Quirky and colourful café tucked away off Stroud High Street (so tucked away I didn’t know it was there!). Incredible range of vegetarian (and non-veggie) brunch items, including a specials board. Cakes looked amazing – with a decent choice of gluten free and vegan options (we were too full from brunch to taste them, but will go back). I opted for the goats cheese with sage honey and walnuts on sourdough, which looked amazing on Instagram but was mediocre in reality. The cheese was slightly warm but not melted at all and the bread was tough. I put down to being the busiest time on the busiest day of the week and will go back and try something different another time. Coffee was delicious.

Great cafe with indoor and outdoor seats. The atmosphere is very lively, staff is friendly, very good choice of food and everything we had tasted great. The highlight for us was the coffee - it was amazing! We’re hoping to go back there tomorrow!

Myself and my husband visited this cafe for breakfast. My husband ordered the welsh rarebit and I ordered the french toast and 2 coffess at a cost of over £25 not cheap so we were both expecting to be wowed. We were a little shocked when just 1 slice each of sourdough turned up with each of chosen toppings. Both dishes were nice but definitely not worth the high price tag. I don't mind paying but thought this was highly priced for what was served.

Stopped in here for breakfast whilst visitng Stroud at the weekend. I had the mushrooms on toast which was excellent. The staff were really friendly. It's a great little venue tucked away down an alley off the main highstreet. Absolutly no problems recommending this place.

When I'm visiting Stroud ,this is our place to eat . Tucked away, secret little gem, that has a great atmosphere . Lovely food, great choice of vegetarian hot and cold, drinks and cakes also. Dogs are very welcome both in and outside, you may find a nice little treat for them too on the counter. Although the space inside is small,it does offer a courtyard out the front so finding a table isn't that hard. And for those cooler days, blankets are offered. A staff who are friendly and love a good chat ,give recommendations when you really can't make your mind up! Both card or money payments can be made. Just as you enter the courtyard ,the staff place large empty tins outside for insect houses, I've picked up a few and will continue to do so on my visits .

We had a great veggie breakfast here. Lots of different breakfast options including the full English. The specials board for lunch also looked inviting. Very popular even on a weekday late morning. There is a nice little courtyard area outside which looked inviting even on a December day. In a quiet spot just off the High St Service as quick and friendly. Would certainly visit again and recommend.

I note the review about the election result celebrations - shows what fools they really are having been clobbered by NI employer tax - sweet comeuppance

Visited the day after the election and was appalled to find myself suddenly surrounded by a member of staff celebrating and loudly dominating the atmosphere with celebrations around Labour's election result. This was completely inappropriate for a business and created a hostile environment for those who did not agree with the loudly spouted views (accompanied by dancing around) of the staff member (I assume, although she was not working, but did go behind the counter on numerous occasions and was joined by others). Views expressed loudly, with no regard to customers trying to enjoy a family lunch, consisted of "now they have power I hope they now become more extreme," Pro-Palestine statements were expressed, and even a statement regarding how they should raise taxes. Totally inappropriate for a business environment. If a business is going to be this overtly political, be prepared to lose customers who do not share your views.

Local café for local people run by local people that run the local lovely cafe.. locally. Truly, a nice spot, and I feel very reluctant in sharing with anyone.. I love in fear the days when I can't get a seat! Exuberant display of care and love from the team (not staff.. Team.) Appreciative of the eloquent display of cake! Great coffee.. Great.. overflowing loveliness really.. And the fact is in they middle of town and has a rather quaint irresistible outside courtyard. What's not to like?

This cafe is a hidden gem in beautiful Stroud but when a cappuccino and a piece of cake costs £13.75 I think I would choose an alternative place to go. The cake was delicious but that is a ridiculous price. Lunch on the other hand was very reasonably priced and so delicious....fantastic menu but a side salad consisted purely of green leaves soaked in salad dressing...I would have expected more given their menu was so creative.

Nice little cafe off the beaten track in stroud. Coffee was nice but would steer clear of any of the gluten free food options for coeliacs as all the food was together with no separate utensils so high risk of cross contamination

Nice café tucked away off the High Street with indoor and outdoor seating and offering a variety of decent meals and drinks. It's also licensed. Sometimes you have to wait a while for your order when it's very busy so not the place to go if you're in a rush! But otherwise it's very good. Update 25/08/2022:- So glad it weathered the Covid storm! Still very good and enjoyed an excellent fresh veg curry with naan/roti, spring rolls and a tomato salsa for £8.50 Update 31/01/2023: Popped in for a coffee and treated myself to a vegan sausage roll. I'm not vegan but didn't fancy a meat sausage roll with processed pork. It was a good choice and I really recommend it to vegans and non-vegans alike!

Turned up at lunchtime to find pub closed, despite saying online that would be open. Phoned but no one answered (although answer message also said pub would be open). Fortunately the cafe down the road was open. (After a walk we were hungry!)

Had to go see if they had parasol fabric. They did, very helpful. Then, I pottered off for a cuppa and cake, which was lovely. Very well set out and plenty of all to do with camping things. Also, clothing. I'm defo back for a longer look. If ur into camping, it's the place to go.
