On 8/8/2024 I and friend ordered two meals and the cashier charged us for three meals and we had to take away unnecessary meal! She and other members of staff lack experience and professionalism.

Food ranged between bad and average. Fillet burger was average. Wings were stale and just tasted bad. The worst part was the customer service. Cashier was extremely blunt and threw the mayonnaise sachet in the bag when I asked for extra mayo. No basic manners and very poor expression. Made me feel like she prefers zero business compared to almost none as it is.

I suggest when you buy peri peri chicken here, make sure that they cooked the chicken infront of your eyes. If you get away and comeback to collect later, they will wrapped and give you the old stock chicken that has been previously cook. I can tell they gave me old stock because when I ate the chicken, it was cold and dry. Look at the photo and what I have found with in the google rate. Very bad business to con the customers.

Something has changed here since the last time I came here. I usually takeaway and they’re always rushing around prioritising deliveries first over customers in store. This time the chicken was SUPER greasy, a pool of oil was left in the box after I took out the chicken. The flavour wasn’t as good as it used to be either. A real shame as I really liked their wings before.

Waited so long for my order (34mins)!. The woman counter who served looked very miserable and quite rude when I placed my order with good manners. My food was already prepared but did not call my order number until I asked. Will never go to this place again!

Pathetic dingy shop.Ordered two spicy chicken burger meals on a late Friday night, after midnight. Perhaps they can't be bothered at night and serve older foo.The fries were old , cold, recooked a couple of times at least. The chicken fillet was old. The joys of late night 'food'.

The place ranked and smelled like horror the pictures on the walls where fake and nothing compared to the real burger I ordered it looks flimsy and just like frozen foods

The employee said there was no pepper in the chicken, I asked 3 times and he said there was none. I ended up throwing everything in the trash because I don't eat pepper, it's very spicy!

this Is horrible, as soon as I was waiting they gave me the WRONG THING and it happened 2 times in a row. The service is bad and the toilets are dirty. I do not recommend this bye!!!

I had a delightful experience at Peri Peri Cottage. The service, especially from Ibrahim, was friendly and welcoming. The food here is of great quality, and the pricing is surprisingly competitive. A small downside is the limited waiting area available at night when the main restaurant section is closed. Additionally, during nighttime, the waiting times can extend a bit, which seems to be due to a shortage of staff on some occasions. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was positive, and I would recommend giving this place a try!

FOOD POISONING Was passing Uxbridge which isn’t my usual place of work as it was lunchtime decided to try peri peri cottage seemed busy so I assumed would be ok Customer service was non existent not to surprised or bothered Got my food jumped in the car and upon opening the bag had a funny smell but didn’t think on it too much began eating firstly picked out 2 bones from a fillet burger … then after the second bite the smell was obviously coming from the burger threw the whole meal away and no less then 40 minutes later I’m being sick in a side road and have still got horrendous stomach pains now 7 hours later AVOID

I must say this is by far the best take out I had in a long time. I've been a regular to amigos and cheat meals but thought I'll give this place a try. Don't get me wrong the packaging is not as glamorous but it is neat. A lot of attention to detail the meal was prepped well seasoned and cooked to perfection not charred! Everything tastes fresh don't feel sluggish after eating it to in fact I'm a actually in a great mood. A MUST TRY WILL ORDER AGAIN!

I ordered 4 burgers with fries for around 33 pounds and my brothers burger had a black mark indicating it was burnt along with the seeds and the chips were not even that crispy and they were so hard i recently got teeth removed but if i had continued eating those chips i think all my teeth would have broke in half and they were extremely dry i wasnt able to breathe !!! the rest of burgers were alright but the chips could have been done a bit better

Food is alright, service at night not the greatest wouldn't recommend going here at night might be better during the day

I have ordered Chicken Madras and it was damn spicy. I could not eat it, seems the green chilly was pasted and added in the curry. I am a passionate about spicy food, but this one i couldn’t eat.

Regularly go here. If you're normally still hungry after a take away grab a box meal it's decent value for money

Took very quickly to make and was fresh and so hot 🔥 the staff where friendly and where very patient the food tastes lovlely

Chicken burger meal burger came out smashed like the cook was angry with me but it did taste nice along with the fries I ordered a drink which the lady forgot to send out and also saw another customer come back asking for his drink that she forgot too. She did not smile and looked like she did not want to be there. Customer complaining that they waiting 30mins for fast food lots of space did not use bathroom so cannot review.

****UPDATE**** Since last visiting this place, it has changed hands and under new management, initial impressions are it’s not as good and also HALAL certificate is not available or on display, although the shop representative verbally assures is it. ================================ Great place, service is fantastic and prices are reasonable. It can become hectic so orders can take time, so better off actually placing the order online or by calling through. The food is also Halal with a valid certificate displayed together with their hygiene rating. The quality of the chicken in my opinion is decent, texture and taste being excellent. Will definitely visit again!

I asked for a beef tikka wrap as advertised on the menu board...Instead was given kebab roll disguised as a wrap (pathetic) bland lots of lettuce thrown in, chilli sauce could have done more off. clearly wasn't fresh tikka as I had been told Everything about this place is OVERPRICED. Terrible experience no chance will be coming back anytime soon Waste of money worst food I have had in long time Avoid it 👎

Paid for a small chicken donar but ended up with more salad and, sauce than chicken. It was tasty but not worth the price paid for in this recession.

Staff are very friendly, I was being served by Ibrahim, firstly if he doesn't own this shop then the owner needs to give him a pay rise because he treats the business ad of its his, customer service exceeds 5 stars he treated me like I was family so there is another positive, he was able to get store orders and online orders ready very efficiently no pressure no stress just calm and friendly. I haven't had the food as of yet because its my first time here but the review is purely for him because of how he is.

They are good for all things chicken related that involve a fryer or grill. The food is well priced and very good, if this is your thing.

The food here is really nice but they take sooooo flipping long. Sometimes the wait is up to an hour for some food , ( chicken tikka) so I would not recommend if you are after some quick food that needs to be cooked. They are always very vague with the times and never give an honest answer. Last time I called ahead for a chicken tikka burger, the burger was only put on the grill the moment that I arrived (30 mins later). But again, the food is very tasty!

Myself and my colleauge are always on the run. We stopped by to quickly eat in and i must say it was perfect. We had ordered the chicken tikka wrap meal and a peri-peri burger meal, the meat was cooked just right and the sauce! I loved it. The customer service was brilliant and very welcoming. young asian female on the tills... outstanding customer service!

Three nights this week COLD food, had enough tonight hade to wait 1hour 25 minutes for Cold food, sent it back tonight, just a joke, they are only 5 minutes away from my house

Sooo tasty!! American gourmet burger is huge! Good quality, really seasoned as if the patties are homemade! The half of peri peri chicken is perfectly cooked to the bone, seasoned very well. The lamb burger is seasoned perfectly also with the slight spice offset with the halloumi is perfect. Perfect portion sizes! Chips are sooo tasty too. Good take away meal!! Tastes homemade and not overly oily or greasy. Good value for money too. Quick delivery too had this twice now, great quality every time.

Food is good feels like a healthier option than other takeaways (depending on what your order) Normally get the whole chicken deal with rice and salad. Usually quick-ish delivery and about right when you order for a set time. Driver got a little bit lost last time which is the first time that’s happened

Always love a peri peri cottage. They didn't have corn on cob, but kindly called to apologise and offer an alternative. Even threw in a free gift:-). No complaints. Great quality food and great delivery time.

I don’t know what’s happening with this place. They have substituted the chilli sauce with something mixed with ketchup. Not there usual standard. I always ask for chicken well done. It usually arrives the way I like it. But today it didn’t. Going down hill slowly but surely. So much so that I don’t think I’ll ever order again.

The food was decent. However, the customer service was terrible; the reason behind this judgement is thatone of the delivery staff didn’t give the right amount of change for my payment as well as I made a complaint through a phone call and I still did not get my change. This is was a dishonest act and I do not appreciate it. Even though it’s only £2, I would like to have the correct amount of change if I ever order from this food shop.

Not often I trouble myself to write about semi fast food places. However, I went in here with my 9 year old son as we had some time to kill before a movie nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and so so nice from the minute you walk in. My son loved his burger. I liked my grilled chicken although perhaps slightly over cooked and dry. All of that is forgiven as the whole service was second to none (my son said so). Decor is low end but who cares when you are welcomed so well😁
