunch. The staff are absolutely brilliant, and makes the experience of Piece so much more unique! Be prepared to chat away about your weekend plans and how your day is going, whilst you wait for your sandwich. It does get busy after 12, but go a bit earlier and the queue is not too bad at all. Definitely a Glasgow institution.

You need some strength to pick up the sandwich. They are fantastic. A little privy but they are more of a meal than a snack. Fantastic choice and fantastic staff

Just love it. The staff are great, food fresh and the sandwiches tasty and inventive. I find my myself going out of the way to pop in, and that is a good sign indeed!

I work nearby so it’s easy enough to come here for lunch time food. The sandwiches are quite unusual, and a decent size. The queue can sometimes be a pain, and it’s expensive, but I like the sandwiches and the staff are super friendly.

When this place first opened I loved, loved it! But each time I'm back now I fall out of love just a little bit more. Most visits there is one ingredient that is unavailable in the sandwich I ordered, which is very frustrating and when it is something as simple as almonds which don't exactly go out of date quickly it is annoying. The ciabatta rolls are decreasing in size every week, but the same price. The queue is often just horrible, with a typical visit taking 15-20 minutes now, if the staff did less chatting and more sandwich building it would help, I'm all for being happy at work but honestly it is almost taking up too much of my lunch hour to bother. It seems that since the guy, who appeared to be the manager, has left, the service has gone downhill. Having said all that the sandwiches are tasty and a good choice. The standards just need to be taken back up to what they were.

This is a great place. So many tasty options for sandwiches which also work as a salad option! With great staff and tasty coffee to boot, this should be everyone's go-to for a tasty lunch in Glasgow.

I was visiting the Riverside museum with my four-year-old son and I just wanted somewhere to sit and have a bite to eat. The staff were very helpful and friendly I got a bacon roll which was just right and a nice cup of tea. My son had some toast and butter along with some snacks from home. The view of the tall ship is really the best part of the cafe although I was pleasantly surprised to see they do serve alcohol during the lunch service. I've included pictures of the menu to help others.

Very disappointed and confused as to when this tea room is actually open until. It seems to be whatever mood they’re in. When you Google it says they close at 5:30 on a Thursday and on trip advisor, open until 6:30 on Thursdays. I was with 1 friend and along with 6 other possible customers we proceeded up the stairs at 5:05 to be told they were closing early today? Was it just that day or in general when open until 5:30 they close at 5:05? We said we only wanted a cup of tea no food and would be done by 5:30 but not interested. If you go into a shop or supermarket that closes at 5:30 they are open to 5:30 not 5:05 very unusual managing of a business.

A great location and full of goodies you would not find at weight watchers! Went for two lattes with sides of vic sponge and a Bakewell tart. Thought the tart was a little too wet. Coffees were fine, but what makes me quite cross is when you get dirty cutlery. Photo attached. The detail separates the amateurs from the professionals.

I have got to be totally honest here. The staff were absolutely fantastic 11/10 but the food was inedible. I mean really bad. The chicken burger although it was very big....was bad. Funny texture.....one of the worst I've had anywhere. The curry was very bland and watery. The steak pie thing was.....I actually doesn't know what to say......I'll stick to real...bad. Absolutely go for the alcohol as they do good offers and it's cheap. The staff honestly just couldn't have been better. Also brilliant with dogs. For food I just couldn't ever recommend.....so so soooooo unfortunate :( x
