Wonderful experience every time

Incredibly kind and attentive service, followed up by a hearty and delicious bowl of pho made with evidently fresh ingredients. Served with a great wine pairing. They don’t make you have to think about what would be best, they just offer a small choice of options which they know will be good. Top it off with a unique theme and cosy and stylish surroundings made for a meal I’d love to return to if I’m ever in town again

The girl who helped us was a sweetheart, she explained everything to us great. It's nice to find people like that. The atmosphere was wonderful and so was the food. Incredible

The staff were lovely, the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. The food was highly disappointing, we both got the super green pho, as it was the only veggi dish. The price point for this dish was completely unreasonable £13 for a small bowl and £18 for the ‘large’ bowl which is the regular size of anywhere else that sells pho but this one was by far more expensive, i’d like to add that the veggi bowl was the same price as the beef and pork bowls ? which makes no sense as the price of ingredients are no where near the same. I wouldn’t mind paying this price if I enjoyed my meal and was kept full but this was not possible due to there being no protein (most places add tofu) or flavour. The broth tasted like boiled vegetables and chilli and had 0 flavour and the noodles were undercooked. We are both students and don’t often go out as it’s expensive so are very disappointed. I have had pho many times in many different places but this was by far the most disappointing.

My favourite restaurant in Falmouth never disappoints. The staff are so lovely and knowledgeable.

Emily our server, super knowledgeable and very good at her job! I'm a chef and usually disappointed in dinning out but this evening I was soooo happy. Scallops were cooked perfectly and just delightful. The mussels also amazing and the the the pho was just perfect! Thank you chef

Our favourite find in Falmouth. A lovely cosy environment and a friendly and welcoming team who remembered us from our previous visit (6 months before). Menu is small number and perfectly formed. The slow cooked brisket pho was rich, spicy and satisfying, the local mussels in a spicy coconut broth was also delicious. We’ll be back 🤗

Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. We stumbled across this gem of a restaurant whilst on holiday. The food was so fresh tasting and very authentic. I could not recommend highly enough.

Amazing food, we only wanted a snack so had scallops and summer crab rolls. Both were very fresh, tasty and great value. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and decor is great. Especially the Pho Garden outside the front. Will 100% be back and recommend checking this place out!

Got taken care of by some of the friendliest wait staff we’ve met who made some good suggestions about the food and what drinks were available. The mussels were STANDOUT incredible and the small portion was the perfect size for 2 to share as a starter and the Pho was excellent too. I do wish they had a Seafood option on the Pho menu, but the lemongrass chicken bowl was delicious. Great service, brilliant food, cozy atmosphere and very fairly priced. 10/10 - will be coming back soon :)

This restaurant is a golden secret that is more than worth checking out! The service is amazing and you can tell they all love working there.Not only were they extremely friendly, but they took their time asking if we had any questions and answered everything, explaining dishes and drinks! The food of course does not disappoint either. It is extremely well cooked and deserves every praise it gets. Authenticity and passion are combined in the stunning flavour. The only thing I would note is that it wasn't clear what the prices for the beverages were, since there was no menu. The meals however were listed with prices. In conclusion, the food, together with the cozy atmosphere and good music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, the experience you get at this underground bar is a solid 10/10, especially in the evening.

Amazing pho. Nice and spicy but still with tons of flavour. I had beef pho and pork ribs as a side, both were amazing. Great cocktails too.

Having stumbled upon this place all i can say is outstanding. Being a bit of a food coward with spice i threw caution to the wind, i was not disappointed. The food was well cooked and full of flavour. The Buddha beer is fantastic and the staff are top notch. The atmosphere and decor of the place is brilliant. We will certainly be visiting again in the future.

We loved this little hidden gem, the waitress was so welcoming, polite, and new all the menu by heart, down to the ingredients a true addition to the restaurant, food was amazing and packed with flavor, and the slaw was amazing too, so kudos to the chef, a must visit when in Falmouth, we will be back, soon!

Brilliant food! My first time having Pho and I definitely came to the right place! Recommend the beef and the pork pho.

This is an incredible fusion restaurant with local ingredients. The service is amazing with a welcoming atmosphere. I really love the Cornish beef pho. It’s got a great balance and a bit of kick with the spices. We also tried their seasonal langoustine pho and it was equally delicious. This is really a great spot and I’m so lucky to have found this place during my travels in Cornwall. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you crave creative cuisine with authentic ingredients and genuine staff, look no further! We will definitely be back again for more.

Amazing place. Got lucky finding this place during our stay in Falmouth and nearly missed it as didn't come up in Google map view. But so pleased we gave it a try as the pho was superb. Great care goes into preparation of the food with delicious depth and subtlety of flavour of the pho broth and quality of ingredients. Cocktail was also delicious and paired well with the food. Loved the decor and appreciate the craftsmanship that went into the design. Hidden gem.

Our favourite place in Falmouth!!!! Me and my boyfriend came here for the first time more than a year ago and we absolutely fell in love with this place. Super lovely service, cosy and relaxing atmosphere and the most nourishing food I can imagine. I personally used to love the chicken pho, but in the meantime I became vegetarian and now the mushroom pho is my new go to, which is vegan as well so my boyfriend can have it too. We are both absolutely loving it!! Always asking for the delish nuts on the side and the yummy Phojito drink. Cannot stop wanting to go back all the time!!

PhoBar is a jewel in Falmouth. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly. They gave us clear information about the dish contents regarding our allergies. The atmosphere is nice and tranquile. We loved it.

One of the best food spots in Falmouth. The menu lets you pick the meat or veggie Pho you want (all delicious), then add amazing sides like summer rolls. Its quite simple and such good quality. Great staff, very friendly and informed.

Excellent food, staff, and restaurant. Perfectly al dente noods and a beef broth that hits from every angle. Not the hottest or cheapest pho I've had, but the bowl was constructed masterfully. PhoBar would be a gem anywhere and we're especially blessed to have them in Cornwall.

The spring rolls were nice but the duck pho was overpriced for the amount of food. The staff were nice and helpful

A wonderful experience. My favourite restaurant in Falmouth - the food is exceptional, really fresh and tasty, lots of flavour and well presented. The servers are knowledgeable and just pleasant, easy going people. Ambience and decor on point. It's a just a brilliant little restaurant and you shouldn't miss it.

This place is a hidden gem. I sail in and out of Falmouth as a skipper with customers. If we come back on Thurs eve we always go here and they love it, as do I. The place is quite funky and the staff make it special. Front of house Emma makes this a friendly and the best pho, beating any London comparison, belive me I have tried! Top notch place.

I can feel they made a lot of efforts on broth. It tastes really pure meat broth. The amount was plenty too. Summer roll was refreshing too. I really recommend this place.

By far the best night I've had in Falmouth, can't wait to take my friends. I was welcomed by 2 lovely girls to a gorgeous wee restaurant with excellent ambience. it's so fun & friendly. all cozy wood and nice vibes. the food is fantastic. couldn't have asked for more. definitely worth a visit. I'm here alone and feel so comfortable and happy. I was really impressed with the server speaking to a familyconcerned with costs. the food amazing and the staff really make it special. glad I made this choice and I'll definitely be back xx So, I went back with my mate, he absolutely loved it. Tried the mushroom ramen that time and it cured our hangover. Best fourth memories x

Don't miss this little gem. A dangerously tasty house cocktail, yummy summer rolls plus the very good pho bowls ... a perfect dinner. Worth a second or third visit. Nice music, too and a tasteful interior. Thankscto the friendly staff!

Wonderful interpretation of Pho in Cornwall. They use locally sourced products and really highlight the flavors on offer in the broth. Vibes are immaculate too.

Wowserooney this was something else. Everything was so fresh and delicious I can't wait to go back and keep going until I've tried everything on the menu. The staff were great and all.

I like the staff are very friendly and welcoming you. You will know they use good quality of ingredients and feel healthy when you try the food. I was a bit disappointed it doesn't really taste like Vietnamese if you seek authentic food please be aware. But generally it was nice and clean taste!

Beautifully renovated snug lower ground restaurant with the best quality viet bowl food (but the duck rolls are to die for!) The delightful staff found us a table despite not having booked. I suspect we will need to be more organised the next time we are in town if we'd like to be so lucky again. Thank you!

Basement Bar - lovely staff - But ! At 7.30 pm on a Thursday night they had run out of Pork Spare Ribs and Mussel Seafood Pho noodles. These are the most popular dishes they do & we had made a detour to come & try them Pho is all about the quality of the stock and the beef brisket was sadly lacking in essential Asian flavours - not enough lemongrass / Galangal / Ginger & garlic /Star Anise / Cinnamon / Peppercorns Just tasted like a watered down beef stock cube Spring rolls had no Carrot / Beansprouts / Mooli / vermicelli or savoury sauce so no crunch or real flavour Pho bar needs to get a real vietnamese chef as everyone is well travelled these days & expects more authenticity

We needed a change from heavy food with the ubiquitous chips. Every part of our meal was delicious and beautiful. Gluten and lactose free! Music track was great, too.

Our plans for dinner changed and we stumbled into PhoBar without a reservation. Emma talked us through the menu and helped with our order. Delicious food, great service. My only negative is the distance from Essex!

Nothing Fubar about PhoBar. We only went in for a drink as one of our party needed the toilet. I must say that Emma our host and co-owner is very good at her trade. She sold the restaurant and menu to us straight away. Clearly has a lot of confidence and passion in her product. Her co-owner and partner Tom certainly continues to impress with his cooking. With his fresh and tasty food, Tom manages to capture the flavour of spice without it being too hot (extra chillies are available on demand). Really enjoyed the experience you both put on. Much like your unique bottle ornaments, we all left like happy Buddhas. Would recommend to local and tourist alike.

New favourite place to eat in Falmouth. Emma and Tom know their stuff! Great food, music and atmosphere. Will be back!

Had wanted to try the Pho Bar and wasn’t disappointed. Sometimes its easy to think the service industry is easy but it takes some TLC and we had a lovely experience. Lots of places are missing the simple interaction but not here. Music, ambiance, food and the welcome were all top drawer. Will recommend to all and will be back soon.

Hands down my favourite place to eat in Cornwall. Great lil venue, friendly staff and awesome fresh pho 😋 if in the Falmouth area, I would definitely recommend this place.

Oh so delicious food - fresh, spicy and crunchy salads to start, warm and wonderful bowls of pho then we had to make room for pudding and we didn't regret it. Everyone was friendly and happy and the decor was so calm and lush. Really good choice for an evening meal.

Very late and disappointing. I have had their bowl of noodles with belly pork before and it’s been excellent. Unfortunately, this time it arrived 55 minutes late, the pork was in massive grey lumps and it had very little veg. Usually it has fresh coriander, spring onions etc. This time a few bits of carrot. I tried phoning and texting at the half hour point, but when I finally got through, ‘sorry, its the delivery company’s fault and you can heat it up in the microwave’, if I had one? When finally we had reheated the noodles, everything was slimy and difficult to eat. I was refunded, but are you happy for your customer to eat your food after it’s been driven round Falmouth for nearly an hour? Send new at the the half hour point!

From the outside it looks small but when you walk down those steps a whole new world opens up and you are welcomed by a gorgeous beautifully decorated restaurant. The food is outstanding with a delicious balance of flavours and super healthy. The staff/owners are so friendly and passionate about what they do. Cannot wait to go back. Wow! Loved the lucky Buddha beer as well.

Great, yummy pho and fantastic service. We ordered take out for dinner after being unable to find a reservation anywhere else at the last minute (our fault - peak holiday season). Value for money is fantastic as you get plenty of veg. (I ordered the vegan option). Flavour was superb. Rang to ask when we could collect and PhoBar managed to fit in our order and prepare within 15 minutes. Amazing! Pick up and payment was super easy and quick. The actual bar is very near the harbour car park and the staff were lovely and friendly.

The owner of Pho couldn’t have been more helpful when placing our order and was so polite even though we kept changing our order. The food was beautifully fresh and so tasty - we had the belly pork which was full of flavour. Really recommend for a healthy and delicious takeaway.

Simply delicious! I've been eating Pho for many years while living in SE Asia and always longed for a good Pho while back here in the UK. While the world was going crazy with Coroña I was forced back to Cornwall and found a Pho that not only matches that of Asia, but I truly believe is better than any I've tasted. The ingredients Pho bar Falmouth use are of the best quality. Local meat and veg in a simply devine broth. You can taste the love that goes from the chef Tom into cooking the broth and the service from Emma is second to none. I've eaten here many times over the last 18months and will continue for as long as I am here. P.s. if your lucky enough to get some of their ribs then yo are in for a real treat!

The BEST pho outside of Vietnam! Do not go anywhere else for your pho. Huge portion and full of flavour, can't wait to come back again!

Stumbled across this gem last year on holiday in a side alley in Falmouth. Looking for something different from the usual pasty or sandwuch for lunch al fresco. I'd never tried the cuisine before so decided to take the plunge and so glad we did. The flavours were delicious, the service friendly and efficient, the presentation perfect for eating outdoors. Unexpectedly amazing and wull definitely be one of my firm holiday stops.
