Having visited Dr Jenners House and due to go to Berkeley Castle found this little cafe for a quick lunch. Leek and potato soup with a half baguette was quite hot and tasty but not cheap at £5.75. A big pot of tea for 2 was £4 was not too bad.

We had the cream tea with plain scones which was really good. The service and friendly atmosphere were so welcoming. A extensive choice of food and drink on the menu and all right in the centre of the town.

We were staying locally, it's quite a small town so delighted to be able to find somewhere this good for breakfast! It's nice and roomy, filled up quite quickly while we were there. Staff were very quick and helpful. Poached eggs on toast were delicious accompanied by an excellent cup of coffee. Heard the staff accommodate a number of requests for alternative dairy and gluten free without any issue. A lovely place to start the day.

Looking for somewhere to eat whilst driving through a little village. Drove passed this place and stopped. We were welcomed in on arrival. Both had a full English breakfast. The plate came hot and food was well presented and hot a beautiful breakfast would definitely recommend this place. Very welcoming and friendly staff also very clean.

We were dying fo a cuppa and as we arrived the cafe was closing but the lady kindly offered to stay open to serve us with tea - how lovely is that! The tea room is very quaint and has local products for sale. We will be returning for our daughter's wedding in September and we're looking forward to going back for cake and tea next time!

We feel so lucky to have found this lovely cafe. The food is really lovely. My daughter adores their cream tea, just perfect after a long walk with the dog. So much choice so all the family always finds something they like. Always a service with a smile, which is much appreciated in the current climate - thank you 😊

Came here for a bit of lunch whilst in the area. Lady at the counter was friendly and kind. Service was slow. Panini filling was lovely but the bread itself seemed cheap. The special Xmas hot choccie flavours were delicious. Mixed feelings.

The last time we visited back in April 2019, we were served with such generous portions that we had to take some home! This time, however, the jacket potato was small with hardly any cheese, the salad was dry with no dressing. I asked for some vinegar and salad dressing and was given just a bottle of vinegar. However, the seating was mostly properly-distanced as well as could be managed in such a small space, the staff friendly, and the ambience very pleasant. Perfect Blend is wonderfully situated in the centre of Berkeley opposite a mediaeval building proclaiming the date 1666 - a most impressive outlook and aspect. The toilet was stacked with spare chairs and tables, but clean.

It's worth visiting Berekely just to visit this coffee shop. I'm fairly fussy about my hot chocolate and this was the best I'd had anywhere. Really hot, really chocolatey whereas often it's either one or the other. Spurred on by this, decided to have a bacon butty. Bread as fresh as anything and excellent quality bacon. Service great - and they welcomed our dogs. We'll be back. Superb

I came into here one lunchtime, I must admit it was only because the tearooms across the road was not open. I had to wait 15 minutes for the lady to serve me, of which for some bizarre reason she was waiting for the woman who was in the toilet to come out and order her food?? So this lady who had been in the toilet effectively pushed in front of me and was served before me. I was not told 'sorry for your wait' or any explanation as to why I was not being served. I would have walked out if I wasn't waiting for my car to be finished in the garage. The front of house waitress was very rude and did not want a conversation and it seemed like a lot of effort for her to tell me which fruit teas they have available. Whilst in there I felt as though I was a nuisance which was not fair. Another lady came out with my food and she was lovely, couldn't be more accommodating. It was simply the woman who was serving. She had black glasses and looked in her early 40s. I wouldn't go in there again purely because of that experience, food was lovely and the cook was great, just the front of house staff could do with some extra training. Maybe it was just an off day, but I will always remember that first impression.

Probably not a place for visitors or tourists to seek out, but a straight down the line local pub. Food is competing with Wetherspoons and Hungry Horse on price point etc, probably better than those.
