the food takes a long time to be ready, I've seen even for delivery the time I spent there, the poor drivers spend 30 to 40 minutes waiting for an order, imagine these costumers who have to wait all that time, because they give preference always for the costumers who are in the restaurant and always ask the drivers to wait, imagine what I didn't witness.

I placed an order just now, my name is J…, they take a long time to place orders for delivery and they keep saying that the driver is not there, the driver showed me photos of the time he arrived and the time he collected my order, they are not there prioritizing delivery only to customers who are on site, the driver was waiting for more than 40 minutes and I contacted the driver, he told me that he was waiting for my order and they said that the driver was not there, very disorganized, I need to improve minus one customer who place orders at this location

It takes a long time to place the order for delivery, the drivers spend 20 to 60 minutes waiting for orders and they prioritize people who go to the location, but those who place the order via the app are also customers, just like those at the location pay even more for receive the order at home, you need to pay extra attention to delivery as there are many deliveries to the place and you don't know how to deal with it

Do not order from here via delivery! Appalling service!! I ordered through Uber eats around 7:20pm and still have not received my order. It’s been well over an hour! I contacted the driver who informed me he had waited over 30mins for my order and still has not received it. His words of the Kebeb shop were ‘ busy and messy’ and priority was given to walk in customers. The driver shortly left. I am unable to cancel the order and I have another driver who has taken up the order and still waiting. If this was the case, my order should have been cancelled immediately if they could not take on the demand. I will no longer be ordering food with them and I am pretty sure they will lose a lot of on-line customers if this is the appalling service they continue to give. To the owners- good service goes along way and if your business drop you know why!

How can it take 2 hours for a single chicken kebab? I've tried a few times and always have the same result, ridiculously long wait times. This place just take the mick don't use them go somewhere else. Total joke.

Visited three weeks ago. Live in the north east of England now but grew up in Bromley, and used to be a regular here from the time it opened until I left the area. It never disappointed then and still doesn’t now 30 years on. The chicken kebab is and always has been a reliable. I’ve tried others elsewhere, these are the best. When I’m in the area I always stop here. Don’t get a delivery, go and visit and get a takeaway. Eat in the car or nearby. Cannot recommend the place enough. Nice people behind the counter.

Have always ordered from here but 3rd time in a row now something has been wrong with my order. Today half of my order was not even delivered so I called them to which I was just left waiting on the phone for over 6 minutes while he was apparently checking my order and all I heard was children playing through the phone then he cut me off. I tried calling back multiple times I finally got through and the bloke was very rude I told him what I was missing in my order and what was happening about it and his reply was " what do you want me to do about? I'm busy I can't help you" " all I can say is let me wait until its less busy ill call you back" Will not be ordering from them again.

We paid £35 for a donner and chips Lamb shish Halloumi And it was terrible burnt dry meat No chilli sauce An absolute rip off Tried calling to resolve but they hung up Avoid at all costs.... Totally gone downhill all our food was cold rang at 6.40 was told 20 minutes hour later food was ready after waiting around for 30 minutes. I've been coming here since they opened I won't be coming back. I get it you need just eat etc but you bypassed ours for it. You need to look after your loyal customers

Over an hour an no food delivered. First and last time I use this place again. According to app the food has been waiting for a driver for 50minutes. I have no idea what state the food will be in when it arrives. Update - food is lukewarm and chips a day onions rings are soggy. Never again is not worth the £40 I paid. My daughter refuses to even touch the chips. Update: 8/May To owner, you do realise that your responsibilities do not end after you cook the food right? You are responsibile to the point of delivery. You were fully aware that the divers were delayed so you could have (shock horror) remade the food as any respectable food place knows fried food will become cold, wet and soggy if left for an amount of time. Yet you still sent out the food in that manner. I wonder what HSE would find if they visited. As for never ordering again, if that's the standard of food you are willing to send out then I'd pass before I get a bout of gastroenteritis. Quite clearly a poorly managed business and all 5 star reviews were done by your friends. Potential customers need to know the truth.

Sold me more than what I was planning to buy, which in its self is awesome, but then some how tried to make it seem ok that £5 + £5.50 equals £12 Addition: we got quoted £5 for doner, and the price on the board (and the website) for chicken nugget and chips is £5.50. Still not sure how we got to £12?

I have used pettswood kebab house for over 20 years. Always spot on with their food, fresh, hot, with generous portions, and their customer service is always first class. You can order over the phone to avoid any disappointment.

Incorrect order was sent but immediately rectified by the very friendly and polite staff - to add, I never eat lamb donner kebab (never usually like it) however, their lamb donner was extremely tasty and I really enjoyed it! so anyone who loves a lamb donner I'm sure you'd enjoy theirs! I wanted to order a Takeaway delivery directly, without using the apps Deliveroo and Uber Eats (as they are expensive), but was unable to do so. What's the point in having your own website, if customers can't order a delivery through it? I can order food directly from Fab Kebab and El Kervan, so why don't you offer this service? I decided to visit your Takeaway in person and was going to spend about £40, as I was ordering food for 5 people. I saw a sign stating that you only accept cash payments, so I walked straight out again. For a start, Covid guidance for hospitality venues states that contactless payment should be made whenever possible. Why have you decided to ignore this advice, when all the other Kebab shops in Petts Wood and Orpington accept card payment? At the very least you should be giving your customers the choice of paying by debit card for larger amounts. Considering there are no Banks left in Petts Wood, that the cashpoints next door charge a fee and that contactless is quicker, safer and easier, why don't you give customers the option to pay that way in your Takeaway?

Anybody looking to order I advise to go on the website and not used Deliveroo or UberEats as their prices are through the roof. I went to order last night through Deliveroo and the total amount was £32 whereas ordering through the website ended up costing £23. The order was 2 Small Chicken Shish, Large Chips, Small box of Donner meat and a pot of Chilli Sauce. DO NOT USE DELIVEROO OR UBEREATS!

Best kebab shop I’ve ever been too. Food is great and are always friendly. Only issue I have is I have often seen a staff member dealing with cash and then touching the food they are giving to myself/ others. Considering money is an object that carries a lot of bacteria (even when there is not a pandemic) I find it disgusting that they would do this, particularly since they are supposed to be 5* food hygiene. Is it really that hard to just have one person dealing with taking money and the other staff exclusively dealing with the food? As I say I love this kebab shop but cannot bring myself to buy food from there since I’ve noticed this. Would be more than happy to delete my review once I witness this doesn’t happen

Something not right in this place. Always got good service and good food. Today 16 April 21 service terrible and food not nice. I had chicken shish, was very salty and tasetless. All end in the bin.

A mid-standard kebab, it wasn't the worst I've ever had nor was it the best. I found the lamb shish quite chewy but the portion sizes were fair and the salad was crunchy and fresh. The chips were golden crisp and I can't fault them.

Waiting for my delivery ordered at 16.50 and was told between 17 .30 /18.10 it’s now 18.35 never going to order from there again don’t even want it now had to feed the kids

Best kebab around, not too expensive but it’s worth the £1 or so more than others because of the sheer quality and taste.

Meat is home made and not pre bought and a new skewer is put on everyday. My guilty pleasure and the only place I would get a kebab as it won't make my guts ache the next day. Wonderful family run business.
