Peppinos Pizza in Bridgend

ordered a large mixed kebab paid £10 got home and started eating it only to find that it was no chicken in there just the doner meat in there BIG RIP OFF

So we regurlay order delivery without any problems.however coming home from Cardiff tonight we decided to walk up and order our food rather than ring to have it delivered! The order was taken without problem but when we went to pay we were told that it was “cash only” ( we order and pay every week electronically’ ‘) so,after,saying that we can’t pay with cash and would have to leave our food as we could only pay electronically we were called “A*holes’ as we left the premises ! Upon returning to the premises to explain that we aren’t actually A*holes bit had no other means to pay we were met with a barrage of abuse from the woman who works there who,obviously has “ anger issues’ - I would encourage you all to stay away from here!

Went to collect my order, only to see one of the staff scratch his beard for a good 15 seconds, before touching my pitta. They should be wearing gloves and a mask to cover facial hair. Dirty and disgusting. Deserves to be shutdown. Never again!

Absolute shambles. Ordered at 18:15 delivery confirmed for 19:20.... Several calls of being promised next 15 minutes and at 20:55 when still no sign of food was told food still not even cooked and would be another 25 minutes.. They then wondered why my partner was annoyed. Safe to say order cancelled and won't bother again.

Although the listing for this restaurant on ‘Just Eat’ states ‘Ordering for One’, on 2 occasions during lockdown I have placed an order (for 1 person obvs) the order has been cancelled! Twice! Clearly not happy to drive 11mins for a single-person order! Clearly this restaurant can afford to turn down money during this economic climate!!!!!

On an absolute whim we Gave Peppino's a go considering they were under new management. We ordered two pizzas and some chicken stripes, and they were all fantastic. Better than the big chain equivalents near by. Can't comment on delivery because we collected, but friendly staff, following all covid guidelines.. Happy to order again in future.

Placed an order in late December that was cancelled after they took my money. I’ve been waiting almost 2 weeks for the refund, tried phoning but no luck. They said they were too busy to speak to me and hung up the phone. Never ordering from here again.

We've been ordering for years! Sometimes twice a week (various people ordering in one household) but I can honestly say we won't be ordering again. Although the food is lovely, the gentleman that delivered to us recently had an awful attitude. He was so rude. Considering how many orders we put through that place I was shocked that they were willing to lose custom so easily. Unfortunately won't be returning.

Previously had 1 star food hygiene rating but seemed to turn this around. Then tonight, they had all staff working closely together with no masks or any Covid protections. No floor markings, no perspex screen etc.. Also giving out leaflets about how Covid is a conspiracy isn't really a serious problem. Found this a bit offensive dive as lost healthy 47 year old colleague to Covid back in April and aware our health board has already lost 5 staff in total - all way below retirement age. Shame on them using their business for irresponsible spreading of misinformation like this. Won't be going back on principle as because I don't want to catch Covid from them. Bit worrying.

Had one before on a week day absolutely amazing Unfortunately ordered one this evening with extra mushrooms Got home no Spicy Chicken at all on it neither any mushrooms so I've paid for a veg pizza . Rung im sorry about that.... Guttec . Won't be ordering again on a busy Saturday evening

I had a medium chicken shish £6.60, very disappointing, a small portion, I spent a while searching for the chicken, 3 tiny pieces of chicken. It was basically lettuce and coleslaw dumped on 1 small pitta bread. Poor presentation, looked a mess. As you can see from my picture attached, this was how it arrived. A colleague had the chicken wrap, again very small. I felt short changed, don’t mind paying for quality, a rip off. I wouldn’t bother with this place again.

We have had food from Pepinos quite a few times. The kebabs and burgers are decent but if you're going to eat here I'd recommend getting a pizza they are among the best we've ever had!

Have used others recently while under lockdown, decided to try as they’re closer and wasn’t disappointed. Wife really enjoyed her chicken shish kebab and I enjoyed my lamb donner kebab. Thanks guys will definitely use you again

Peppinos Pizza have always produced a consistently high standard of food across their entire range. The Kebabs are first rate, the Pizzas are likewise excellent. The burgers are far nicer than anything you get from the big chains and much better value. The service in shop is friendly and efficient. Pencoed is lucky to have such a fine take away.

I have had several deliveries for here since they opened new in my area. The coleslaw is amazing and food ir really nice having the option to pay on card with deliveries is a bonus

Ordered a take away from Peppinos Pizza on 'just eat' using the post code search (only a handful of takeaways came up), order was accepted only to be called to say they do not deliver to my area. Why does their shop come up on the 'just eat' search if they don't deliver to my area? Very disappointed.

I'm not really quite sure what to say about this place. The food was absolutely awful I don't think in all my years I've ever come across a takeaway quite so bad. I ordered potato wedges and they were cold oily and greasy and made me feel sick. I had some chicken strips and they gave me acid indigestion and tasted awful. And as for the kebabs they were truly awful they should have had a public health warning on them.It is grossly overpriced for the quality of food that you get. It has left as both with a bad stomach. And even the dog spat it out that should tell you everything.

Donner wraps snd chicken wraps are amazing. Coleslaw is the best! Always ready to collect when you phone your order in .... pizzas are freshly made and very tasty.

Peppino's pizzas are really, really tasty. Good selection and the 2 pizza deals on 10 and 12 inch make it much more reasonable than big chains. Would definitely recommend for pizza - can't comment on other menu items.

Kevan, fried chicken or pizza, they deliver, have tables but mostly takeaway. Good for kebab craving or after a bellyful of ale.

Can honestly say the takeaway I ordered from peppinos I ordered today was the worst I've had.Chilli cheese bites were cold and hadn't been cooked- barely defrosted. Not sure if the chicken wings were even cooked as they were like rubber. Not feeling well already.

Lost count of the amount of times I’ve had a large mixed donner meat and chips from ‘peps’ Some good, some bad, overall mostly good!

Received a good service, food was lovely. Did not wait long and it was cooked as you wait so nice and fresh. I will use this take out again.

Ordered from here tonight among a group of friends, completely messed up the order, gave us cold food, didn't provide what we asked for, when we rang up to ask them what had gone on the Receptionist (Lady) was rather boisterous, rude and was hurling abuse and swearing down the phone and STILL expected us to pay for the food they had messed up and did not even offer to change.

Ordered over an hour ago and still waiting. The owner is rude and unhelpful. We rang to order fresh hot food when our first order did not arrive and the owner added an extra 2 hours on to our delivery time. Disgusting and very disappointing. DO NOT ORDER

I am not overly a fan of delivery pizza (even Dominos)- but this one is ok. My husband (who is a fussy eater) loves this place. Food is always hot and fresh, prices are v gd.

This is a great takeaway and the food was really good. Prices are reasonable. The food was really tasty.

Chicken kebab with salad & garlic sauce, cheesy chips, chicken burgers etc.... a family order for 6 people!!

Had margarita pizza best taste ever also a hot and Spicey meat feast for other half too big could not eat all good value for money

Our regular Friday night visit to Peppinos never fails to make us happy! My Grandson polishes off a 10" hawaiian pizza and we have the chicken wraps ... always lovely and hot, and fast service too.

Been here a few times. Excellent Pizza with great selection. Kebab option if you prefer. Unsure whether they deliver but that may be a plus.

This is a great takeaway with great food. The food is really tasty and good choice. The prices are reasonable. Would defiantly be returning.

Food was very tasty and fresh. Portion sizes are very generous and staff were very polite. I'm a returning customer and would recommend the mixed kebab with chips.

Don't get me wrong the food from here is pretty food it'a just if you're given the wrong order and you dealt with the woman on the phone she will blame you for the mistake. This has happened to me and my best friend on 2 separate occasions
