Phat Phuc Noodle Bar in Kensington and Chelsea

Visited on Sunday lunchtime 1pm, queued for 25 minute in the rain but food came within 5 minutes of ordering. Very simple menu and open kitchen cooking and some outdoor tables for dining. Laksa and pho was amazing and decent price. Toilet is available but need key to access.

Really cute little spot with great service. There was quite a line to get in but didn’t take too long and the food came out pretty quick! Would definitely go again just because it’s amazing value for money. Ordered the laksa (pictured), spring rolls and mango sticky rice.

Lovely spot for a laksa. However, they have quite a limited menu so it was disappointing that they didn’t even have any bun on there. I wouldn’t recommend the noodle salad, have a laksa.

Chinese people don’t lie to Chinese people, pho is super delicious. The fried noodles are a bit sweet, maybe Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai prefer it.

It’s a really, really delicious restaurant. If you like flavors with spices, be sure to try laksa with shrimp! The staff are very friendly and the prices are reasonable🫠 If I had known in advance, I would have come every day... … Be sure to go!!!!!!

Very limited menu expensive and not all that great.

I ordered the chicken and beef pho they both are bland and the meat quality was not up to par. The Laksa was very watered down and tasted like instant laksa from the grocery store. I took back the beef pho and the “boss” brushed the whole situation. Very unprofessional and didn’t even apologise. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! P.s the hostess was very passive aggressive. I kindly asked to move to a table inside the tent and she proceeded to say it’s reserved. When there wasn’t even a reserved sign.

My favourite local spot with the best laksa in London! The steamed shrimp dim sum makes for a delicious starter, and the mango rice dessert is good too. They always take great care of me every time that I return as a loyal customer.

The Pho was okay not great, the laksa was better but not special. Queuing here was atrocious. There were 4 of us waiting to be seated for a while and the hostess was a bit rude. I would not visit again.

The laksa was really good one of the best ones I've eaten. BUT the Pho was very average and the service was awful. They were rude and although their seating area is all outside and are dog friendly they wouldn't sit us "inside" i.e. under the tent, and they were waiting for the 1 table "outside" to be empty. So although there were at least 10 tables empty, they chose to put the people behind us first, so in the end we had to wait over 45 mins even though our turn was 10 mins after we joined the queue. We also had a toddler with us that got cranky and instead of prioritising us (with our turn) they were extremely rude and unhelpful. I will definitely not go back nor recommend it!

Fast service and excellent pho!

Finally checkout out this place, they only open 10-6 so have to come on the weekend. The entrance is right next to a flower shop. First of all they don’t have service charge, because there’s practically no service. I came at 1pm and there was already a queue, expect roughly 20mins wait. The place is busy with a unique street food feel. While you are in the queue, you might be asked if anyone wants to sit at the bar, inside(referring to the tent) or outside(open space next to tent) when seats become available. Once you got a seat, you’re expected to go to the bar and place the order yourself (no one told me this, I asked person next to me). Make a note of your table number which is written on the table with sharpie - they will ask this when you place the order. You have two noodle choices for laksa, I think the egg noodles would be too soft for me so I went for the rice noodles prawn laksa. Portion is on the small side, but taste of the soup and generous toppings make up for it, the prawns were jumble and crunchy, whole basils and herbs on top, slightly spicy coconut soup was spot on.

Didn’t expect to come across authentic Vietnamese food in Southwest London! I had the prawn laksa, and it was soooo tasty and sophisticated, just how true Asian food should be. It made me feel like I was travelling to Southeast Asia.

Wonderful, well priced oriental food!!! I really loved the laksa and the pork bun. Dessert was lovely too. Highly recommend it!!!

Prawn Laksa was very good. It definitely needs to be tried. The employees were very attentive. The price was affordable, the portion was large.

Pho was really nice. Wouldnt recommend the egg noodles. It's probably fresh but not slurpy. Its just eating the noodles separately from the broth.

Hard to beat a low key venue that just delivers tasty food. Queued up for around 20mins at 1pm on a Sunday which was faster than we expected. Order up at the kitchen and the food comes out pretty soon after. Tried 3 entrees and 2 mains...they all hit the spot. Bonus points for funny name

Opining as a Singaporean - Laksa is decent, but nothing to write home about. Your standard Singaporean food court laksa. Pho is not very good. Get it at Song Que instead. Mango sticky rice is decent. You decide whether it is worth queuing for all these for 20min on weekends.

You can get noodles for just over 10 pounds. It has a lot of ingredients and feels like a good value, and the taste was delicious without any strange taste. Since you'll be eating outdoors, we recommend going during the warmer months of spring and summer.

It has to be worst Vietnamese I have had in London, the first time in my life I have been served Bun Chay - Vietnamese noodle salad - with over cooked tasteless chicken chunks over a bowl of random unseasoned European style rainbow salad - at the bottom, it’s a small portion of warm soggy egg noodles - wow - still shocked by the good reviews , maybe it’s a Chelsea thing …

The food and service is very good. The outdoor seating location is very dirty and needs a thorough deep clean and refurbishment.

This place is not worth the hype. One should manage expectations. We had the Mee Laksa (This has a nice taste but was not spicy like more authentic versions) and the Beef Pho (This was disappointing as it lacked flavour and felt very average). I enjoyed the ambiance -relaxed and fun and the staff were friendly. However the food was average, we had to queue and couldn't help but feel there are better options in London.

Phở đặc biệt wasn't authentic, however wasn't awful either. The broth wasn't a Vietnamese clear broth like you'd hope for. The staff were friendly enough and the outside dining area was a nice experience in the humidity.

It's my first time eating laksa and it's so delicious that I'm writing a review as soon as I eat it. The rice noodles were a bit more delicious! If I get a chance during my trip, I want to come back and try dumplings.

Holy Phuc that was delicious! Beautifully orchestrated and organised chaos, amazing food and good fun on a nice summers day. Would highly recommend and well worth queuing - queue moved fast for us today 🙌 We had fried noodles, Laksa, Dim sum and Pork buns. All different but equally delicious 😋

A locals secret location. Super tasty food and authentic atmosphere. Usually a long queue around lunchtime as many office workers get lunch there but it’s pretty chill outside these hours.

Loved the fried rice and the beef! The broccoli was bland, just steamed and not stir fried. The custard buns were just alright.

Even when waiting in line, turnover is fast. Food came out quickly. Worth a try. The quantity is not large. You might miss it because you have to go down the stairs.

Foods are good although not exceptional. Would recommend the Prawn Mee Laksa. Delicious. The queue on the weekend can be crazy during lunchtime.

Restaurant is v. popular with locals and hidden from the Kings rd. Queued for 2 mins. Dishes arrived in ten mins. Staff are always smiling and saying hi. Great if you're short of time and want to be served quickly.

As a self-proclaimed pho connoisseur with over 40 pho spots tried around the world, I have to say this was probably the most disappointing experience I've had. The broth was shockingly bland. Even the pho I make at home has a better flavor profile than what I was served here. Sadly, this place just didn't measure up. Also, I'm not sure why they call themselves a vietnamese place while serving laksa as one of their main dishes.

Coming here was the best option! I enjoyed my food soo much and will be coming here more often. I ordered Chicken Pho then I was able to add soy sauce and chilli oil to suit my taste. The scenery makes you feel like you are in Hanoi! It was very straight forward to order your food and be seated. The welcoming waitress was soo lovely and the staff were very helpful.

It was my first time trying authentic Vietnamese food and it was delicious. I had the prawn Laksa and the spring rolls…..yummy🤩. I highly recommend this place. Service was great and quick and the price is very affordable. Will return for more delicious food.

A very special Vietnamese restaurant! The taste is quite good. It is said that it has been opened here for 30 years... There is always a long queue... Remember, don't eat too late because it closes at 6pm

Food was amazing and authentic but the portion is really small. Big eater like myself was not full at all. But the broth and the flavour is impeccable.

We waited in line for about 15 minutes, the line moves pretty fast. You order at the window and the food comes relatively quickly. We got the vegetarian spring rolls but the highlight was the laksa with egg noodles and prawns. The broth was so flavourful and with a dash of their red chilli sauce it’s the perfect lunch.

Absolutely delicious! I went 4 times in a week it was so good. Don’t mind the line too much, it moves fast. The Mee Laksa and Dim Sum are incredible.

There’s always a queue so be prepared to wait 20-30 mins. Food is totally worth it - fresh and delicious and great portion sizes. I would highly recommend the prawn laksa and the beef pho!

Phat Phil does not need my review, you do. First discovered this place 20 years ago and the quality and popularity still exceeds. Best Thai food you can find served quickly and simply. Flavor heaven.

Absolutely delicious. Always a massive queue and well worth the wait. Went on a Monday about 3pm and wasn't to bad a wait about 3 people in front but they let us through before everyone ad we were only a party of 2. Worth the hype Friendly staff and food came within about 5 minutes of sitting down.

Fun experience of street food. Portions were good and tasty. We really liked the laksa but the rice was a bit bland in the rice dish . The dessert wasn't great (sticky mango rice) but we liked it overall.

A very delicious casual Vietnamese restaurant. When I visited on a Sunday at 1pm, there was a line and I could feel how popular it was. The waiting time was about 10 minutes. It's an outdoor restaurant, and most of the seats are under tents, so you can enjoy it even on rainy days. Of all the things I ate this time, the laksa was the most delicious! This is the first time I've had such delicious laksa in London. It's very casual and the staff were friendly and helpful. This is a restaurant I would like to recommend!

I’ve been wanting to come here for ages but have been put off by the queue, when I walked past there wasn’t one so I jumped straight in… the food was great and the service was equally as amazing. I now understand why it has such a long line and feel it is definitely worth the wait! Really nice place and very affordable I will be returning.

Go down a set of steps for fresh, steaming delicious food, in this sweet tucked away gem of a place. Generous portions and good value for money, especially for Chelsea.

Run by Asian people but taste not so authentic. Had high hopes after seeing all the recommendations but prawn laksa and beef pho were too bland. Not enough taste. Not worth to wait in the queue. Prawn dimsum was good but not that different from Chinese restaurant anywhere in London. Ordering system was quite confusing as well. Staff tells you the table number when you’re seated but it’s not written on it. By the time I went to order, I was doubting what number it was and asked other staff. She couldn’t speak English so it was quite frustrating for both her and I.

Good tasting food, hygiene questionable, the woman who is seating people is very loud and bossy as to where you should sit and not taking into account diners preference - whether you want some space and not be crammed with other strangers in the same table is not an option

Ordered food via Deliveroo and it did not taste. It had a bad smell to it which made it impossible to eat. The taste did not do the justice either. Looking at the reviews from fellow reviewers, I may give it another try, dine in this time.

Excellent Laksa and Mee-Laksa. Very popular, always a queue upfront, but the restaurant staff is very efficient and keeps everything moving along quite speedily. The sticky rice with mango is very good too.

Expect to wait more than 20 to 30 mins on a weekend afternoon at 3pm. Pho was ok and mee laksa is good! It is just maybe groups of people just relaxing after meals for long time like for entire 20 to 30 mins despite a perpetual long queue. Food takes less than 2 mins to arrive woah. Just saying. Laksa is from Singapore. Dim sum is from Hong Kong. Mango sticky rice is from Thailand. Not authentic although yummy. That is all that matters right?

Really great noodles, if you come here at the right time it is quick service, but for a weekday lunch be prepared to wait. I only wish they were open later!

Found this by accident. It's definitely deserves all the great reviews. I think it might be one of the best south east Asian. The laksa is one of the best I had. It's such a great atmosphere and service. Highly recommend.

The restaurant is located below ground level, offering both outdoor and indoor seating, though the indoor area is essentially a tent. We visited on a Friday afternoon after Chelsea in Bloom. Although there was a long queue, it moved quite quickly. A staff member assigns you a table number, and you place your order at the counter, where a Cantonese-speaking manager takes your order and the food is brought to your table. The menu goes beyond Vietnamese cuisine, featuring Singaporean laksa, Cantonese dim sum, Chinese fried noodles, Thai mango sticky rice, and, of course, Vietnamese pho. I ordered the prawn laksa noodles, which is a Singaporean/Malaysian dish. The prawns were fresh and shell-free, and the broth was rich with coconut milk and mildly spicy. While not as good as those from Roti King, it was satisfactory. Priced at £11, it seemed reasonable, but the portion was quite small, about half of what you’d get in Singapore or Malaysia. I also tried the mango sticky rice. The rice was soft and tasty, but the mango was not very sweet, making it inferior to what you'd find at a Thai restaurant. This dish cost £8. Overall, the experience was quite good, especially with no service charge. However, the portions could be more generous.

Cutely tucked away, quick service and friendly staff.. I had the chicken laksa, could have been more flavoursome and spicy but warmed me up on a wet afternoon. Prawn har kau dumplings were decent. I’ve been wanting to go to this place for a while, I’m glad I did but if I’m honest, I won’t be rushing to go back again.
