We ate brunch here yesterday (a Saturday morning at 9.30ish) and it was great. Tasty food (veggie brunch, smoky beans on sourdough, and a bacon and egg bap), excellent drinks (deconstructed tea (so could be made to the drinker's liking, yay), mocha, oat mocha), friendly and speedy service. Nice location by the water slightly away from the city hubbub.

Love this cafe, very unique staff always pleasant and coffee hot. Perfect unique setting by waterside, also food very good

Lovely cafe/restaurant with a decent menu. Superb location by the water to watch all the activity in the harbour. Food delicious. Loses a point as the staff were rather sullen, cheer up guys, things are on the up, you are open again and we love visiting you :) .

As regular visitors to Pickle, We had a very disappointing visit today. Went for breakfast with a group. Asked to move table as not Allowed to serve food on table on side. Drinks arrived and weren't right. Waiter rude when we inquired why someone who sat on the table was served food when we had been told we couldn't. Response was rude. Waited for extended time to get waiter to come and get order for additional person who arrived, waiter never arrived. So disappointed we phoned Lockside, booked Table and walked around there and had a glorious breakfast. Sadly won't be back. Poor service, slow, rude staff.

El personal está haciendo todo lo posible para lidiar con todas las regulaciones de Covid, incluida la asignación de una mesa para que sepan que se cumplen las reglas de seguridad y que vengan a tomar su pedido. Comida recién preparada (las sopas son especialmente deliciosas) que bien vale la pena esperar y excelente café y pasteles hechos en el lugar. ¡Incluso bajo la llovizna, seguiré felizmente sentado afuera con esa vista!

Would happily review if somebody came to serve the table. I was looking forward to the tasty food, nice coffee and nice setting however after 15 minutes and nobody taking a drinks order. I went elsewhere.

Pickle closed early in 2020. It was taken over by a different concern until lockdown. A cafe has recently re-opened after easing of lockdown, but I have not tried it. Closed on Mondays, not sure about Tuesdays (I don't think they have made up their mind). Open 1000 until about 1600 on weekdays - longer at weekends.

This is a really unique cafe, set on the wharf the waterside cafe serves lovely breakfast rolls & sandwiches, top quality ingredients and an excellent choice of breads, was very busy on a Sunday morning so service was a bit slow and it’s not cheap !

The place looks lovely and the woman who took food orders was lovely. However, I ordered an ice cream in a cone and was given an upended broken ice cream cone in a cup. There was no explanation and it appeared to be someone’s rejected ice cream. No one else got served that. The man didn’t even explain. I should have said something but it was crowded and I didn’t want to cause a scene. They might want to talk to that member of staff about basic customer service. I have now amended my review as I received a lovely response from the owner. I therefore think that this was a one off experience rather than reflecting the place in general.

Every time we're in the vicinity of Underfall Yard we make a beeline for Pickle. Excellent quality food with some interesting twists and very friendly staff!

Excellent value food and drink at this delightful Café. Great views across the harbour. Reasonably priced food. Definitely worth a visit.

My husband and I often walk around the harbour side with the dog on weekends and always go to whapping wharf for breakfast but thought we would try here as lovely Venue. Sadly that was the only thing going for it... the view. No brown bread, just white or a cold brioche bun, the egg in roll looked like it had been sat on, my husbands so called “Brat” bun was awful too .the coffee bitter and nothing special. Sadly needs a new lease of life... what i would do to take over this place as an X cafe owner and turn on the wow factor. Sorry Pickle

Quick stop on bike ride - Pickles has both a historic setting , interesting dockside views and a good cafe-style menu. Freshly made drinks and food although I only stopped for coffee ☕ and cakes today. The others resting a while were certainly tucking in to some decent looking sarnies etc prepared in the the open fronted kitchen. Friendly service too. Recommended.

It’s got to be the best place to view the Bristol harbour and all of its activities! The food is great and service very attentive! A must visit!

Great food, cheap, amazing views. Need more seating inside (mezzanine?) Also brollies outside due to rain. X
