Gourmet Junction in Reading

I had a bug in my chicken salat. It was delivered, when I open the box bug comes out . Something disgusting ! I really do not recommend you to eat in Gourmet burger. I add a picture in to the photos.

Possibly the worst takeout I've had. Didn't have the items I ordered so called me to replace with something else and kept rushing me for a decision. When the food did arrive it was cold and even on reheating wasn't very nice. One of the items was completely inedible and made incorrectly. Won't be ordering from here ever again and most certainly not worth the money wasted on it.

Awful food delivered by just eat took over a hour to deliver to Twyford and to top it off food was stone cold. Even had to travel to takeaway to get fresh food

Took an hour to arrive, half the order was missing and no way to contact them

Don't leave many reviews but after seeing all the negative one thought it had to be done. Ordered over the phone to pickup,was ready in 15 mins. We had peri peri burger meals. Food was fresh and well cooked not the standard chilli sauce we have in Luton bit sweeter but done the job. The staff were friendly also gave 10% discount as we were local.

Came hour late, manager or owner was rude shouting on phone when asked where food was and when it did turn up no one could eat it as it was undercooked and cold only plus was the driver was nice

Burgers are succulent and fresh .

I have an order with them on uber eats and i only live down the road from them, they keep changing the delivery driver and are taking so much time i dont even know whats going on, i've made nearly £30 for what? Disgusting service, i will never order from here again!

Waiting ages for delivery food cold chips soggy seen more salad on a cheese sandwich. Shocking!!

the communication between them and just eat is abysmal, it came 2 hours late and was cold. The fries has remnants of other food in the box including other types of fries (i.e. cross contamination). Very shocking. That being said it tasted pretty good.

Made an order via just eat around 1pm. Food arrived just before 3pm! And it tasted like it was made 3 hours prior. Food was soggy and cold. To make matters worse you cannot find a telephone number for them anywhere unless u go to the allergies section of just eat. When they answered they were rude and would not offer a refund under any circumstances just discount off the next meal which will never happen! Avoid at all costs

So..... I will start by saying the food wasn't all that bad, once it had arrived... One can only assume they make the food fresh to your order... In the sense it must have been that fresh that they had an egg, and then nurtured that egg until it was a nice healthy chicken, and then decide to cook it. That is one of two logical reasons i can come up with for explaining how on Earth it can take that long to arrive!!! Either that or the fact they then charge £6 for delivery, maybe they waited for my order to.come in, and then had the chicken delivered straight from the farm, to the takeaway and then to me... If i am ever desperate enough to order from here again, i will make sure i order it the day beforehand, that way maybe i will get it when i actually want it....

Where the hell is my food ??? Ok it was 30 mins late, but tastes good so far 👌🏾👍🏻🤘🏽.. great food and I very nice burger !.. keep it up, delivery times could be quicker

Terrible service, substandard food and this place is actually operating as Reading pizza which also has extremely poor service and food. False advertising!

Worst burger and chips I've ever had, cold, soggy, didnt eat any of it, and kids meals were dreadful. Not gourmet at all and hugely overpriced AVOID.
