Ordered a takeaway to share with family. We tried some new dishes & stuck to some old favourites. Sadly, we were left thoroughly disappointed. You can't go wrong with Sweet & sour chicken balls can you. Well, apparently you can. The balls were soggy & flat. The Chow means were ok, and the spring rolls lovely. Chinese chicken ok but bit tasteless, whilst the Sezchuan chicken was sloppy, had hardly any flavour & looked unappealing. Photos included. The Special rice was repulsive looking & everyone gave it a miss. The spare ribs looked horrible & chips completely over cooked. We won't be using again & will go back to our usual! This takeaway used to be great - the best in town, Not any longer!!

I ordered a takeout Saturday evening. To be honest the Chinese experience was can only be described as shocking. Food was completely tasteless the Szechuan chicken was flavourless the chicken balls massively undercooked, chips was massively overcooked. The special rice was ghastly and was covered in what can only be described as slime, was left untouched. The only bright spark was the Chinese Chicken which was good and the spring rolls were very good. On the whole was shockingly disappointing and massively inferior to the other Chinese restaurants/takeaways in St Neots. Order here to ruin your Saturday evening. Shame to see the demise of another local takeaway.

I was a repeat customer. Unfortunately I waited for over 2 hours for my food to be delivered. I called the takeaway 3 times to find out where my food was . They blamed the driver. Obviously not his fault but when I eventually got my order and challenged the driver about the time it took, his reply was not my problem as he threw his hands up in the air as he walked away over my front lawn!!!! Really 😢. Ok cheers for the apology from the company you work for 👍 What Ming Wai should have done was to call me to apologise for the delay and offer to pay for my food as it was their fault not mine . But they didn’t. Don’t use this Chinese. I certainly will not again especially after spending hundreds of pounds with them . Total joke. Terrible customer service. Goodbye 🤔

Have used this takeaway for many years. Love it! However last night the crispy duck was burnt and totally inedible. I phoned to complain and had difficulty getting someone to understand it was a complaint NOT an order for duck!!

After trying many of the Chinese takeaways in the St Neots area, we have finally found our go to Chinese ☺️ Highly recommended!

The food was absolutely disgusting, soggy under cooked prawn balls, banana fritters and pineapple fritters. Beer in curry like the sole of a shoe, satay sauce like water with peanuts in, salt and pepper chip absolutely rank 🤮🤮🤮

Went In and ordered and was ready within 15 mins, all the food was piping hot and awesome 👌 would 100% recommend Ming Wai

Purchased enough food for 5 adults. Possibly some of the nicest Chinese food we’ve had in ages. We live some 10 miles away and had recently used one that we hadn’t used for a long time and we’re greatly disappointed. Even though it was a long way away, it WAS the right choice. Thank you👍

Waste of money, fried rice just boiled rice nothing fried tastes horrible website prices not the same as in store. I'll stick with my normal place.

This is normally go to Chinese as it always been very good but tonight I’ve been let down, i ordered at 7.10 by phone and was told 30 minutes to collect i gave them 35 minutes, paid as normal as I went in and then waited a further 30 minutes I kept asking if they had forgotten me to which I got no answer eventually I go my food at 8.15, I wouldn’t normally mind but no one to me about any delays when I went in

Food was good, but unfortunately they forgot the prawn crackers. Think they were extremely busy. They did give me a replacement for the forgotten Prawn Crackers, great customer service. Lovely food tonight, they have a new menu, prices are up slightly, but it is worth it.

We had a great meal, fab crispy beef, BBQ ribs. Chicken chow mein, asked for extra onions & bean shoots which made the chow mein even better. So we will definitely go back. One star deducted by my husband, as he said it would be good if they used cardboard boxes instead of plastic containers.

Super yummy Chinese in my opinion I have lots of dishes send normally £50 so I try lots of different dishes, on problem is it takes AGES and it's never ready on time it's mega busy

Had a terrible take away the special chow main was one great big mess, the salt and pepper squid was so hot you could not eat it.

Fantastic food every time. Decent waiting times, apart from waiting for our new years eve order that was a joke, but every other time we've been has been great.

Said to collect in 30 minutes and then waited in the shop for another 30 minutes. Should have told me an hour.

Obviously changed hands again, went to physically place an order lady behind counter had very poor understanding of English (we are in England.) Half way through order phone rang and she answered phone and left me out to dry while she took their order. Went to Victor Chan instead avoid Ming Wai like the plague. Gone from being best Chinese take away in St Neots to the worst!

Appalling service in there last night and after correcting the person taking my order 3 times, I still got the wrong food! I asked for a refund but was told only if I took the food back to the shop. When I took it back and received my replacement dish, there was no apology, only an extra bag of prawn crackers. The replacement dish was very bland. Ruined my meal with my daughters.

I use this place as it's easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. The food is ok hence 3 stars.

Paid full price for fish and chips for two. We were seriously disappointed. Very small and poorly prepared. Looked like leftovers.

Not for me, not as good as it use to be.

Usually allowed to pay by card here, however at my most recent visit was shouted at "cash ONLY" by one of the employees. Needless to say I don't expect to be treated like this anywhere where I'm paying! Avoid unless you have cash, in which case the food is actually pretty good.
