Fabulous family run cafe with great food and wide selection of drinks. Strongly recommend the sausage rolls and cakes are like your mum made. Full English makes a great start for your day.

6 of us decided to go here for a breakfast before visiting the Xmas markets. We were staying down the road for the weekend and passed this little cafe so decided to go for breakfast. We wish we had walked further. £11 for a full English. Plate half empty, everything served cold, poor quality food. We all agreed it was the worse breakfast we had ever experienced and we all live in different areas and meet up every December. The sausages were anaemic and poor quality, 2 of the fried eggs had egg shell left on them, bacon was rubbery, mushrooms looked purple?????? All was cold. The tea was hot and the best part of the breakfast and the young waitress was lovely. I think everything is microwaved. Would recommend you walk on by and don’t go in

We had only just arrived in Bath and walking towards the centre. By luck this was the first place we saw to recharge after a 160 mile drive. What a piece of fortune, great food and simply the best millionaires shortbread I've ever eaten. But mostly what was so impressive was the friendly owners. Nothing was too much trouble and lots of tips and interesting knowledge of how best to make the most of our stay in Bath. Helped made our stay in wonderful Bath. If we lived locally we would use this Cafe often. The world would be a better place if we called all be this friendly to strangers. The jokes on the boards outside are also a nice touch :) When we return I will be back for more shortbread.

Wonderful service, breakfast and people. Scrambled eggs were amazing as was the bacon - staff courteous friendly and nothing too much to help. Sat and met local people and they help local charities.

We call in to this lovely little cafe at the end of a walk. The service is always friendly, quick and efficient. The food is simple but really lovely. When we have a sit-in coffee my fury best friend is often given a pork sausage for best behaviour. Needless to say, she knows exactly where to go for her favourite treat. If you like good food and cheery banter, this is the place for you.

Visited here for breakfast on Thursday morning with our dog. Great service and a very decent set up. Home made cakes and really decent ingredients. I had the breakfast sandwich with bacon, sausage and egg that was so tasty. Would highly recommend to others in Bath and it was highly popular too, which speaks volumes.

Visited here with some friends before we went for a stroll and play in Vickly park.It certainly serves better coffee than you can get from the cabin in the play park, but the best in Bath? Hum not sure about that. Nice range of food to eat in or take away and prices not too bad, especially enjoyed my bacon and egg baguette. My only moan, the place is so small, you keep on bumping into people waiting for their orders or sat at the few tables, as you move away from the counter to make way for the next order.

I have friends who live nearby and have wanted to try this place for a while, so an early morning rain shower en route to the friends was perfect. Lovely friendly gentleman and lady serving/working there and from the attitude of two workmen who came in for takeaways while I was there, it is clearly a friendly place generally. I only had latte and cake, but it wasnt overpriced, in fact the cake was excellent price and one of the nicest Lemon Drizzles I have ever had. Lovely and moist but fluffy too and gorgeously tangy. And only a short walk from my regular haunt in Bath!

A small, atmospheric venue with amazing and attentive staff. Have to call up the restaurant for a booking and easy to let them know of any allergie/intolerance/dietary restrictions(quite accommodating as well!). The 7 course surprise menu lived up to the mystery, the bread in a bag with soup is all I want to eat all the time now! (Pictures will be added) We also had an amazing, sweeter orange wine, it went really well with all of the dishes. We had a voucher and only spent £40 on the bottle of wine, but I do believe it is £100 per person.

Straight forward simple food at very reasonable prices and plenty of space to sit and enjoy. Very nice to be able to find a cafe in such a central position in Bath without the usual high st chain paraphernalia.
