Picco's in Calderdale

Firstly, they got our order wrong. Ordered Al Funghi pizza with pineapple as an extra topping, there was no pineapple. The Meat Feast Pizza had no Salami and Garlic Sausage. No seasoning and tasted bland. There was way too much oil. I wanted to eat it not swim in it!! Most of it went in the bin. A waste of money. Will not be going back and will not recommend.

I ordered food on line for delivery. I live approx 10 mins drive away from this takeaway and was recommended to use by a family member who lives a 5 minute drive away. That accepted my order and told me it would be 45 minutes. 50 minutes later they called to say that had made a mistake, they don’t deliver to my address. Fair enough but isn’t the food ready by now? Can they not just drop it off? No they couldn’t, they are very busy, I can come down and collect (during lock down). I expressed my disappointment and asked how I get a refund on line. He told me there was an option to cancel the order and that by doing so I would receive a full refund straight away. I checked on line and couldn’t see this option (I’m not stupid and know my way round a website!) I called back for help with this he said it wasn’t his problem that I couldn’t work it out! He then pretended he couldn’t hear me and out the phone down 😂 please please please! Avoid at all costs. The arrogance and down right rudeness of these people was disgraceful! There are plenty of other establishments serving better food and offering better service. They deserve your custom, not these horrid people!!!

The pizzas are tasty but a little on the oily side and some people may find them rather salty. I always end up drinking loads of water after one of their pizzas.

Ordered a pizza for collection, got there to collect, wrong size and clearly hadn’t even started cooking. Staff were full of attitude and unapologetic, who then made me wait a further 10 minutes for a very undercooked, sloppy & tasteless pizza. My first and last experience at this takeaway joint and further proof that no matter what, cook your own fresh food! Gross!

Very delicious food. Always go here for a quick lunch or tea because it is very fast and good quality food.

I have been going to Piccos for the last 13 years, and it is what you pay for cheap and cheerful but nice food! deliveries never too long, staff are always friendly and food is nice ( for takeaway food) :)

Always hot always cooked to perfection . Great choice of dishes only one criticism local youths tend to congregate in the shop so it can be a bit noisy at times.

Food from here is usually top notch. This order was over half an hour late and when it arrived it tasted like it had been sat on top of a hot plate all that time. Pizza soggy and stuck to the box and hard chips. Not good

I ordered my food for 20.00, they sent me a confirmation e-mail saying 20.10 which was ok, however turned up at 19.00 so I turned them away, then they turned up at 20.15, other than that food was still good.

Ordered pizzas which we're top drawer but ordered a mixed kebab and asked for chilli sauce in a tub which never received because it was on the kebab

Pizza was lush, crispy bottom and sides with soft dough.. only one minor complaint was the chips.. even though the delivery time was 18 minutes quicker than stated the chips were in a burger box which many do these days however they steam inside the box and go soggy.. what's wrong with a paper bag? Other than that it was lovely and will order again some time..

Regularly order from here - food delicious. They forgot a tub of mayo last time we ordered so made up for it by sending us a free slice of chocolate cake this time. Lovely.

It took 1hr 10 minute to deliver a small order of 3 items on a wendensday nyt when it Arrived it was cold and not very good at all

Ordered Saturday eve about 8. Given estimated time of 45 mins. 2 hours later it rocked up. Fries were rubbery. Burger was smothered in mayo. Piccos special pizza has 7 or so toppings and yet somehow it didn't taste of anything. Bit gutted as the week before it was pretty decent.

Delivery time was quicker than what it said expected which is always a bonus. The delivery driver was very polite and the food arrived warm and was very tasty. Will definitely be reordering!

The chicken tika kebabs were very delicious and we'll presented. Will definitely reorder from here.

Rang in the order and collected 30 minutes later. The food is cooked to order so this is what to expect. The food is good so at busy times you will probably have to wait longer but it's worth it. Can't agree with other comments as my order was hot and tasty.

When we ordered food here before it was really nice but recently the quality has gone downhill and fast. After 40 minutes waiting for delivery, my pizza was stone cold. My partners food was also cold and very greasy.

Have given Piccos a few chances over the last 6-8 weeks Each time was disappointing, we have been regulars of Piccos for several years. We have found the pizzas not as hot as usual and completely tasteless To such an extent we couldn't eat it Hopefully they'll turn it around again Carole Rastrick

Took over 2 hours, when I rang the takeaway I was told it had left but didn't know when. Food was lukewarm and so-so when eventually arrived.

Don't know what's happened but over the last few weeks Piccos has gone downhill Takeaway Luke warm no real taste will not be ordering again after a few years of regular use. Keep away rubbish

Normally good...but tonight was not impressed. Not much pizza topping, not many chips and were cold, salad was mainly onion....but did send out a replacement pizza but still not great. Come on Pico's, you normally do so much better!

The worst take out I have ever ordered. Over an hour for deliver, when food came pizza was inedible what was supposed to be chicken was hard and tasteless. Chips soggy and cold. My child is chicken nugget mad and even he said he wouldn't eat them as they tasted disgusting. £15 down the toilet is the only way I can describe this. We ordered a large pizza to share and had one slice each it was that bad!!! Do not order from this place. Check out it's hygiene ratting also very poor😷😷😷

Food was nice. Calzone was massive. My housemate sent them away saying it was paid online when it wasn't. Delivery driver was very understanding on his return. All in all a good takeaway, the food was nice, good service.

Ordered pizza at 8.15 for promised delivery at 840. Eventually arrived at 935 - burnt crust and poor tasting pizza - then realised this place has a hygiene score of only 1 - never again!

over an hour for delivery for the items we orders seemed a hell of a long time, but the food was piping hot and made just how we like it so worth the wait
