Peterborough Services - Extra in Huntingdonshire

My partner just wanted a cup of tea in a cup. Plenty different food & drinks places with a central seating. Nice clean toilets with a shower area too.

Visited sunday evening. Very long queues, over priced food, except for the noodle bar which was ok but not relevant to what we needed. Couldn't park in a disabled bay. The rest of the car park was also full. Had to drive round to find a space. Outside was filthy and full of litter. Stayed 10 mins and had to leave to find somewhere else.

Decent pit stop. Clean 🙂. Ample parking 🚗. Good range of eating places 🍽. Children's play area 🛝. Picnicking area . Superfast car chargers. Place to pray too 🧎

It's not a bad parking lot, but for 33 pounds for 15 hours of parking, I also expect security, and there certainly isn't any here, because anyone can get to the truck parking lot. The offer of restaurants is large and you can find something for everyone.

Do not fill up petrol here it's a con. I paid £1.77 for diesel 100 yards down rd £1.43

This is a good petrol station/service's but the fuel is more expensive than other shell petrol stations I'm guessing it's because of it's location...

Visited today at 12pm & I have never seen it as busy. Car park a little manic. Long queues at all the food outlets but McDonald's moved well.

Nice and Clean serivces, plus great toilets and shower Facilities. Very helpful staff on site and willing to help the customers.

I stop here pretty frequently and it's not an unpleasant experience - there's usually plenty of parking although the spaces can be tight for larger cars and, at peak times, it can be a faff getting out. Good selection of eateries and well maintained toilets which have recently been upgraded. Fuel and food prices are as you'd expect for a motorway services.

Decent amount of outlets to choose from, but just about coping with the heavy use on this Sunday evening.

Car park was chaos, but nothing unexpected there unfortunately. Plenty of places to eat. Seemed to be a bit of a lack of space to sit and eat when busy. Plenty of toilets.

Good pull in with the caravan. Services are excellent.

A good service station with a charger that works and charged the car in good time. Reduced flapjack bites at the M&S made this service stop less costly than some we have experienced. All in all not a bad place to stop en route.

Busy and typical UK motorway services. Everything you need for a quick stop if you don't mind paying through the nose for a substandard product. Costa Coffee serve very expensive but mediocre coffee. I ordered an expresso coffee and watched as the barista (I use the term loosely) let a quantity of ground coffee miss the portafilter completely - the resulting drink was thin and had no crema whatsoever. The food was ok just overpriced. Staff (2) seemed to think filling the fridge with milk cartons was more important than serving the huge queue!

Very impressed. Clean beyond belief, a great choice of eating outlets with a quick turnaround and friendly staff. Signposting into the car parking area could well do with a replan because it’s awful.

First time using this service area and we were so happy with the variety of restaurants and clean toilets that not only went again on return, but also highly recommended it to friends and family.

The night passed peacefully. Paid parking, but no voucher. The lighting works all night long. Toilets clean. 5 or 6 showers with sink and mirror. I was standing in a parking lot in a "field", next to the forest, I don't know what it's like at night.

Nice enough, but not enough choices apart from the usual fast foods . . Be nice to have some restaurants or cafes like it had before

7:30 pm, a busy buzz of people, but not over crowded or excessively noisy. A choice of 6 places to get food and drink from while the car is charging.

Very busy when we visited. Lots of options of eateries. Services kept clean. Would certainly visit again when I the area.

This is the effect in the morning. Although this is not new on websites in the UK, but apart from paying for parking and the man who runs around writing down and checking whether the paid parking, you should invest in someone who guards the place at night...

Overly busy with queuing for cars to park. Very busy inside with mainly national chain food stores such as McD, KFC, etc. If you want something more nutricious, try Fresh. Best to sit upstairs on the balcony, the floor is too crowded

Our favourite place for breakfast when travelling up/down the A1.

Travelled down on Sunday 25th August, used these facilities. Both the main baby change room and baby change table closed, and no baby change provided in the men's toilet. Then visited again on the way back up on Wednesday 28th August and they were still closed. No temporary alternatives signposted, didn't feel appropriate to change in the prayer room or the adult changing places space. Had to change the baby in the car as there was nowhere else save for the eating space. If closed for maintenance at least provide a temporary alternative for families.

Clean and tidy ideal for a pitstop

Came through here a few weeks ago on the way home from holiday. When we passed through, there was a nice selection of shops and food options, which was good. However, that is where the positives end for me unfortunately. Inside was very busy, and a couple of closed restaurants leave an empty gap which could have been opened up for more seating, as the main area was heaving as it always is. The toilets were not very nice, with what looked like poo in one of the urinals. It might sound funny, but it is really horrible, and how someone manages to do a poo in the urinal, to this day, i still can't understand. The car park was once again heaving, with queues heading out, because everyone had to park right outside the entrance or as close to the entrance as possible. Nobody was managing this so it took us at least 5 minutes to leave with the queues. Bit crazy if you ask me!

Second time here, same problems, parking spaces are narrow, car park not big enough, lay out not great!

One of the new services along the A1. Love the prayer space available, nice food options and plenty of parking. Needs more Electric charging points.

It is a services with the usual places to eat, McDonald's, KFC etc. Toilets as you would expect.

All you need for a drivers break...We visited Costa, as it has its own comfortable refreshment seating area..Nice to have tea made in a ceramic pot and served in ceramic cups 👍

Went in to charge my car, chargers were not well signposted, there was a vacant charger, but after it got to 40% it refused to charge anymore.

6 staff in Costa. Despite queue only one actually serving..... very slow and frustrating. Nice for them to have a lovely chat though.....

Went to Costa for an iced Americano today and didn't feel well after the drink. It gave me headache and a bit of spice down my throat. Didn't know what they put into my drink. Got home and still was feeling unwell then made myself throw up. There were bubbles in my sick. I will never put my life at risk by coming over here again!

Does what it says on the tin. Saturday 1.30pm was heaving.
