Very nice service from Kristian and the team, food was really good!!

The food was quite good overall, but I had specifically requested to have the coriander removed. Unfortunately, I could still taste it in the spring roll. When I mentioned this to the staff, he insisted that there was no coriander in it.

Charming service although beef in beef pho was all gristle and very little actual meat. Pho was very light on spices but otherwise was okay.

I frequently visit this restaurant, and it has quickly become one of my favorites! Every time, I order the Bún Chả Hà Nội and the Special Fried Rice, and both are consistently delicious. The flavors in the Bún Chả are so authentic, with perfectly grilled pork, fresh herbs, and a savory dipping sauce that brings everything together. The Special Fried Rice is a fantastic dish, filled with a great variety of meats and vegetables, cooked just right, and always flavorful. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. It’s the kind of place where you feel right at home, whether you’re dining in or getting takeaway. Highly recommend to anyone who loves Vietnamese food or is looking to try something new!

Tuve una experiencia increíblemente decepcionante en Slow City en Greenwich. A pesar de hacer una reserva con antelación, se sentía como si eso no significara nada. Llegamos antes de nuestra hora prevista, pero todavía tenía que esperar. Peor aún, cuando finalmente nos sentamos, nadie se molestó en preguntar por nuestro nombre, como si no hubiera un sistema para priorizar a los huéspedes con reservas. Estábamos abajo y las cosas bajaron rápido. El área era esencialmente un espacio de almacenamiento cerca de los baños, en absoluto lo que se esperaría de un restaurante. Estaba mal mantenido, con mesas sucias y un ambiente generalmente descuidado que se sentía completamente poco acogedor. Cuando la comida finalmente llegó, era tan malo como el servicio. Mi entrante de calamar sal y pimienta estaba frío y completamente poco apetitoso. El calamar frío no solo es desagradable, sino que se vuelve gomoso y prácticamente no comestible. El entrante de mi compañero llegó 15 minutos después del mío, dejándonos comiendo por separado antes de que llegara nuestra red. La comida en sí era sosa, una mezcla grasienta de ingredientes arrojados en un wok, ahogándose en aceite sin sabor ni cuidado. Incluso las bebidas tardaron 15 minutos en llegar, y nuestros platos principales fueron servidos con 10 minutos de diferencia. Por si fuera poco, durante nuestra comida, un chef entró en una habitación ubicada al lado del inodoro y salió con dos patos cocidos en una bandeja expuesta, que era preocupante ver en un comedor abierto. Tengo curiosidad genuina por saber cuál es la calificación de higiene alimentaria para este lugar, ya que no parecía una seguridad alimentaria adecuada. La cocina no parecía organizada por lo que vi cuando tuvimos que caminar hasta el mostrador para pagar nuestra cuenta porque nadie nos prestó atención al final. Cuando los camareros finalmente llegaron a nuestra mesa, se disculparon después de darse cuenta de que estábamos claramente descontentos con la experiencia. Se agradeció, pero los problemas eran mucho más profundos que los retrasos en el servicio. Es evidente que se trata de un problema de gestión, ya que parece que están luchando con la capacidad y la planificación, por lo que el personal está desbordado. Sinceramente, no sé cómo este restaurante es valorado tan alto. Toda la experiencia, desde el servicio hasta la comida, fue triste. No recomendaría Slow City a nadie.

Very specia rétaurant the best Việt Nam! Food

We are Vietnamese food lovers and we tried this one last week for dinner. The pho was authentic. Don’t miss their home made meat balls and sausage. Highly recommended.

Use to be one of our favourite spots in Greenwich, but we visited recently and both the chicken and beef brisket had a weird taste, spoiled or very close to be spoiled. A shame because the serving staff is very kind.

Great vegan options!! Also the staff were soooo accommodating and friendly!!!! They even let us stay past closing time to cut our brothers cake!! So kind and really appreciate the gesture! Will deffo come back

Delicious Vietnamese food with good service at this local establishment. I've eaten here with friends before and look forward to returning again.

Deeply disappointing experience. While the restaurant's ambiance and menu seemed promising, the staff's behavior was unacceptable. I arrived with my autistic friend, who requires the assistance of his autism support dog. Despite presenting the necessary documentation and explaining our legal rights under the Equality Act, the staff members refused us entry. Their limited English proficiency and apparent disregard for disability inclusion made the situation even more frustrating. A shame when Greenwich Council has made significant efforts to promote disability access in the borough. I would strongly advise potential diners to consider their options before visiting Pho City. Their discriminatory practices are unacceptable and should not be tolerated.

Run into this restaurant while visiting Greenwich, amazing Vietnamese food with good service. A large selection on the menu, only wish we could try more dishes!

Deep fried sea bass is really good

It used to be a good place…But now the waitress’ attitude ruined it all. Be careful when you order because there could be some miscomunications, and you will end up having to eat things that you can’t eat and asked to remove!! You will be accused and will have fingers pointed. No apologies at all and our vibe was ruined. I was not expecting this, I hope it will improve.

Instantly my new favourite Pho place in the Greenwich/Lewisham/Blackheath area. Friendly service, fast, super fresh and tasteful ingredients, decent sized portions, no artificial flavours and reasonably priced. Will be seeing me here much more often.

Really enjoy this place but it is annoying how they never have duck on the weekdays!!! They always say “sold out” but it’s not that difficult to stock duck

We wanted to eat away from the crowds at Greenwich and this place was perfect. Well presented dishes with lovely flavours, in a laid back setting and great staff. Would be great to explore other dishes on the menu.

Todo fue encantador, aparte de uno de nuestros platos principales llegando cuando estábamos aproximadamente a la mitad de nuestro generoso entrante. El segundo principal llegó algún tiempo después y estábamos un poco demasiado llenos para disfrutarlo. La camarera ofreció cajas para llevar para nuestras sobras.

El plato incluía pollo perfectamente asado que era jugoso y sabroso, con un toque de hierba de limón y otras especias tradicionales vietnamitas. Este es el turno de mi hijo, de ver cuando se les pregunte a dónde quieren ir y no los culpo. La comida es fresca, llena de sabores y es igual de buena cuando viajamos de regreso a Vietnam.

Comidas muy decepcionantes. Éramos cuatro en la fiesta, todos comíamos diferentes platos de fideos. Todos teníamos la misma opinión de la comida. La comida era sosa, insípida y cocinada en demasiado aceite; dando una comida excepcionalmente grasosa. Le dimos su opinión al propietario sobre la falta de sabor de la comida; que le dijeran que el ajo, el jengibre y otras especias no se utilizan en la cocina vietnamita. Así que haz de eso, lo que quieras. Si estás en el mercado de comida Vietnamita en Greenwich, Pho Street es una opción mucho mejor

Pho soup was disappointing here. Came at 3pm refused to allow eating inside, had to take PHO soup to go. Quality didnt meet my expectations

We had summer roll, bun bo hue (dac biet/ special combo) and bun cha Hanoi (pork vermicelli and as a Vietnamese I can say the quality is very good and I will definitely come back. Nip picking - I’d say the pork meat could be burnt just a tiny bit longer on the outside for the charcoal flavor to come out and the noodles were a tad too soft for my liking but otherwise lovely. Also service is great so please support our local Vietnamese community.

Though I've never visited Vietnam, at the suggestion of a Vietnamese friend and I was not disappointed. This place has a calming atmosphere with very chilled servers, that are always happy to help. However the food was what we came for, and I wasn't disappointed with food which tasted so fresh and so clean leaving me pleasantly satisfied!

Outstanding Fresh Value for money

Good fresh and fried spring rolls. Very dissapointed with the bao buns and the pho. Meet in the pho was very fatty and the soup with very little flavour. The staff could not speak English enough to answer our questions. Never again.

This was a pretty low quality experience. We ordered the spring rolls which tasted nice but they were deep fried and quite greasy. I ordered the duck for main and although this is obviously a fatty meat, my portion was also filled with bones and cartilage so very minimal duck meat and flavourless rice. No condiments on the table. My partner ordered the beef noodles which tasted predominantly of 'crisp and dry.' The only real compliment is that I can pay the restaurant is that the wine was fine and it was relatively cheap. I would not return.

Upon stepping into Pho, the inviting ambience promised a satisfying meal. However, our optimism quickly waned as the service failed to meet expectations. When our waitress brought out the wrong dish for me, I politely requested a replacement, only to be met with resistance. The waitress implied that I had ordered incorrectly, despite my assurance otherwise. Despite our efforts to explain the situation, the staff adamantly refused to accommodate our request for a replacement dish. Their dismissive attitude and refusal to rectify their mistake overshadowed the satisfactory quality of the food. This frustrating experience at Pho has left us with no desire to return.

Found this Vietnamese restaurant while visiting Greenwich. The deep fried starters were really good, we had spring rolls (Pork&Crab), Salt&Pepper Squid and Chicken wing. All done excellently and will not be very oily. The pho was quite good too, it wasn’t the strongest flavor but I like the taste and feel very comfortable eating the noodle and soup. Saigon Ice Coffee was good too. It was sweet but not too much, at least it’s good to me and I can still taste coffee. Only comment is the place is slightly crowded and quite close to each table but overall still highly recommended.

The food was amazing but I had the worst case of diarrhea 5 minutes into the meal. It was like nothing i had ever experienced before. I kept trying to finish my loveley spicy chicken curry but every moutfull was painful. Why is it that the most lovely things in life come with a price? Didn't expect to have an extestential crisis at Pho on a wednesday eveing at 5:00pm but I'm glad I did. I apologise for the mess to staff but I will be sure to be returning for that oh so delicious curry. I dream about it often between thinking about Kafka and Sylvia's Plath.

Having spent four years living in Vietnam I am regularly disappointed by Vietnamese restaurants in the UK but the meal I had tonight was probably the best I have had since leaving there. Beef phở with quẩy was perfect. The starter platter was delicious and the young staff were delightful. All very authentic which is not a given. Highly recommend and will be back. They DO take cards, despite the Google overview saying they don't.

Had the misfortune to try this restaurant out in Fulham. Starters were so bland and tasteless, the best thing about it was the bottle of supermarket chilli sauce on the table. Horrendous music played too loudly was very off putting and decided to cancel main course and leave. Will avoid this chain restaurant and advice you not to try. Completely void of any flavour

🍜Beef Soup Pho ⭐️Rate: 7/10 The soup is quite light in flavour but at least I won’t feel very thirsty after meal. Seems like it didn’t have much MSG added. The beef slices are super thin cu. It would be better if they are thick slices.

Something has gone badly wrong since earlier reviews of this restaurant. We went there for the first time as we were staying nearby and enjoy Asian food. The noodle dish I chose was bland, noodles overcooked and greasy and hardly any taste. I ate it, because I was hungry. My husband's dish wasn’t much better. The glass of red wine we had was also pretty ropey. We won’t be coming back, sadly.

I found the duck rice and lotus root salad here quite delicious. But beef noodle soup is unacceptable when the restaurant puts 1 spoon of satay in the bowl of noodles like that, it's too spicy, I'm Vietnamese and I can't even eat it so I have to skim it all off, not to mention foreigners. When they eat, they find that their Vietnamese food is not delicious. They should put it in separate dishes, not just put them in the bowl like that. And for spring rolls, the peanut dipping sauce is too sweet, I think reducing the sweetness will make it taste better. I give my opinion and hope the restaurant will improve and develop further.

Delicious phó, exactly what I was hoping for and I'm picky about phó. Authentic and the Phó can also be ordered with raw meat. The portion was also big, really great. The ambience was also good for the price category, a bit cramped for my taste but it's London after all. The service was very nice and accommodating and, in my opinion, the best price-performance ratio in London so far! Therefore, for me, it deserves so many stars! The other dishes also looked excellent and authentic. I would go again :) So thank you for the delicious food ♡

Hugely disappointing meals. There were four of us in the party, we all had different noodle dishes. We all had the same opinion of the food. The food was bland, tasteless and cooked in far too much oil; giving an exceptionally greasy meal. We gave feedback to the owner concerning the lack of flavour of the food; to be told that garlic, ginger and other spices are not used in Vietnamese cuisine. So make of that, what you will. If you are in the market for Vietnamese food in Greenwich, Pho Street is a much better option.

It's next to our vet. We ordered 2 Pho, beef brisket & raw beef. Brisket is very tender and tasty. Would love to come again.

Family run Vietnamese restaurant in the Greenwich area. They have quite a few seafood options- salted egg lobster, prawn, squid. There's also meat options like roast duck and pork belly. Sides include mango salad. Service charge added on the bill at the end as usual, but if it's not been good service ask for it to be taken off. There's been times they forgot food or completely messed up group orders and we refused to pay the service as it's not merited. They didn't really resolve the issues on their own and we had to prod. So in that circumstance it's not fair to even include it, and we had to say we wanted it removed.

Rude waiter and place was not clean. Food was dry and when I said something they gave attitude towards my opinion on the cooking absolutely bad place to go don’t recommend it

Had Sunday lunch there. Poor customer service; had to remind about my request to bring more napkins twice. Staff has basic English skills; not able to describe the meals on the menu in greater details. Dirty floor; and no tissues in the rest rooms. Don't recommend.

Fantastic experience all round. They looked completely full but still managed to fit us in, and I'm so glad because the food was amazing. We shared summer rolls (tofu), which were lovely and refreshing with a beautiful dipping sauce. I then had the prawn curry, which was stellar, though hottish if that isn't your thing. My partner had prawn pho. I tried the broth, and wow. With nice, fresh bean sprouts, chillis, lime. and coriander. Each had a beer, and it all came in at under £50 even with the service charge. I would definitely come here again when I next visit Greenwich!

In "Pho City", which is also supposedly a lobster bar, I was drawn to try their lobster pho, but to my disappointment all the lobster dishes were sold out. I then asked regarding the roast duck, but was told all the roast dishes are sold out too. This was at 19:00 on a weekday. So instead I ordered the mixed special pho. Tastewise it was okay, portion sizes were good, but I was not impressed by the presentation at all. All the meat was sunk below the noodles, and the greens and beansprouts as well as the extra egg I ordered came separately. The server forgot the tap water that was ordered and she started taking away my food while I was still chewing. The vibe of the place was authentic, unless seated downstairs where it's London Underground themed.

This place is independently owned by a Vietnamese family. Food is served fast, piping hot and homely. Tables are quite close together so privacy is limited for conversations. Had the beef brisket and was very happy with it.

BEWARE…”accidentally” put on service charge to a takeaway! I only noticed after I paid. Initially, somehow blamed me then accepted it was his fault and difference refunded.

I went here for Sunday dinner with an empty stomach. The amazing foods here treated me well. I had very special roast duck( which duck I have never taste the same at somewhere else… it’s unique). I love the salad(my favourite ) and some “Bun dau mam tom“. The atmosphere combines Morden and classic. The service is so good. All staff were looking after all customers very well as I can see. They are very friendly. Not much food left cause we can finish all and staff ask us if I want to take away. That’s so nice. Anyway I recommend you guy come here and try. They have so many food for you to choose. Other thing is they serve the food so quick that make me so surprised. I never see any where quick like that. Love this restaurant! 🥰

I recently visited Pho City for dinner and the overall experience was good. The staff were friendly, the atmoshere was good and so was the food. The roast duck dish was the best as it was tender and flavoursome but I felt like the Pho fish was a bit bland.

Been here m ..see many times! A nice casual dining experience, preparation is fast, food is good, sometimes they are out of delicacies but I see that as a testification to the pupolarity anf not overstocking to freeze and profit.

I booked a table through the Fork app that gives us 20% offer. However, the server did not have any knowledge of our reservation. That might be possible because I was keen enough to investigate the receipt. I still don’t understand why the service charge is charged depending on the “original price”. That’s a really weird calculation. Don’t advertise your restaurant on the Fork app which is one of my favourite unless you describe the policy exactly. I guess I was trapped in.

Came here for a pre cinema meal. Great service and lovely vietnamese menu with lots of choice. Service was good and server polite and very helpful. We ordered some sides/starters and noodles which came together which took us aback a little as the table was very full but the server did check back and take the empties away. Great find.

Just walked in here and ordered chicken wings, spring roll, two beef pho, one pork belly and spring roll cold vermicelli and iced vietnamese coffee. Food and drinks are both authentic and amazing. I especially recommend the chicken wing and the coffee. I will come back for the salted egg lobster too!

Had tofu pho and it was really nice and reasonable price, definitely recommend. Also can get unlimited jasmine tea for £2 which is good too.

Visited today for lunch. Great little restaurant, short walk from Greenwich Market. Tasty authentic food. Waiter was very attentive, great service. Would definitely recommend and return here again.

I was incredibly surprised by London having such an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I felt as if I was back in Vietnam having my own country cuisine again; I’ve noticed that the staff are super polite and the food is absolutely delicious. The prices for these foods aren’t even expensive and I truly believe it’s a total bargain to pay for this kind of price whilst being served amazing food like this.

Today, my family and I went to go eat the lobster, pho and roast duck. Its possibly one of the most freshest things I've eaten in a restaurant; the prices can't be beaten here - I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

Went here for dinner and we ordered a range of dishes which were all really delicious. In particular, the beef pho, salt and pepper squid, salted egg lobster and roast duck were the main stars! Make sure to get the picked carrot and daikon as well to cut through the tasty fried dishes. I really recommend coming here for the beef pho as the broth was authentic and flavoursome.
