Persian Paradise in Southampton

Recently I had two dinners here and food was delicious. The best lamb in Southampton 😋

Definitely recommend it as the quality of the food was perfect and the price was good . I also loved the atmosphere and their customer service.

The kabab was really good and so was the rice I’m definitely coming here again

We came from Bristol to visit my brother in Southampton and they recommended us this restaurant. We loved the food ( quality of food) ,atmosphere and customer service . The price was fair. We will definitely come back .

The food was OK,but I wasn't happy with the,service and they made me feel uncomfortable, therefore I didn't enjoy my lunch, I would prefer dine somewhere else,too many nice places with good food out there!they ruined my lunch!when we arrived the restaurant was empty and the waitress asked us to sit on a particular table,then we were interrupted to change the table to allow other people to take our table and put us in a corner table while celebrating mother's day..we got so upset to the point we left our drinks that we were waiting for and paid for.the behavior of the waitress was not nice and not professional and unorganised, they could have waited till we finished our drink at least.no other restaurant does such a thing!!!and for what ?to serve other customers on other customers expenses!my advice is ,don't ruin your day out and go there,avoid it,rather go to any restaurant apart of them..bad management and bad treatment to customers.

I was celebrating my wife's special Birthday, so I arranged for balloons and banners to be delivered. I had requested them to help set it up and wow, they did an amazing job. Exceptional. Lamb chops are 10/10 perfection. Koobideh is the best I have eaten outside London, but it's close to perfect, too. So moreish – a selection of grilled meats, salad and the incredible bread is maybe the best Persian meal you could ever have, and this is where you should get it from. No other Persian restaurant in the area comes close.

I visited Persian Paradise last weekend with my friends. I ordered kabab soltani, and while the rice was lovely, the kebab arrived super cold and not juicy. The diced kebab was overly marinated with black pepper, which I personally don't enjoy. Additionally, my friend asked for extra butter, a usual complimentary in Iranian restaurants, but we were charged £2 for the 2 small amount provided. This experience with the food was disappointing, and it has discouraged me from returning.

Fantastic food and affordable prices, Persian Paradise has created a welcoming ambiance that invites guests to linger and savor the moment. The cozy décor, soft lighting, and traditional Persian music create an atmosphere that adds to the overall charm of the place.

We went for dinner last Sunday and were very happy with the food. Their Masto musir was very tasty and both joojeh kabab and chenjeh were very nice. Also the portions were really generous. Our rice came quite cold but they warmed it up for us and there was plenty of it. They dont have their own oven for bread and next time we go I will ask for the bread to be toasted and also their tomatoes to be cooked more. The prices are very reasonable and overall we were very happy with our visit.

Excellent in every aspect! Tasty food, reasonably priced and kind people. The family friendly space and heartwarming meals make for a beautiful experience. The lamp shank is tender and served with a rice and a cup of sauce. The soup is a meal of itself and the spices on the lamp chops make it stand out from other similar dishes i have tried. I would come every day if possible. Do try the tea at the end of your meal for an extra nice treat.

Wouldn’t be able to rate their food or service unfortunately as after booking a table the day before, when I arrived I was told they were full and didn’t have any reservation. How can someone answer the phone and verify my booking and not write it down? Surely this is basic to running a business! I was really looking forward to eating this lovely looking food as my husband is from Iran and we love the food. I was very disappointed and had to find somewhere else to eat instead. Would have gone back if the food was good but I’m not booking with them again.

Freshly cooked food. The best experience ever! If you live in Southampton or nearby, this is the only Persian restaurant you should go to. The Koobideh and Chicken kebab was juicy, tasty and full of flavour! The rice was fluffy and delicious. The salad the dressing was spot on! Customer service was great. The portion size was very generous too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Totally amazing experience. AAA+++

Food was delicious. The chef produced a full BBQ meal with Lamb and Chicken, rice, bread and salad for 5 adults. Prepared in less than 30 minutes for takeaway at a cost of £70. Great portion size. Would highly recommend.

Food here is delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for something different. You can also order baqlawa with tea which i found very satisfying and tasty. Will definitely come back here again.

I'd recommend this place for a good chat with friends or families over some excellent grilled meat. My order was a big portion of grilled lamb chops, which came withj nice fries and salad. The staff was very friendly too.

Visited as part of a work friends group on the recommendation of a colleague. The restaurant is relatively small, so booking advised, but it's worth it. Staff are hard working and friendly. The food is fantastic, with generous portion sizes. Would definitely visit again, highly recommended!

Arranged a dinner for my sister's farewell party. Lovely place and very accommodating. The food was lovely and served hot. However they didn't make an error with one of my cousin food coming later and forgot her. However the lady serving was very apologetic and made sure she got it. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the food,left a nice tip for our service. We did understand it was busy with delivery. Xx

Celebrated my Birthday at this resturant with my Wife.I never had Persian food before! Always wanted to try persion food.It was delicoius and would definitely go back for more. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Delicious food!! Lamb, chicken and rice- Best I ve ever eaten! The staff was sooo helpful,friendly and polite! You can sit outside very easily (despite the cold weather) because of the heaters Definitely we will go again! Strongly recommended!!

Quality food, large portion and good price. Amir was fantastic host and I definitely recommend Persian Paradise in Southamoton. I believe that you can also take your favourite alcoholic drink with you as they serve only soft drink. We had a great birthday party and I recommend this place.

Quality wholesome food. £12 for the Special which consisted of Chicken shish and lamb kofte with a bed of rice and salad. Great value for money and tasted fresh and authentic. Rice was freshly cooked which made it light and fluffy. Kids meal which is half the price has one skewer of meat or chicken with rice and salad which is equally great value for money and was thoroughly enjoyed by the kids !

On my never again list. Received wrong order. Called restaurant, they apologised, offered me to eat what I received and £10 off from next order which I declined as I wanted refund. Wrong order that I had to eat wasn't that nice. Meet was chewy, salmon was burned, chips were awful. Most of it ended up in the bin.

Although the restaurant is very understated, the food is great, we've been a few times and have never been disappointed. The best persian restaurant in Southampton.

Excellent food and quality of service

Really disappointed, when we first ordered the food was lovely and arrived hot and within time. The last two times we tried to order the restaurant cancelled our order, we tried again tonight because we really liked the food, it arrived 20 minutes late and was FREEZING cold.

Driver got lost and was at wrong hotel so our food came pretty cold (as was pouring down) Shame really as was looking forward to it and I’m sure would have been great if on time and hot.

We have just ordered a meal , I would normally cook my self from scratch but due to sad family circumstances we decided to order in dinner tonight. You would think that lamb with chick peas would be a nice dish, 3 chunks of lamb a spoonful of chickpeas in what was nothing more than a tomato soup flavoured with chilli and a few chips floating sauce! This all went straight in the bin and why I felt so strongly in writing this review

Got told delivery time was 8pm even though we asked for 7:30. Then turned up at 7. However great food!

Most rudest staff I have EVER come across. Absolutely shocked at how we were treated. First time we went in, the lady at the counter said “I’m on break” you can’t sit down. They then said they have no food left at 20:00 and to leave the store. AVOID at all cost. Rudest people I have ever met.

That’s a shame that great like this was not busy on such beautiful weekend. The food was very good. The hummus was delicious served with freshly baked naan and the rice with lentil and lamb was superb. Very clean restaurant and welcoming staff. Although the parking was impassible as the restaurant is only the zigzag lines and on both sides of the road there are private properties. Perhaps 2 cars can be parked in by the restaurant side as it has corner view you can park by the window. Other than that it’s all great, fresh, delicious, and cheap. Fabulous. 5 stars for sure.

Had a lovely dinner with my family. the boss is very fun, always smiling, the food portion was huge, I could not finish it. we took the rest in a takeaway box. I can not find a word for the atmosphere, it was both modern and transitional, felt ... comfortable and nice. The food was delicious and the price was worth the experience. Will definitely come back with friends.

Then when we asked about the order she said that she lost the order and that we have to choose between leaving or placing the another order and waiting for 1 hour more. She didn’t apologise or feel sorry for her rude and terrible attitude. When I asked her to feel sorry for what she did, she said I don’t have to, you can leave. She was disgusting and extremely rude, after wasting almost 2 hours we left without eating. I there was under zero star rating, I will put it. I really don’t recommend this restaurant.

The food here was quite standard and rice was bland, unlike the usual Persian restaurants I have eaten at. The front of house staff member didn't understand when we were asking about items on the menu. It was quite challenging. We asked for a chicken soup as a starter but instead got a lentil soup, halfway after starting our mains. It wasn't busy in the restaurant so I was surprised that they could forget to give the starters before the main! I wouldn't come here again but overall if you are hungry then this place will fill the hole.
