Perfect Fish Bar in Maidstone

The friendliest staff of any take-away I have ever been to. The chips are so nice, I haven't tried any better in Maidstone or surround areas. The prices are very reasonable. Not on any food delivery apps. I would highly recommend!!!

The best fish & chips I've had. Not very oily and with a crispy crust. The owner is very friendly. The place is clean and the ingredients are of quality. I can say that it is among the best locations to taste this typical British dish in all of England. I will definitely come back here.

Fabulous fish and chips. I don't normally so fish n chips as batter and chips normally soggy or under cooked, but not here. Will be back even if it's 11miles from where my brother lives.

Excellent chip shop by far the best in Maidstone

I’ve been working at the tv studios recently and saw the 4.8 review score. I can honestly say I wasn’t disappointed… this is seriously crispy and tasty F&C’s …. Visited twice now and wish this was my local. 4.8 is a seriously high score but I can’t argue. Paul

I visit Maidstone Studios quite often and am always looking for somewhere to eat before the long journey home. I was lucky to find The Perfect Fish Bar after doing a search on Google and I am so glad I did. Perfect in its name sums it up beautifully. I couldn’t fault anything. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the fish and chips were cooked to perfection. This has to be the best Cod and Chips I’ve tasted and the portions are massive, it definitely get me going on my 3 hour drive back home. So glad I’ve found you and look forward to visiting again when I’m next down in Maidstone. Thank you.

Stopped here on April 24th, had Fish and Chips. The quality was excellent. I had previously checked reviews of similar in the area and decided to come here. Was not disappointed. Would recommend.

Take-away fish and chip shop with assorted kebabs, nuggets and so on. Friendly service and whilst none are cheap these days there was plenty from one large cod and chips to feed two of us. Crispy batter and plenty of fat chips, delicious!

Excellent fish and chippies on the vinters park estate! Excellent portions, great selection, not greasy! Delicious! Gets busy so phone ahead to guarantee your chippy dinner

Ive eaten at numerous Fish & chippies all over London & not long moving here from there i was worried i would miss my old Fish & chippies & then i found this little gem. I can say with my chest this is my favourite chippie BY FAR. Im a sucker for sausage & batter with chips with curry sauce & their quality of food on every visit is on point everytime. Service is warm & friendly even down to them even remembering my order on every visit shows great attention to detail. Always immaculate & clean on arrival & satisfied overall with food standards. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Just had a lamb shish kebab with a pot of chilli sauce and it was absolutely amazing, this is by far the best fish and chip/ kebab shop in Maidstone

Just moved here from London and I am so glad I checked the reviews because we just came here today and picked up a sausage in batter, chips and curry sauce and it's probably the best one I have been to - even better than London. Great atmosphere and friendly staff - will definitely be coming here only if we ever want a chippy dinner :)

After shopping in the town and you want fish and chips don't use the expensive high street places, come here. Large cod was £8 and it was large. Decent flakes of cod, crisp batter, chips a reasonable £2.50 and pie £3.50 There is free parking nearby although I notice it seems full on my visit.

Fantastic food and service. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Food is cooked just right and good portions. Been in this area for a year now and this is the ONLY fish & chip shop I've found that is any good. Highly recommended.

We usually go to Papas locally but it’s become a nightmare ordering and waiting during COVID. Tried Perfect Fish Bar on recommendation from a friend and it was brilliant - our cod and chips tasted just as good as Papas and cost less - but the best bit was walking in, ordering and walking out. Lovely owner who took pride in getting our food ready and insisted on doing fresh chips for us. Really pleased and we’ll be coming here from now on.

Don't have fish and chips very often but food has been lovely here both times we have tried it. Perfect portion size's and prices. Will choose here over Papa Barns now.

A good chippy. All sorts here. The one teeny blip is cash only though but not enough to take away a star. Kebabs and good chip shop burgers as well as all your other faves.

Just wanted "Gold Star" fish & chips on way to Euro Tunnel, certainly found them! Even got a coffee from next door :-) 11/10 Gold Star, keep up the good work.....
