Pie Minister in Lambeth

Hands down the best chicken and mushroom pie ever! Crust was tender and not soggy at all. There was a lot of chicken in the filling. Ate it while walking around the market. It was so good I went back and got a second one to take away!

Probably the best pie Ive ever tasted. Highly recommend trying the steak amd stilton cheese pie. We had them at Borough Market and they cost £5 or pay £6 to have it warm.

The bottomless brunch was very good! Quick service, free flowing drinks for the 90 mins and great food! Would highly recommend. Tom and Amy were exceptional - extremely welcoming and friendly!

We had delicious pies with mash, minty mushy peas, gravy for lunch today. The pies were packed with steak, chicken and were excellent value. Highly recommended.

Orederd pie mash peas and gravy ...came cold pie sat onto of mash ???? Had to scrape mash off bottom of cardboard box ? As for gravy under half a cup ?? Very stingy this meal was not cheap mind. Nothing like the photos .waste of money .meat was plenty and okay tasting but that's it. Presentation horrendous. Gravy ration. And who said to throw pie ontop of mash ???? In a box. Dont regret a lot of food but this I do .if it was fiver wouldn't have left review but 13.oo pound ..wouldn't eat again from here and havnt recommended to friends or family this is my own personal experience with them .

Fantastic selection of pies with many different fillings... some quite unusual but worth a try, when the weather is nice the market is quite busy, but has a good vibe

This very small food outlet is so easy to miss been part of several restaurants in a small square next to Thames southern embankment walk. Worth popping in as they do a wide range of hot pies and seasonal ones as well. Just the right size for lunch. You can have peas & gravy well. I had the beef one as if was full of meat so well done. A small number of benches outside if you wish to “eat in” Great service and just the pie was only £5 so good price considering location

Always make a point to grab a Pie Minister Pie when in town. Love their “mothership” style which is mash, peas, gravey, onions and cheese. Every pie we’ve tried has been lovely.

Adam the waiter was beautiful! Further known as kitty but he was honestly so attentive and always had a smile on his face. His manners where impeccable and always did everything he could! Asset to the team!!!!

Lots of tasty options, but I went with the classic meat pie. Full of meat with a perfect crust, it was good and filling. Order up the ‘mothership’ to add mashed, gravy, and mushy peas. Great meal. Get yourself in the lineup and get your meat pie on! They only take cards....no cash.

Leckere Pies, in vielen unterschiedlichen und außergewöhnlichen Variationen. Auch vegan und vegetarisch. Preise empfand ich als angemessen. Jedoch war ich morgens kurz nach der Öffnung am Stand. Ursprünglich hatte ich mich für eine Pie mit Beilage entschieden, die jedoch noch nicht fertig war sodass ich daraufhin am Stand wartete. Jedoch konnte ich hier beobachten dass der Kartoffelbrei aus einem großen Plastikbeutel in einen Topf geschützten und dort erwärmt wurde. Ich weiß nicht ob der Kartoffelbrei selbstgemacht und zum Transport nur in einen Beutel gefüllt wurde oder ob es sich um ein Fertigprodukt handelte. Dennoch entschied ich mich dann doch dazu, nur die Pie zu nehmen. Diese war geschmacklich sehr gut.

Super spot de pie and mash à emporter. Divers choix de pie au bœuf, poulet, fromage (option veggie). Sides a ajouter avec un prix dégressif (mash, beans and mint, gratted cheese, crispy shallots). Si on prend tout compter 8 pounds: de succulentes pies à prix tout doux! A noter, plusieurs spots de cette « licence » sont disponibles à Londres, je recommande spécialement celui de Borought Market!

Pedimos duas tortas uma de carne, com lentilhas, cogumelos com molho de vinho tinto e outra de frango com funghi e molho branco. As duas vinham acompanhadas com purê de batata e um molho por cima das tortas quentinhas. Caso quisesse levar para casa não levava os acompanhamentos e elas ficavam 5 libras, se fossem quentes com dois acompanhamentos eram 7,50 libras. Muito boas, eram grandes e suficientes para uma boa refeição.

Unlike the cafe at Gabriels wharf, at this pieminister stall we were greeted with a smile and we're very happy with our vegan pie and mushy peas! Very nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon browsing borough market and ending here for a refuel.

We love a good pie, who doesn't? But what we love the most are pies from Pie Minister. The crust is perfect, the fillings are properly seasoned and the gravy is very good. Go for the Mothership style, you won't be let down. Worth a visit for sure!

I went to the Nottingham pie minister (can't find it on TripAdvisor) but it was really good. Fast friendly services, food came pretty quick, presentation very nice, gravy very nice (I'm usually fussy with gravy) and the pies were better than we could have anticipated....
