What an absolutely awful meal Beef chow mein tasted like cow leather. Rice was soggy honestly the whole meal was barely edible

Very disappointed in the meal. I have always been a regular but the last couple of years it has gone downhill. However I thought I would give phoenix another chance. But again I have been disappointed

Once again excellent tasty food, lots of meat and prawns in the Singapore Rice Noodles and great egg fried rice. I did ask for extra Chilli

If your open till 10. Your open to 10. Don't turn all off and push the brush round in kitchen and then turn all on again as someone comes in at 9.30 for take away and cook it on full just to get it out of door. Chicken balls dark brown on outside dough on inside still tacky and un-cooked. Chowmien chicken burnt on outside and has the burnt tarnished taste. I think i will give it a miss next time.

This must have changed hands? Excellent service and very tasty takeaway, we both had Singapore Vermicelli noodles extra spicy (because in some places it can be a bit bland), this was exceptionally nice.. Packed with meat and prawns and with layers of flavours not just heat. It's up there with the best takeaway Singapore noodles I've had and the place deserves to have a good review based on my one visit so far. Very friendly staff and a very quick cooked to order service.

Well after buying food from here for over 15 years the time has come. The meal tonight was dry tasteless and with no effort. I have eaten the following numerous times . Roast chicken rice ... Has now changed to a dry breast of tasteless chicken in brown sauce. Crispy chilli beef... bland in flavour and had no colour. Rice clumpy and dry. Chicken balls half cooked and dough like wet plaster. Im sure they have changed hands of chef's... Lookong now for a new takeaway...

This has got to be the worst attempt at Chinese cooking ever Twice now I have chanced eating from this take away and have regretted wasting my money both times Poor quality does not even scratch the surface! When I looked at the meal sent tonight it went straight in the bin, I wouldn’t have even attempted to eat it I can only describe it as not fit fit for a dog Imagine somalians trying to do a full English and you may come close to the dog mess that was delivered to me tonight!

Very fatty duck would not order again, it wasn’t slightly fat it it was just fat no meat absolutely disgusting never seen any duck like it

The food inst what you order the crisp duck wasn't Crisp the what I was told was the manger was very rude and told me it's only 9,30what was I aspect I would not be buy from the place again think the food is heated up from lunch

We only ever order from here and have been a customer since 2004. Mustard chilli chicken is the best thing on the menu and it's always cooked and seasoned beautifully, the crispy chilli beef is lovely and it's even nicer if you ask for extra chilli, the food always comes hot and in good timing. The prices are good, but the portion sizes have gone down a lot in size.

This is for Amesbury. Not only have the past 2 delivery orders been wrong, we thought we would try it again. BIG MISTAKE. Ordered S&S chicken Hong Kong style . What came was under cooked chicken almost raw and completely inedible. Phoned takeaway and did they give a sh**? Absolutey not. If you value your stomach and you cash...avoid this place like the plague. Crap food, crap after service. Lol good delivery though.

Just paid 27 pound for a meal that is totally unedible. chicken was that raw it was like jelly. swimming in nasty sauce and was not what i had ordered. phoned to complain to have someone scream and shout telling me that i was talking rubbish and that i should bring the food back, even though i had paid for a delivery. totally uninterested in my complaint . I asked him to send the driver back so i could return the food and he refused. He stated that nobody had made a complaint before and put the phone down on me. I would totally give this place a miss. Environmental Health need to pay them a visit. Please do not waste your money on this rubbish. This place is not even worth a one star but had to give them one to post this review.

We had a wonderful Chinese delivered tonight, I had to right a review because it was my first from Phoenix and it tasted outstanding. We have had a few from others in the area and Phoenix put them to shame tonight! The food was delicious and so fresh , we had lamb, and it was so crispy but tender at the same time it melted in our mouths , the crispy beef was just perfect and the egg fried rice was delicious- my husband loved his Singapore fried rice noodles also. We could not fault this meal. Great value, kind staff member over the phone also . A huge 100000% recommendation for Phoenix! Thank you we will be regulars from now often!

We recently moved to the area and have ordered twice from Phoenix now. Really impressed with the food, all the dishes we have tried so far have been yummy and the boxes are always filled to the brim with lots of meat. Would highly recommend the chicken in satay sauce. Best prawn crackers too, not greasy at all!

Was greeted by the delivery driver shouting and swearing at the staff about the cost of delivering to a different area. Ordered my food and went to pay. Was told they don’t except card payments below £12. Then when I said ok don’t worry about it and refused to order more food to make up the difference, I was greeted with animosity and attitude! 10000% won’t be using again. I went to CHAN’S 2 minutes up the road instead and was greeted by friendly helpful staff and the food was great!!

Been using Pheonix for 20yrs. Damm it’s gone so down hill recently. Tonight’s meal was terrible also £24.00 later. Really very disappointing !! Found better at Larkhill if anyone local wants to change. I wouldn’t recommend the BBQ spare ribs. My dead gran has got more meat. What a load of tosh !!

i been using phoenix sine i was a kid i always loved it but the last year or so it has been not good the food is cold and uneatable as it tastes like a cardboard i would stay far away as better takeaways in amesbury and the people who runnit r wronguns please aviod useing chans as way better i will ever use them again even if the food is free i would rather go through the bins for dinner

Have been using this takeaway now for over 20 years i have never had a bad meal from there. i have tried others over the year but always go back.

Evitaría esto como la plaga, preferiría comer cartón o ir sin nada. Dejé de usar esto hace bastante tiempo ya que la comida era tan horrible. Desafortunadamente, me gustaba mucho el chino y mi habitual iba a ser una hora y media y media, así que pensé que me arriesgaría a que las cosas cambiaran. Ordered a take away tonight, waited well over an hour, food was cold, chow mein horrendously salty and the pork mostly fat, won’t order from here again

We were looking for a Chinese take-away in an unfamiliar town and discovered this one on the internet. A very pleasant surprise. The menu was large, interesting and very good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our food was cooked to order and delicious. Generous portions at very reasonable prices too. ¿Por qué esta tarea para llevar toma su pedido y le dice 45 minutos por hora cuando en realidad los buggers que están mintiendo le deben avisar que suenan en 45 minutos y podemos mentir otra vez y decirle que el conductor que acaba de regresar será otro de 30 minutos? Los dientes de atrás de ser engañados por esta eliminación, acabas de perder mi costumbre, y les diré a todos los que conozco que coman en la casa de Chan.

Ordenado hace más de una hora, aún no había comida, así que los llamé para avisar que serían otros 30 minutos para cancelar el pedido. No volveré a ordenar de ellos. Estábamos cerca y escogimos esto de un número de comida china para llevar cerca. La calidad y cantidad de comida es buena. Mi esposa tenía una casa especial de chop chop y yo tenía el curry especial de la casa.Mi curry era un poco más que el curry chino normal, demasiado caliente para mí. Tal vez pregunte si le gusta de la misma manera.

Ordered takeaway which I took back to nearby hotel,it was terrible,dry tasteless and smelled awful. Took it straight back,was not offered refund instead proprietor was very aggressive. Please don't use this place, locals also confirm the poor quality,of course after I had tried the premises.

We have not had a takeaway for ages,so went back to the Phoenix again as we had not had a bad meal from here before.We were not disappointed with ease of ordering for delivery and the food came piping hot and in quick time.

We ordered several meals the other night,to be delivered (we are approx.6 miles away). The order arrived within 40 minutes, piping hot + a complimentary bag of prawn crackers. First class food and service. All cooked perfectly, delicious!

After reading the reviews I was hoping for a really lovely meal, but I was disappointed as some of the meal was definitely below standard

Food was lovely would go again but I do have takeaways from here .easy to get to car park near to restaurant.staff very helpful and polite ,took a friend that had come from london for weekend.

Excellent. Great value for money and fantastic food. The best chinese food we have ever had in UK. Can't fault them. Lived and moved away now back and the food has not changed. Perfect. Keep it up.
