Good food, fantastic service, superb coffee with house and guest beans. A great selection of alcohol, with beer taps that change weekly giving you something new to try, you can get your beer to take away in up to 4 pint bladder.

Cool place but one of the managers seemed quite rude to one of the employees

On my visit it was very quiet with the bar staff chatting with a friend on a table in the corner. He served me and we had a good chat over my favoured beer styles and what they had on draft and available in cans. After I had been served 3 x third pints, I dat and was included in the general conversation. The sort of craft beer bar I love.

Came here for a private party and had a great time. Everything was clean and well presented. Drinks were great, cocktails were STRONG. Our hosts Katie and Olly absolutely made our night. Nothing was too much hassle. Both great at upselling and making you feel welcome. They brought drinks up to us, despite us being on the top floor and being busy. They deserve a pay rise for sure. Would definitely come back here again if I was in the area. Only complaint is that our playlist volume had to be kept low because the music was connected throughout the whole venue, which meant we couldn't have full control over the speakers. Definitely worth investing in a separate sound system for private parties so there's no need to compromise.

A brilliant little find, I popped into here when in town and was totally amazed by what a gem it is. The coffee is first class, they server a full range of alcoholic drinks and the food is spot on. I have since been back for lunch and breakfast which is particularly good. I highly recommend this as a wonderful independent place to visit for food, a coffee break or a evening drink.

Really nice place, brilliant staff who are very friendly and helpful. Hopefully see you again if we come back down south to visit family again. You are a little far away from our home town, a 5 hr drive is a bit too far 😄

Everyday I go in here and it's always the best, great staff especially Ollie and Katy!! Always a bit daunting going into a coffee house especially being lactose intolerant but the staff are so careful and have a good selection of non dairy milks 10/10 recommend

Friendly atmosphere and great space to sit and enjoy a coffee an breakfast with your laptop or chill out in the evening and enjoy a local craft beer. Staff are super friendly and helpful and the host creative events frequently. Breakfast and cheesy bread offerings are big portions sizes and really tasty!

Breakfast review Went in for breakfast as I have always enjoyed it during the evening and wanted to see if it was good. And I was not disappointed, a wide variety which is all reasonable priced with quick and tasty breakfast. It was all cooked perfectly and the large hot drinks are truly large. Evening review One of my favourite places to go for a drink. Nice selection of constantly rotating beers and ciders so every visit seems new. This place is great to catch-up with friends with comfy seating upstairs and a cosy outdoor smoking area. A hidden gem definitely.

Firstly I have been coming here for a little while now I’ve known AJ and stu for a little while before they ran craft brewed, me and my partner held our engagement party here and it was incredible service aswell as some good beers. I’ve had a breakfast bagel here and today I had a brisket and Stilton club sandwich (it was incredible won’t find anything like it for a lunch else where ) must visit if your into ales and just a generally chilled atmosphere with out the terrible crowd

Friendly, helpful staff. It wasn't particularly busy when I visited, but.that was due to the time of the year (1st week in Jan). Cool bar to try in Maidstone if you're fed up of chain pubs.

Very chilled out and relaxing with good friendly service and an excellent selection of drinks to choose from.

Met up with a group of friends. I am doing Dry January and it was the perfect place to have a coffee and then have a choice of herbal teas - the citrus spiced was delicious. We were a large group and were made most welcome as we moved chairs and tables around so we could all sit in a circle and enjoy each others company. Service was warm and friendly. I had a sneaky peak upstairs and took some photos. I love the industrial vibe. I predict 2024 will be a year when people take more time to spend with friends. That’s my plan.

Best cafe in Maidstone by far. Tonnes of different drinks including craft beer, cocktails and an amazing range of milkshake flavours! Food is great too - especially the stuffed breads and cakes. Love the atmosphere - very relaxed and surrounded by plants. Board games. Sofas. Very trendy with a lot of character. Lovely staff too

First time here. An amazing line up of great ales. Knowledgeable, friendly staff on hand providing the guidance on choice. We were a group of 7 including 3 kids, and fun was had by all! I can't wait to be back!

My cider was great but my friends were given a bad tasting mojito, which they returned. The maker gladly replaced the drinks after tasting them theirself which was very professional of them, however the woman working began verbally abusing my friend for complaining. It is a shame as this has been one of my favourite places to go for a few months, but I worry that this woman may continue to make customers feel unwelcome.

I came into this place with high expectations however my drink was incredibly watered down. Once I went up to the bar to say that I did not think there was alcohol in the drink I was told by one particularly rude member of staff that I was taking the piss and that they don’t even get paid to work here so I shouldn’t take the piss. However the member of staff that made my drink agreed that it was watered down and remade it for me but the rudeness from this one member of staff left a sour taste in my mouth especially after informing me she doesn’t even get paid to work here. A terrible experience overall and I really hope they work on who they hire here because after this experience I will not be returning.

To be totally honest, this type of place is not really my scene. The man on the bar was friendly and professional. They have two down stairs M /F shared toilets which is not a problem for me. Secluded rear court yard which is quiet nice. We sat out the front which was fabulous on a summer's day. Quite expensive £9:00 for a pint and a half.

Had an early breakfast here - the service was quick and friendly. Our dog got a treat too. Everything was fresh and tasty. Delicious coffee.

I went with my mum on the 7th July and had egg royal, it was lovely, good service and drinks were good too. Had a oat of this world smoothie and then to go a super beetroot smoothie

Atmosphere Definitely 5⭐ as always friendly but especially today as I was with friend who has disabled scooter which she parks outside & when we left they gave her some blue roll to wipe her seat as it had been raining. Food & Service i never give 5⭐ reviews as nobody is perfect delicious though it was they forgot to serve me my pastry! I had to remind them!

Visited today staff was very friendly and welcoming! Tried salmon and cream cheese bagel and my partner tried eggs florentine. They both tasted really good! Highly recommend

Delicious coffee and breakfast, the CB breakfast wrap. Friendly attentive staff, chilled environment. Lots of spacious seating throughout the venue including a secluded courtyard garden. Great selection of tasty craft beers and all you usual bar treats. Very welcoming, a little gem of an independent cafe/bar. Highly recommended

The staff were fabulous; accommodating and chatty. The atmosphere is inviting but minimalist and sterile with a lot of stainless steel and faux plants. Courtyard feels confined with cheap furniture, which I felt to be perfectly acceptable as the lighting and music uplifts the spartan exterior. Seating in the front might be a good addition. The drinks selection is good and the different choices of craft beers and ales are superb. The problem with the venue becomes apparent when you're provided the food you ordered. This shocked me as I read other reviews that seemed in love with the food, so hopes were high. However, on receipt of our food (we ordered two breakfast wraps) were told that the food didn't seem to want to be wrapped up this time. This breakfast wrap wasn't capable of being eaten without a knife and fork. Any attempt to do so would be met with a corn tortilla wrap that was sweaty and not at all toasted (just some advice). The bacon was obviously a cheap cut, overly salty and low grade supermarket product, full of grisle and that white gunge you get from cheap bacon. The scrambled egg was, while French style (slightly runny), completely unseasoned. The only seasoning was the ketchup, of which the entire wrap was drenched and so became completely over powered by. The cheese was generic pre-sliced supermarket bland cheddar that has no place in a professional kitchen. I cannot fault the sausage, though, possibly from frozen? This was unfortunate as the rest of the experience was lovely. I'd recommend the chef go to Notorious BRG at Lockmeadow to try their breakfast wrap and compare.

Lovely little spot in the heart of town. Plenty of seats inside and out, loads of drink options, a decent dining menu and tasty cookies. The inside is clean and well decorated, and the staff were friendly and genuinely enjoyed what they were doing. Looking forward to my next visit.

Good coffee, excellent beer, good place to chill, work with power, wifi and friendly staff. That said, the staff need to learn the difference between long black and americano, and learn to listen to their (more knowledgeable!) customers.

Coffee AND plonk! Even at the same time, if you fancy it. Three floors of sociable ambience. Great atmosphere by the window with the world walking by, or a cosy meeting space upstairs, which is what a bunch of us did last Sunday evening. Rhubarb cider sir? Rather!!

Gorgeous coffee, incredibly kind staff, clean, fresh, and bright decor. I needed coffee grounds for home, and couldn't get any. Not only do they sell coffee, but as I have no grinder, they even ground, and bagged the beans for me, leaving details of what I'd bought. Honestly, one of the loveliest experiences Ive ever had in a coffee shop. Thank you. X

A newly opened stunning coffee shop in the heart of Maidstone. Brand new, modern and comfortable environment, electric plugs in everywhere, so that is easy to charge mobile phones or use laptops. Polite and quick service, strong coffee, draft beer, I'll definitely visit again
