Charlie’s in Torfaen

I booked a table for my son 18th birthday today. It was a party of 9. I had a 5 year old who is autistic and doesn’t eat a big selection of food. When I looked on the website there were pizzas. That’s something the 5 year old would eat. When we got there I asked for cheese pizza. They told me they only do what’s out. There was bbq chicken and pepperoni. I explained to the staff that the little one doesn’t eat meat. They basically said tough that’s all they do. I again spoke to someone else and explained the situation. The other member of staff was just as unhelpful. I told them it’s disgusting the they don’t cater for everyone. I questioned what pizza do they offer for vegetarian’s. Shockingly I was told there vegetable noodles. Had I have known I would not have gone there. I paid £6 for a child that ate only some prawn crackers. To make it worse the food was absolutely awful. The food that was laid out when we got there was still sat there when we were leaving. The desert and fruit section was ok. Apart from the plums there off. The refill drinks were a good deal. Nobody in our party enjoyed the food. The egg fried rice was refreshed and the noodle dish was refreshed while we were there but nothing else. It was £20 for the buffet what a rip off. We certainly won’t be going there again. It looks beautiful inside with lovely seating. Do not try if you have anyone that any kind of dietary requirements as they will not every try to accommodate you. Oh and they charge you on the way in so you haven’t got the chance to withhold any payment for there awful food.

Always been a cracking Chinese takeaway but had an awful meal from here recently 3 other friends have said the same. Bad belly after😩. Was the best around but something has gone wrong

Good delivery service. And HOT FOOD. The food was delicious. I had a pizza and grill special 2. No complaints what so ever. Very friendly service xxxx
