Excellent food and service for our midweek dinner. Everything from the moment we arrived was spot on. The only thing stopping our review being 5 out of 5 is that our mains were a little too garlicky, but still delicious! We will definitely be back!

Amazing place, amazing food and amazing owner. Great service throughout, staff were very attentive and brilliant. Food is top notch and came out quickly. 2nd time visiting now, but will be back again and again. Worth venturing out just to dine here.

I’m a regular customer here and my favourite meal is chicken milanese! The food is amazing every time , cooked perfectly. The service is brilliant , every staff is extremely friendly. I’d recommend this restaurant to couples , families and anyone who wants a good run for your money.

Such a lovely restaurant located in a beautiful town, with a well valued service. The staff are very kind and joyful which of course tops the entire experience. I was always looked after, and offered when needed. Instant service. As for the food, I have to be bias and boast about their penne pasta with salmon and vodka sauce, because it is simply the best. The flavours are immaculate. And not to mention the portions deeply reflect their prices, which is worth it. As for the interior, the restaurant brings in a bright and edgy look, that immediately caught my eye when deciding where to eat dinner. All in all, each time I go my expectations are met, and myself and my family have a blast! Highly recommend.

Been twice now. First time last Friday 14th July where we had a super meal , best risotto ever ! Great wines and extremely great service Revisited in 22nd with family and an entirely different experience. Risotto not great , food average and staff uninterested in our table of 4 adults. Last week we were given free Limoncello at end of meal , this week nothing but even a thanks for coming … not sure I’ll return as service and food seems largely dependent on which staff are working

Super service and food at Piccolo Arco they have got this so right. We sat outside next to the road but it did not bother us, very polite and attentive service from all the staff with an excellent menu choice with food that is well presented and very tasty.

10/06/23. Dinner. 19:00. 3 Persons. Yet another warm evening in Wokingham and this time very special friends had invited me to have dinner in this Italian restaurant in a unique setting. Piccolo Arco is situated in part of the former Town Hall within gothic-style arches giving the ‘arco’ part of the name. This restaurant has a pleasing and welcoming ambience, and this matched by a menu to suit all tastes and pockets. Chef’s specials of the evening were verbally described by the owner at the table and menus and other specials were proffered. Plenty of choice for starters - I had prawn fritters - lovely, but for main two of us chose one of the ‘specials’: Fillet steak pan-fried medallions with mushroom and cream sauce, potato purée, carrots, green beans and broccoli cooked to absolute perfection! The smiles from the chef (s) as the compliments were paid were genuine and they were pleased that we had enjoyed their food. The rosé wine served was exquisite and the service was very attentive and friendly. Our table had been pre-booked and this is advised as the place was soon packed, and no wonder, this is authentic Italian cuisine served in a pleasing atmosphere and well worth a visit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ E.H.

Wonderful Whole sea bass meal with vegetables. Excellent size portion and very friendly staff, easy to recommend.

This restaurant is one of our favourites, it has a great family run atmosphere with quality and service that is always given weather it's your first time or as regulars like us. The food is always excellent and if you needed to see the chefs they are there in full view so no question on the freshness and preparation/presentation. We have recommend Piccolo Arco to our Air B&B guests and friends knowing that they won't be disappointed in the food and friendly service.

My favourite Italian restaurant around Berkshire. All dishes are freshly made with high quality ingredients. I love the idea of the open view kitchen. My favourite starter is the gamberoni and for main is the dolce latte. My recommendation is 10 out of 10.

When we first walked into the wonderful restaurant in September 2020, we were expecting good things. A kind gentleman took us to our table and we ordered some drinks and starters. The food did take a long time to come out however they said it was because it was being prepared from fresh, but there was only us and another group in the whole restaurant! The food was mainstream, not Italian authentic at all. Probably made from cheap ingredients / processed/ from a freezer. At this point we felt a bit ripped off. The food was very expensive. When the bill came, they slapped 12.5% gratuity on the bill. Seeing as our food took a long time and the staff weren’t that friendly, I asked the man if I could pay for half of the gratuity as it was only optional. He grabbed the receipt from out of my hand angrily and started saying something in Italian which i can only believe is something rude. He then said to me “Don’t you English understand what gratuity is!”. I was very shocked and had explained that I wanted to pay for 6.25% not 12.5%. He then took the 12.5% off of the bill but I wasn’t impressed. It’s simple.. don’t come here!

Decided to pop into Piccolo Arco for lunch with my wife in late August. I had the seafood linguine, my wife the meatballs. The food was excellent and the service superb, we'll definitely pop in again and I would thoroughly recommend.

The atmosphere and staff and the best parts of this restraunt. The wine selection is very good. And the food is quite pricey but nice. If money was no object I would go there very regularly, it's good for special occassions like family meals or birthdays.

Four of us dined here for a midweek lunch. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I selected the bresaola followed by the veal escalope in a creamy dolcelatte sauce. Both were delicious, with no space for dessert. The restaurant provided a true authentic Italian experience - thank you!

Our go to Italian restaurant in Wokingham is normally Rossinis, however we found they were closed so thought we would try Piccolo Arco. We were pleasantly surprised. Warm greeting at the door, and the menu hadmost of the classic Italian dishes. I tried the Seafood Liguine which was excellent. My wife asked if they could cook Veal Al Limone which was not on the menu, and they were happy to do this. It also was excellent. So we are going back next week!

We have been here a few times, and the food is very good - meatballs or seafood pasta especially!The manager is a complete gentleman, he is proud of his restaurant and so he should be! He has put his heart and soul into it, he always wants to make us feel welcome.For me, it is when you go to the small independent places that you get something a bit different to the norm, a bit different to the high street chains. There are other independent Italians in Wokingham, but this one is great and really worth a try.Thank you Piccolo Arco for always providing great food and for making us feel like going out for a meal is a treat.

We booked a table for three but one person couldn't make it, the manager made us very aware of his disappointment upon arrival!As others have stated the COVID precautions here are poor and many things could be improved for everyones safety.The food is very good so it's a shame to moan but in these times the venue should adhere to better drills!

Italian used before whilst on Wokingham visits food is good quality. Surprisingly when bill arrived they seem from my opinion to have not passed on the recent 15% VAT reductions and also the discretionary tip is based on the full price at 12.5%. I call this double dipping and sadly detracted from all the good work of the quality of the meal and service. Shame for the hardworking staff really as it’s those that are not the winner’s in the end when you stop the tip. Plus what should have been a different real review about food. I have no problem about paying but I do like openness and fairness especially with transparency.

They are now offering all the great Piccolo Arco quality and taste as takeaway, just eaten tonight and it was great! 8 of us visited Piccolo Arco for my partners birthday. We've been here many times before and this evening was as good as ever. Wonderful food, I always have the crab ravioli and it's always really delicious. All the boys had the liver and said it was really good. Staff kind and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. didnt fancy cooking after a busy day so went into Wokingham. We fancied Italian. We found Piccolo Arco under the old town hall, based in what was the old fire station.What a delight to find a genune Italian restuarant serving genuine Italian dishes (not monopolised by pizza, like the big restuarant chains can be!) We mixed and matched our dishes without any fuss and recieved freindly advice on what would go best with what we wanted. Food and service were first class.The prices are not cheap and reflect the quality of food and service.a good ambience and atmosphere added to our enjoyable midweek treat.

My parents and I had a delicious meal here. The service was perfect, efficient and friendly. All the food was very tasty. I had Penne with Asaparagus and chicken , Dad had Lasagne and Mum had the chicken with peppers and vodka. I would certainly recommend.

Very welcoming and genuinely friendly. Highly convenient location in the Town Hall, which is the finest bulding in the town. All the food was excellent, as was the wine and coffee. The restaurant also sells very fine panna cotta.

We always like returning to Piccolo Arco. We are made to feel welcome and the food is excellent and in decent sized portions. When we arrived, our coats were taken to the cloakroom and we were offered a choice of tables. Being a Friday the restaurant soon filled up. If you are a Gin fan, the choice is limited but quite acceptable. The menu choice is wide with something for all. Allergies are handled sensitively without any sign of the panic that we have found elsewhere.A 10% service charge is added to the bill but in my view this is well justified. This is one of the few restaurants that can make a good Irish Coffee. At the end we were offered a farewell glass of Limoncello.At the next opportunity, we will be returning.

Just moved to Wokingham and needed somewhere to take my mum for her 59th Birthday. A really nice welcome as we entered the restaurant, our coats were taken. It was very busy with a lovely atmosphere. We had mussels, calamari, ravioli and steak. My steak was exactly how I asked (medium rare). Overall, extremely enjoyable. I eat out with my wife a lot, service and small touches make the difference. Will definitely be going back!

Although we’d heard mixed reviews, I must report that we had a very good evening here - first visit too.

From the moment of entering Piccolo Arco I sensed we were in for a pleasant surprise. The staff were so kind and friendly and welcoming, it was so refreshing. The food was absolutely delicious and we were served by four members of staff over the time we spent there. They were all so nice and as you would expect in a good restaurant focused on giving my wife and friend and self a great experience. I cannot commend them enough, and will certainly be returning in the new year.

Having lived in Wokingham for many years we thought we would give this place a try on a Friday evening.

First visit to Piccolo Arco and on arrival I was delighted by the atmosphere and ambiance of the place - very nice indeed.

We popped in today for a light lunch of spaghetti carbonara which turned out to be one of the best we have ever head including those in Italy. Good food and reasonable prices (including the drinks) is a great recipe for success.

Have been meaning to go here for a long time and glad that we did.
