Piccalilly's in Rossendale

Food was very good, a lot of variety Prices are very fair for the area and compared to Manchester prices View was very good too

We were only in the area to view a property that is up for auction having spent the night before in nearby Todmorden. Starving we found this café quite close by so in we went. In an age of ever increasing numbers of ridiculously expensive coffee shops, places like this are becoming scarcer by the year and that's a damn shame. Fresh food, immaculately cooked and presented by friendly, attentive staff with huge portions sizes left us happy and full and unbelievably resulting in a lower than expected bill to pay. As an aside, I left a treasured shirt behind when we left, I only realised later that evening. I rang them up first thing the next morning and when I got there later that day they had it tucked away safely for me. 10/10. Give them a whirl, it's well worth it.

Ordered through rossendale eats. Ordered a full English breakfast. The order took over 1hr to arrive. Sausage & black pudding missing. Toast wasn't toasted, just warm white bread. Ordered hash browns as on their menu it doesn't say breakfast comes with them, yes it does & wasted £3 on extra hash browns. I have phoned them several times but not answered & now going straight to answer machine. I will never order take away from this place again as it was so messed up. I have eaten in the cafe & it was lovely service & food but take away is a no no. I was really disappointed.

We try to find a good excuse for a breakfast out, and that can be done once a month on average. The problem is, Piccalillys breakfast is so good we could use many excuses to go more often. The breakfast is fab, with fresh and quality items, well cooked, and served with a smile. The small one is more than big enough for us, and is very good value. The coffee is very good, the tea also, and the choices for other meals are great. The staff, from the always smiling Boss to the lovely lasses working there are always ready to help, change your order, and do what they can to ensure the customer is always happy. So, we need more good excuses to enjoy our breaky treat here.
