Perfect Chicken and Ribs in Reading

The food is excellent and the restaurant is halal It is worth trying

Good may taste okay, but expect all the rif raf to eat here. You can sit in, but the company and language is horrible. The servers don’t wear gloves at all, serve abusive customers and generally there is cross contamination when touching the meat, fish and other products. If you want to eat here - you’ll get what you pay for.

Eaten at countless chicken shops and this was by far the worse. Chicken was dripping with grease and tasted inedible. After a couple bites I decided if I ate anymore I’d be violently sick.

Place should be investigated by trading standards. Went on Saturday and ordered 2 meals of 1 piece of chicken and chips and drink and when I checked my account afterwards they charged me £16! Absolute con-artists! I was a bit worse for west at the time so didn’t properly check but I didn’t expect a chicken shop to scam me! Then to make matters worse the chicken and chips tasted like cardboard! Dry and tasteless. The worst I’ve ever had. It was actually made beforehand, as soon as I told them the order they passed the pre made food which was already in boxes and bags - says it all really.

I’m a guy that can appreciate kebabs are very hit and miss, but this place was literally the most horrendous place I’ve been to for a quick bit of grub, scandalous prices for the deadest portions and quality of food. EVERYTHING is frozen to order and is pathetic even to a drunk person. 0 out of 5 for me if I could, crooks.

Awful food and prices are all the same regardless of the amount you get served. Wouldn’t even recommend this place to a homeless person.

Visited in my 2017 trip to Reading. My friend took me there after Purple Turtle and it was a great segue after a long night partying. The chicken was really good. A lifesaver in a great location.

Absolutely disgraceful service and the food was like biting into a hardened pile of mud it was disgusting service and manners were improper snd it was as if I was served by some unlawful hooligans dragged off the street by an old man

I wouldnt advise any of u eating here used to work for them spitting in the food leftovers heated and sold again expired cicken washed and cooked for sale Behind the counter is a real mess and the staff ughhhh

The customer service seems need to improve. The fried chicken and chips are really nice, better than KFC.

Overcharged and the place is pretty unhygienic and gross

Where else would you get 6 ribs and chips for a fiver fifty? Just off value that's 4 stars from me.

I came here today on my 21st birthday and received dreadful service. I ordered food for me and my mum. When I started to eat my chicken burger taking 3 or 4 bites, I decided to look inside I found my chicken burger to be pink. I then took my food back and explained to the man what I had found he asked me to speak to the manger, the manager then came over so I showed him my pink chicken burger, I then ripped apart my mothers chicken burger to find the chicken just as pink as mine. I then started to pull my chicken wings apart when I then found them to be pink too. By this time the manager had ripped the chicken burger out of my hand, and gave me a refund. Whilst I calculated my refund and asked the bouncer to double check I had the right change, he then started hurling abuse at me swearing and telling me to leave the shop. I told him I wouldn't leave until I calculated my change. I counted the change and realised my change was correct I then went to leave the shop when he told me to "suck my willy" I tried to confront him as the bouncers was telling me to leave the shop, I asked the bouncer if he heard exactly what was said, he then agreed to what was said and I left the shop. I asked the bouncers outside who I can contact to report this shop and their manager, they then told me their is nothing I can do except leave and go home, I confronted the bounces to why they did not confront the manager and they had no more to say than they apologise for he's actions and that it wasn't right what he said, I then asked them to repeat in recording what the manager of this shop had said and they would not. I am very upset from my experience here tonight and I am going to take this matter further.

I've been there, I've waited about 5minutes before the guy got off his phone to ask for an order and cough worse than a dying person. No uniform, just few guys in an hoodies looking as taken from a dark alley, rubbish and loads of mess on the floor. As I've asked for an 2x meal one with and one without sauce, surprisingly I did get both with source and the guy didn't get to pack the second meal as an meal (had to be instructed by boss) . Well the meal didn't look even a bit like on the picture and didn't meet any standards. As I've asked for my money back I've been told I won't get any money back and they are making another dreadful meal for me even I'd didn't want it. As I was having an argue with an 'supervisor' he started to record it on his phone and tried to scare me with police. As I called the police he send for his boss who issued the money back. But be aware there is no point of popping in after midnight.

I had a Fillet burger meal from here last night. Today i have Food poisoning, been sick 4 times. I will never eat there again. The chicken is disgusting.! Even 1 star too much for this place.

Worst food ever pls don't even try

Worst place to go in town. Food, service and vacinity are dreadful. Only came as KFC was closed. Guess it's our first n final visit.

Duck me Jesus the service speed here was crazy good, if not too busy you should consider a career in athletic sprinting.
