Nobody ever answers phone or it just goes dead! Had really good food in the past but a bit annoyed as been charged twice for meal!!

Very good Sunday lunch. Homemade very tasty, good portions, easy to order, good prices. Highly recommend you try it out.

Just ordered a beef boginoiur with mash potatoes , I dnt no if its suppose to be for 2 but I could only just eat half the portion , the beef was falling apart and there was no grissle in it and the taste was stunning , the delivery was quick ,and "result" i have another portion for tea tommoro , I also had Xmas Dinner from here and it was beautiful , so will deff will be returning to taste more meals ...5*

Me and my family stayed a night in Porthcawl and we thought to get food now we think to get food from Porthcawl more often. Amazing food. Worth a wait. Amazing service food still hot when you get it

Woah! Taste is better than home! Ordered a meal for each person and no one was able to finish their meals!!! This is not for want of trying as the food was banging!!! So much so everyone was tasting everyone else's and no one could definitively say they ordered the best one. It was all so flavourful!!! The service was on point too. Got a notification to say they were delivering the food and 10 mins later they are at the door! Could not believe it!! The price is fair for the luscious food they provide! We'll be ordering again! Keep up the great food! Enjoy!!! (Time for my food coma!)

Passing by on the off chance of a Sunday lunch 2 adults & 2 children , friendly greeting upon entering, options were dine in or takeaway, I opted for a takeaway, good selection of meats and vegetables and extra gravy available. Cheesecake options looked tempting so we ordered 4 portions. Food arrived ready to takeaway and the packaging was perfect, everything in one large foil tray per meal, chose not to plate up and to eat from the foil tray, which is great for myself as no gravy spillage and minimal washing up afterwards, quality of the meal was perfect for myself, cheesecakes were amazing also, would highly recommend and will definitely order again in the future.

We ordered the traditional Sunday lunch as well as the vegetarian one and it was lovely. Very good value for money.

Very poor quality food. Frozen chips, soggy bottom on my burger bun. Had to pay extra for cheese. No condiments in bag. Three times the price of Burger King for 3 times lower standard👎🏻

Ordered Sunday Lunch to be delivered to Brodawel caravan park,delivered on time, piping hot,tasted great,would 100% recommend. £7 for Sunday lunch Beef,roast and mash,Yorkshire pudding, carrots,peas,broc, cauliflower cheese,cabbage,stuffing,pot of gravy tasted great No washing up

This business closed down for a while but has re-opened with the original owner having gone into a partnership. Unfortunately this has not improved quality. Prices are fair. The meals are of an adequate size but certainly couldn't be described as generous. The meat looked to be re-processed muck rather that carved off a joint. Overall quality was soul-less 'school dinner' standard. When this outlet opened it was the only place locally where you could collect a Sunday lunch, or have one delivered. COVID changed that, there are now umpteen businesses doing this and doing it better. You need to up your game guys! One of the desserts bought was a chocolate cake, extremely rich and of exceptional quality. Worth a try!

Me and my family had a weekend in Porthcawl and I'm so glad we found this place. We order the fajita which was huge, flavoursome but not spicy. The lasagne was was of the best had eaten when out. The burger was a good, proper burger not a little frozen patty. We decided to order Sunday dinner the next day for 4 adult and 2 kids. There was plenty of gravy. All the meats where tasty, tender and plentiful. The veg was beautiful and could tell it wasn't frozen. Everything was fresh and homemade. We couldn't finish all the meal, it was that filling. The prices are amazing, especially for the quality of food and service. My only one complaint is that I live an hour away and can't order from there regularly, but I will remember this place for our future day trips to Porthcawl.

Last night's order wasnt the same standard as previously had

It was my First time ordering from taste of home and The Sunday dinner was outstanding best take away dinner I’ve had in awhile, also the Nutella cheese cake was the best cheese I’ve ever had. Will definitely order again an will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

Ordered meal box, 2 burgers only one had cheese, ordered southern fried chicken without the cheese it came with cheese. silly mistakes for a first time customer, probably won't order again.

Ordered a vegan burger with onion rings for delivery. Had never heard of this place before. Was very very impressed. Food was spot on. Absolutely loved it. Cannot wait to order again.

An amazing Sunday Lunch! An unplanned order. Fitted us in immediately for 5 lunches, one being vegetarian. No long wait which I normally expect when placing a veggie order. Service was super friendly and efficient.The food was so fresh, tasty and beautifully presented, an absolute winner. 4 cheesecake puds were also wonderful 👏. First class service and quality. We've used this business on a few occasions when it has been too busy at home to cook or if we're due back home too late to prepare food. Food is good, portions are generous and prices are 'pub grub' level with delivery if needed. The proprietor has a very good customer service ethic and 'can do' attitude. The Sunday roast is particularly popular with slabs of beef (or whichever meat you've chosen), sautéed potatoes, carrots, cabbage, peas, mashed potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing, etc. and individual portions of gravy. My only niggle; the gravy could be thicker. We've always found the meat to be melt in the mouth. N.B. It closes at 4:30pm on Sunday. My decision to order from this establishment was informed by the displayed optimum food hygiene rating of 5/5, (Very Good).

Always had great food delivered from here... The homemade cheesecake is something else :-)

Lovely to find somewhere that cooks something other than chips with everything! Food hot even when being delivered. My only gripe is that it was closed one evening when it was supposed to be open. Hope all's well.

I've had an excellent, flawless experience with Taste of home. I rung up to make an order, and I asked about whether what I was ordering contained any milk. No hesitation, they were able to tell me exactly what was in my meal, and impressively this was because the southern fried coating is homemade by the chef herself! Incredibly polite, understanding of my allergy, friendly and helpful. The food was delivered in good time and was still very hot. I ordered the southern fried chicken fillet burger with bacon. I was beyond impressed, everything tasted so fresh, it was a proper chicken breast fillet, as if straight from the butcher. The southern fried batter, I could not praise enough, it was light, crispy, flavourful and most importantly it was NOT greasy, nor was it thick where it goes gloopy between the outer batter and the meat. The chicken itself was succulent and juicy in the best way. The bacon was a proper slice of bacon and was beautifully cooked. The chicken burger was generously garnished with what I requested and the sauce was excellent. The chips, I'm not personally fussed on thick cut chips, but these chips were delicious to say the least. You could tell they were freshly cut and made that day. All in all, it was a divine meal, beating all expectations I had. Truly a Taste of home... if not better! To top it all off it was so reasonably priced you can't beat it! Incredible quality at an incredible price. Thank you for a superb eating experience, and I cannot wait for the opportunity to enjoy your fantastic food again!

I’ve tried a few things on the menu and they have all been lovely. The Sunday roast is particularly good. It’s great to have a healthy takeaway option for when you don’t have the time or ingredients available.

Me and my partner have had many takeaways from here good quality and at a reasonable price. Never had a bad experience from here always been lovely. Excellent customer services really friendly.

Phoned for a carvery for 3 adults for delivery today and wasn't sure at first as not had Sunday lunch from a taste of home before. Glad I did now cos it was very nice and the meat was cut thick and very nicely cooked. I recommend the Sunday lunch. Next is to try the rest of their menu.

Just fancied a Sunday lunch and thought I would give these guys a try. It was very nice. Plenty of food but needs just that extra bit of gravy for myself.

Called in sat night and booked to pick up on sunday for 1pm. Great dinner for 6.99 and the dinner was ready. Wrapped up in large fish n chip covered tray and gravy separate in carton. Sealed and put in a tied carrier bag. Only issue gravy a bit watery but thickened up at home. Would use again.

not as great as I was expecting after reading reviews on facebook - beef was really tough as was the ham and the gravy was really watery. shame as I was looking forward to a nice dinner.

While staying at nearby trecco bay this is our new favourite! Tried a few dishes from here the Celtic pride steak burger stunning!Mediterranean chicken, chicken curry all beautiful and fresh and wow just had our first Sunday lunch takeaway I'm always dubious about Sunday lunch as very few places get that home cooked taste just right a lot of places do as I call a "joking dinner" but this was so nice and the gravy very tasty! We will definitely have one next week!

We decided to try this place out having received a flier through the door some months ago. I beleive they deliver but we fancied the drive anyway so phoned our order ahead (2×Chicken Chips and Coleslaw) then made our way down. A little bit of a wait when we arrived but when we got back home we were very happy with the order and i would gladly wait longer in future, for how nicely done it was. Simply beautiful tasting southern style chicken breast, very good old school home made chips and a light coleslaw. It was inexpensive costing just over ten pounds for the two of us.

Had a yummy takeaway Sunday lunch. Delicious cauliflower cheese. Great service. Just what we needed after watching the rugby. Would recommend x
