Phins Pantry in Falkirk

Would 100% recommend here for a meal, staff lovely & attentive, service 5 * & meal was outstanding, best bar meal we have had in a very long time, freshly cooked & homemade!!

Visiting the temporary exhibition but we found it too hot and crowded. The shop has gone unfortunately. On the plus side we received a warm welcome from the staff. We did not visit the cafe this time.

I ordered a starter and a main meal, both arrived at the same time, the server told me I couldn't swap chips for mash, reluctantly I took chips but there was salt on the chips, if I want salt (which I don't like) I can put it on myself, the whole operation including the drinks side seem amateur

First time here. Lovely place with plenty parking. Clean and welcoming inside. Staff were friendly. Service was excellent. Portions were massive, would only order a main next time and skip the starter. Ended up leaving half the meal. Mushroom starter, amazing. Not keen on the peppercorn sauce with the haggis fritters, more like a thick dark gravy. Macaroni tastes great, just needed the sauce to be thicker as quite runny. Chicken Balmoral was good, but again with the sauce, more gravy like. Best coleslaw I've had in a while, side order. Two starters, two mains and two colas, just over £60. We would go back.

Absolutely amazing food, you can tell the chef takes pride in what he does. Thats what makes a good restaurant. 10/10 from me, and i come here regularly and have never once been disappointed. If you are in falkirk and hungry, don’t waste your time with anywhere else, this is the spot. Price is good, food served piping hot and service was good. Some bruschetta on the menu for a starter would be my only recommendation. 100% recommending to friends and family.
