Meat feast pizza missing meat, burger and chips missing chip seasoning. Not up to usual standards. Barm toasted and a bit overdone

Shocking service, have ordered from these on a weekly basis for years, tonight they get my order wrong and refuse to replace a £3.50 burger, accusing me of lying to get a free £3.50 burger! Disgusting attitude from the so called boss, will never get another penny of my money ever again. Food has gone downhill lately anyway so not bothered, chips aren't the same crispy ones they started with, wings are tiny with hardly any meat on them. Will find a better peri place with decent human beings for staff.

Ordered from here and was told it would be 45 mins to an hour for delivery which was fine. An hour and 15 mins later I rang to complain as our food still hadn't arrived and we were hungry. The man the other side was in no way apologetic but in fact was very rude. They didn't seem to care that we still hadn't received our food yet or that we were not happy about this. We order from here regularly and the food is nice but on this occasion when I had cause to complain I found them very unhelpful and rude. Service and food is good if everything is as it should be but they have no clue when there's a problem to resolve and ended up being ill mannered and very rude. On this occasion the meal was only £20 but our order is usually £40 to £50. That money will be spent on pizza, kebabs, Chinese, or Indian food in future as Piri Cottage won't be getting our custom anymore and there are many takeaway restaurants within the Pontypool area so they are playing a dangerous game by not providing a good service in all areas as customers do have plenty of other options for food so nit the best approach in keeping customers from going elsewhere. They need to get themselves sorted with delivery times and retrained in customer service as they have none whatsoever at the moment when it comes to dealing with issues.

First time ordering in over a year and it was better than we remembered. Between the two of us we decided on garlic bread, peri fries, popcorn chicken, and a chicken wing meal with fries. Delivery was quick from order, the food turned up on time, fresh and hot and the driver was helpful and friendly. The portions were large but not overly filling which is always good. The chicken wings were smoky, spicy, well seasoned with a bit of a kick and the meat came straight off the bone. You won't get better chicken wings anywhere around here. The popcorn chicken was cooked well, tasted fresh and clean and wasn't greasy at all and the peri fries were nice enough. The garlic bread was lovely, a decent portion that was soft, melts in your mouth and doesn't lose its flavour once it cools a bit. The chilli dip was really nice, has a real kick to it which we really like. The menu is large and varied. Ranges from very mild, to smoky and full of flavour all the way to a real kick of heat. Really is something for everyone here. And for such a good price too. A quality takeaway. They really don't deserve their mediocre reviews. Comes highly recommended!

Lovely half peri chicken! Loads of chips and all lovely at great price! Really quick delivery considering how far we are away and still all hot! First time we ordered from here and will definitely be ordering again

A good cheap alternative to nandos probably tastes better than nandos you definitely get value for money here

Waited 1 hour for food to come then, call me saying the wood wasn’t coming. Children are starving, called the restaurant and they didn’t care. Absolutely ridiculous. Wouldn’t order from here. Poor customer service

I have had near enough everything on the menu here it is nice you have a choice of charcaol grilled chivken or fred chicken with a choice if chips wedges salad rice etc.

A decent takeaway! Reasonable prices, good choices (of chicken) and well-cooked tasty food. A favourite place in this area for myself and my daughter.

Can't go wrong. Great value for money. Best chicken ever. Caters for everyone. Burgers or nuggets for fussy kids and spicy hot peri chicken in a variety of heats for the adults. We have one a week without fail
