Clearly understaffed, food was hit and miss (Bang Bang cauliflower = hit, fries = miss), maybe OK for a quick casual experience but poor for a proper meal out. Badly run.

We had decided to have brunch in Wimborne as it was the last day of my sister's visit from abroad, and although my house is only a few miles away, I have neglected Wimborne as a place to 'hang out'. We chose this restaurant at random from all of the other places with outdoor seating in the Square in Wimborne because it offered an 'English Breakfast' which what I happened to be craving, and because it has a couple of spare tables. The location was great as it was on ‘The Square’ which is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by on a sunny August Sunday morning. I was not familiar with the 'Lounge' chain before and would usually avoid them if I was looking for an 'authentic' experience , but actually, it wasn't bad at all, and after this experience, I would certainly give them a chance in another town. There was an option to go inside to order, but since we had secured a table and had our phones to hand, we persevered with their app. It was not quite as easy as ordering from a printed menu, but was reasonably simple and the app clearly had been built on the back a lot of customer feedback, as there were plenty of useful options for each dish (e.g. ‘no beans, ‘no mushrooms’ etc). There were plenty of combinations for teas and coffees with full milk, soya milk, oat milk and so on, so all of our quirks were easily accommodated. I had a ‘Full English’ with a couple of extras, my wife had a ‘Miami’ something-or-other breakfast, and my sister had a salad which involved chicken, bacon and avocado. The beverages arrived very quickly and the food soon after, and it was all very nicely prepared and presented, and the quality was excellent. One of the gauges I use to measure a ‘full English’ is the quality of the sausages. These were towards the top end of expectations. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome, and all in all it was a very nice brunch. The bill was about 50% higher than the local greasy spoon, but the quality of the food and the location and atmosphere easily made it worth the extra cost.

We visited Piazzo for a birthday breakfast last Sunday for our grown up daughter. Hubby and son had the Pancakes (obviously with bacon) and daughter and I had the Lounge Eggs (with salmon). Absolutely delicious. Service is first class. Surroundings are beautiful but homely and totally relaxing. We couldn't recommend Piazzo highly enough. But shhhhhh.... don't tell everybody about this wonderful eatery of delight! ;-)

The Piazzo Lounge in Wimborne is located in the centre of the town. Although the workers were friendly, it felt as if they were constantly watching our table which was uncomfortable. Incorporated in the design of the Lounge is beautiful lighting fixtures; however, the furniture and colour scheme means that the whole atmosphere is very dark and slightly uncomfortable. The toilets are also very dark due to the lighting and colours but they are clean. Our table, which we chose owing to its position next to the window, was dirty when we sat down but a worker, who was very pleasant, cleaned it for us when asked - nonetheless, it was a little off-putting. The Lounge has a great menu with suitable options for vegan and Vegetarians but it is quite expensive; especially for coffee. The coffee was average.

Freindly quick service with a really nice ambience. Ideal venue for a nice drink and meal. We chose tapas as we didn’t want to be really stuffed before a concert at Tivoli.

This is the nicest looking lounge that I've ever visited but the service just wasn't it. The sign says wait to be seated but no-one arrived to greet us. The coffee tasted rank, not sure if the milk was on the turn or the coffee was slightly burnt but I only had a couple of sips and had to leave the rest. The food was okay. The gluten free burger was delicious hence the 3 star review.

As a vegetarian, I was delighted to have such a great choice of dishes. They all sounded good but I finally settled on the bang bang cauliflower which was delicious.

4 of us visited last evening (Thursday 26/10/2023), we ordered seperatly but at the same time at the bar. Firstly, they do not serve bitters of any kind, so husband opted for good old tap water. Secondly, our other dinner guests food came out before ours, it consisted of a cold katsu curry and a buttermilk chicken with cold slaw and chips. This was hot and was okay. After our other dinner guests had finish the curry and 3/4 way through the chicken, our meals arrived. This consisted of a burger and another buttermil chicken dish. The burger was tasty, but the buttermilk chicken was inedible as it had been over cooked too long., it was brown and crisp on the sides. My wife took a biter of it and could not eat it. When she turned it over, she could see how brown and over cooked it was. We called the Waitress over (as there was no check back) and we showed her. We heard her go into the kitchen and say to someone 'Apparently the chicken is over cooked'!, when she came back out, my wife challenged her on this by asking, 'could she not see for herself that it was overcooked and that there was no apparently about it'. To which she replied 'I don't know, I did not taste it'. I had finished my burger by the time my wife's food came out, which left her eating on her own! Needless to say, we will not be back due to lack of quality of food, cold food and poor service.

Limp welcome, followed by messing up the drinks order, followed by surly attitude, followed by old lettuce . No wonder they want paying first, still no reason to tip !

Yes thd building and decoration are nice, apart from hitting your head on lampshades, and the staff seemed nice and friendly but the food let's this place down badly. It's a real shame, my wife, son and myself went in for a late lunch, I had the all day breakfast and it looked like it had been there all day especially the fried egg. My son had the burger which looked ok but my son said was swamped in burger sauce and the portion of chips was pathetic it also had a lump of congealed coleslaw on the side. My wife had a ciabatta which although it was £8+ was dry and was lacking the usual side salad or anything. Altogether £40+ ɓadly spent. Yes I know I should have complained to the management but there wasn't many alternatives and if it had gone back to the kitchen I can't see it would have been any better. We won't be going back and as I work for one of the biggest employers in Poole the word soon gets round. It's so disappointing when these places are meant to be struggling for trade

The restaurant was very busy, we queued to get in & because we were happy to share a table so seated quickly. The bar was a bit slow as only one person appeared to be serving but we didn’t have to wait long for our food which was delicious. I chose Nasi Goreng which is essentially a spicy rice dish with chicken & prawn, my partner chose Rose’s Truffle Chicken with mushrooms in a cheesy sauce, bacon & potatoes. We would recommend both & we will certainly be returning. The place is spacious, dog friendly & the toilets were spotless, a disabled loo on the ground floor & the main loos upstairs. Our visit was on a Saturday at about 12.40pm so maybe less busy during the week.

Not as good as other Lounges we've eaten in. There were several of the menu choices unavailable. One of the meals wasn't very hot and the avacado salad consisted of an unripe avacado. Some of the staff aren't as friendly here either. Hard to have a conversation as the music was quite loud.

Lovely place to eat, ideal for all peoples. Separate gluten free menu, when ordering, gluten free was clarified and advised that they could not give 100% but the food was cooked and prepared in a separate area of the kitchen (perfect) gf meal arrived with a gf flag and a red flag indicating allergy. Very impressed with this and the meal was amazing, very delicious and full of flavour!!!

I had the best salad I've eaten in a long time at the Piazzo Lounge. It was Mezze Salad and was truly delicious. I will definitely go back again and probably try one of the other salads if they are of the same standard! It's hard to get such a good quality salad bowl.

Absolutely awful service. Booked a table for 9.am. typing this review at 10.05am and still no breakfast! No drinks were offered until 9.35am, ordered moccha got hot chocolate. Most of which was on the table as it was badly carried to the table. 9.50 am finally asked for our orders, I said how as no menu provided. Waitress said it was because we weren't sat at a "breakfast table"!! The table we were told to sit at ? 9.55am, cutlery bought to us but no food, not even toast. 10.10am 1 glass of apple juice placed on table but no pineapple juice or 2 x lattes we ordered 20 mins ago!! Tables that were seated after us were asked their orders first. Such a shame as our first stay was amazing. Last nights dinner service & quality of food was amazing. Breakfast ends/ended 10 am. Checkout is 11.am !! Extremely disappointing experience. STILL NO FOOD at 10 15am and I'm on the verge of just leaving without now.

When we moved to the area in early 2020, one of our neighbours told us that Bentleys was his favourite places for a Sunday carvery. Then came Covid and lockdowns, so that we have only now been able to try it out, since its reopening last month. We were very much looking forward to it and, whilst it was OK, it was a little disappointing. Firstly the complimentary hors d’oeuvres. One small rectangular plate was presented to us, but whilst the quantity of what was on there was fine for two, the actual components on it were one chicken skewer, one spring roll and two small, but different, tarts, meaning that, other than the olives and feta, everything had to be cut in half to enable us each to sample everything! The carvery itself was neither the best that I have ever had, but nor was it the worst. I was impressed that the beef was cooked as beef should be, and not cremated, and commented as much to the chef. As this was unusual for a carvery both my wife and I went for it plus some turkey. I have to say that the turkey was very nice, but the beef was rather chewy. Vegetables were OK; I thought that the roast potatoes could have been a bit crispier and the Yorkshire was pretty rock solid. For dessert, my wife chose the lemon meringue which, I think was a good choice, because I went for rhubarb crumble and custard and found the crumble topping to be almost as solid as a pie crust. I'm afraid that it is unlikely that we will be rushing back.

Did not need to book, although it got busy later on. Staff shortage was very evident (Only Barman & Chef). The service was very friendly and Good ambience. Orders taken, drinks got we sat down and waited. The food was delivered by Chef and it was plentiful, and tasted very nice, i still have Choc Fudge Cake and custard stuck to the roof of my mouth:) We did overhear from next table that some of the menu advertised was not available and a table of 10 did seem to wait a while for their courses. I'm sure once some decent waiting staff are engaged service time will improve and overall experience will be fine. Would we go again, definitely, but suggest that until more staff are on board Don't Plan your visit on Timings, Theses could go well over..
