Popped in here as I was visiting the city, was looking for something different from the usual franchise places...Never had a Philly cheese steak till today....Very tasty indeed and the young lady behind the counter was very friendly and added to a happy eating experience.

Chips were amazing, first time eating a cheesesteak and it was also great. Lovely staff.

I would consider myself a bit of a food critic very fussy about it but this place hit the spot best grub about and amazing customer service ,I will definitely be back

Under-seasoned and over-priced. Good decorations but no music or atmosphere. £27.80 for two Philly cheesesteaks and two soft drinks. No fries. Food was disappointing, tasteless and underwhelming. The steak was good quality meat but not seasoned at all. Mushrooms, onions and cheese sauce tasted of nothing. For this price, I expected to be hit over the head with favours. I can understand using pickles from a jar and a bap from Tesco, but for this price at least make the beef and cheese sauce taste good/unique.

Not sure why this can be rated at any other score than 1. I got the rib eye and it’s the worst meal that I ever had. Even the one at Gregg is better. This is like some diced beef (can’t taste the beef), with some melty liquid, and some tasteless onion and pickles. The decorations are all nice and American, the food is simply terrible. Maybe I ordered at the end of the day and the chef had left, but that was appalling. I ordered to take away so couldn’t return. And I will never

Fries were nice but what they presented as a 'Philly cheese steak' was horrible. Cold, tasteless, gristles of meat, gloopy cheese. Paid £15 (with discount) for the pleasure. Save your money youd get better pub grub for a similar price anywhere else in the city.

Lovely lady that served us was well cool, theu had exactly what we wanted.. A Philly Cheese Steak, and we weren't disappointed. Delicious soft bread tool, contains Steak meat cooked perfectly, with cheese, also onions and gherkins. Fries were awesome too. Lovely stuff!!

Very poor. Hardly any steak, lots of gloop. Heinz ketchup bottles refilled with cheap horrible ketchup. Very disappointed. Went to Greggs afterwards. £13.99 rip off

Called into phillypump on Upper Queens Street today for lunch, well more like brunch 🙈🙈 went with a philly cheesesteak with fries *(SKIN ON mmmmm) and a can of crush pineapple. Now I've never had a cheesesteak in Philly so I can only compare it to the copious amounts of them I loved when I lived in Canada!!!! This was delicious!!!! The steak was tender, not rubbery, perfectly balanced flavours, fresh light bread and the homemade cheesewhiz was amazing!!!! Next time I'll be grabbing some of it to dip the fries into!!! 😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛 Staff were friendly, approachable and more than happy to answer any queries.

I am from Philly and stopped in on NFL playoff Sunday out of respect for the Eagles and a taste of home. Got a Cheesesteak with onions and their cheese wiz which was surprisingly and deliciously light. Didn’t taste like the thick, salty tradition wiz we have in Philly and was honestly so much better. Steak was cooked fresh and perfectly cooked. Most cheesesteaks in Philly are usually overcooked and dry and this streak was juicy and flavorful. The bread was lightly toasted and was light and airy. At first I thought it might be too light but it turned out to be really fantastic. This is the type of bread that would be great all on its on! And unlike the traditional Italian roll that is used in Philly, which can be soft and a little chewy, this bread was just right. A truly delicious take on the Philly cheesesteak, familiar in all the right ways, but deliciously unique at the same time. Highly recommend!!

Absolute quality stuff and I haven't been to Philly but have watched enough man V food etc to know that it looked authentic and tasted amazing. Great quality ribeye steak and fantastic bread and homemade cheese sauce. Great service aswell. Will definitely be back.

We stumbled upon this great little place after being refused entry to Boojums because we didn't have the correct covid passports. But we were so glad we ended up here. Loads of character, friendly staff and great food. Will definitely be back.

Wow! what a place, Superb food at fantastic prices. You will never leave here hungry. The Smashed Burger amazing come with all toppings free and hand cut chips. The staff are amazing, very helpful and friendly. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Over 10 years I've lived in Belfast and not been able to find a real Philly Cheesesteak!! now finally there's somewhere in Belfast that actually does real authentic Philly Cheesesteaks, amazing cheez whiz, Hand cut fries 🍟 tried 10/10 it for first time in Belfast and already went back today!

Very disappointed with The Allotment Belfast. I rang to make a reservation for Monday 17th February for 4 people. We all travelled 60 miles to arrive at a the Allotment & found that the shutters were down & there was no one about to talk to. A passing customer from another shop informed us they were closed on a Monday. They did NOT state this when I rang to reserve a table. Very disappointed. Would NOT recommend at all!!!! Steer clear!!!!!

A hidden gem in the city centre

Best place to enjoy flavoured food and friendly staff without forgetting the owner who's is himself the chef that can be around tables chatting to customers. He knows his job perfectly. Visiting the place at least 3 mornings for large breakfast and twice a month for lovely dinner. Great place to relax.

Came for Christmas Dinner with a large group. Food was incredibly good and I'd love to go back.

Nice food and staff, but the place looked tired and the bathroom never had soap. Both the cook and hostess used the bathroom multiple times. Hopefully the Men's room that the cook used had soap. The food was not overpriced and was good for how much we paid.

Waiting, waiting, waiting oh let's guess its more important to clear tables than to take care of your customers or even acknowledge them! Was busy when we came in though. Icing on the cake serving someone else who's just come in when we were sat for over fifteen minutes, after a couple of prompts we finally got served. You guys need to sort a system out. A simple hello and sorry guys we are a bit busy would suffice! No loo roll in the ladies neither its simple to sort these little things out! Food was lovely though.

Breakfast plate wasn't hot enough - just luke warm. The fried egg was very small & the soda bread & soda scone was NOT soggy with grease & the small fried egg wasn't frizled up - great Irish breakfast.

Wonderful small bistro. Limited seating, it's best to reserve on a Sunday morning. I ordered the Full Breakfast (egg, 2 types of sausages, mushrooms,grilled tomato, a pancake and 2 types of bread). My 1st traditional Irish breakfast! The food came quickly and was delicious. I recommend it for meat lovers!
