Chopstix Noodle Bar in Bridgend

Not as many food options as I was anticipating but I also understand I went to a more remote place (Bridgend food court). Also with they had more gluten-free options but again, remote area. Apart from those 2 small things, great food, fast service and lovely staff!

Not really a fan of this type of food but chopsticks is a winner every time. Fast service, decent food

Good food, good staff - only let down is it’s in McArthurGlen’s food court which is soulless and cold during the winter … not Chopsticks fault obviously.

Edy serving us was brilliant, really fast with the service, explained the meal deals to us so that were easy to understand, great conversation whilst preparing our food!

The food was hot, the Thai curry spicy enough and a good portion size. A lot tastier than the burger outlets nearby at much the same price. And a vouple of very nice guys serving up.

The service makes the meal! We always have great food here and we just got served by a guy that was very happy and up beat. Great service. The guy was tall with glasses.

Used to visit here regularly but never again will I waste my money, food quality has gone down massively all flavoured chicken is lacking flavour and the noodles were dry tasteless and overcooked, shame as I used to love the place!

Having never visited before, I was greeted with such kindness by our server, Richard, I very much look forward to visiting again. Fab food, easy to figure out the menus and lots of choice. The firecracker chicken was delicious, highly recommended as is this establishment. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

We read about this place before we went on our shopping trip,we were not disappointed,we both took the meal deal which consisted of fried rice or noodles three topping I had firecracker chicken,chicken curry and red Thai curry plus 5 spring rolls and a drink it was only £8.75 which I thought was great value

Chop Sticks is my go to one off treat now and again. I came in early evening of Tuesday 17th October. Very happy with my food; it's always tasty. As for customer service, the trainee, Ethan serving was fantastic. He was happy, chatty and welcoming. He is a great asset to your team. I really look forward to returning sometime in the future. Chopstix is amazing!! By far the best Asian food on offer!

Mixed views on today's service, initially dealt with by one very rude server and then rescued by one very polite server. Unfortunately didn't take their names. Food was good as always, but today's experience tainted by initial service.

the shop is quite busy. I think it is a little expensive when compare with YANGTZE. We had 3 middle lunch with a bottle of water and it costs GBP23.7. I think they had me wrong

This is mine and my daughter’s favourite place to go on a Friday. I love eating loads. I normally have caramel chicken and salt and pepper chicken, I also love the spring rolls. Yum yum.

The girls serving this evening were really lovely, they waited for me to download the app to ensure I got my points and free spring rolls, let me try the new Seoul flavour chicken while I waited and were nothing but kind and friendly.

Ordered food last Tuesday had such good service the food was not right after eating the food me and my grandmother was ill she had a bit of food poisoning and I was feeling unwell after the food very disappointed won’t be having foood from you guys again

Man who works there with dark hair 5ft10" ish. Very good seller and very friendly every time im there. The blonder women working there told him off for being slow while we fixed my signup on the app for some more spring rolls. I thought that was very rude to do that while giving good service to me. But ok. Always loved the food.

Didn’t stay they don’t take cash, no good to any of us as we pay cash not cards that could be cloned or robbed! We liked the look of it but won’t be trying it!

Against our better judgement. Bland/overpriced/ rubbish. When will we ever learn. Cardboard noodles with the smallest portion ever This place is seriously rubbish just go to McDonald’s next door at least you know your buying crap before you start so no expectations

I have just returned home from the pines, where I had great customer service from Ritchie in Chopstix. He had a huge welcoming smile and was more than helpful with giving me options on what to pick for my toppings :)

Came to eat at 1820 on sat 4th March….,only 3 dishes left to choose from!! The server told the staff that he wasn’t cooking any more food…then stayed cleaning the glass counters in front of us!! Huge queue of people behind us which by the time they got served could only have salt and pepper chicken….to add to insult …cook was still cooking to get online orders out!!! Staff obviously wanted to leave early tonight !! Lots of angry people…such a shame as love this place and food is outstanding …attitude of one of the servers was disgusting…we will not be back!

Fantastic food and choice that keeps me coming back for more. Generous portions and great flavours! Lara who works at Chopstix Bridgend is amazing and always welcomes you with a smile and has even got to know what my order will be before I get to the front of the queue. Her customer services is fantastic, and nothing is ever too much trouble. If there is a customer service award scheme, she should definitely win it!

Very fast service. Very polite. Lovely hot food. Only down side is no cash! Everything else was lovely.

Good choice of dishes, but portions were tiny. Had a medium which included 2 choices. I opted for the teriyaki beef which was mostly water and caramel chicken which only had 4 pieces of chicken. Very disappointed!

The Thai curry and springs were quite nice. Portion was good but tastewise rest of stuff just seemed bulk made with not much effort to produce 'tasty' food. One off for me but my palates acquired for really good Thai, Chinese food as a foodie, so for a regular not so fussy consumer it'll be fine.

Great place to stop off and eat if you're shopping in McArthur Glen. Good range of toppings, staff are friendly if you need help or advice.

Beautiful food,clean and tidy, love coming here

First visit in two years (due to pandemic and lockdowns etc). What happened to Chopstix? Carton sizes are reduced and the staff were individually counting each piece of food item into portion. I hate that. It smacks of penny pinching. Also, the noodles were luke warm. All things considered, this was a unremarkable experience and regrettably, my last visit to Chopstix.

Food is great, only reason it's not getting a 5 star is because the staff are a bit rude.

All looks good from the outside and as it is new there seemed plenty of staff. The food was good - you get what you pay for and as it is fast food and relatively cheap I do not expect fine dining. Although plenty of staff they are not fully trained and/or used to serving in this type of arena. With a queue one was busy doing admin in full view of the customers - not a good impression, two were on the wok cooking and neither seemed to be comfortable at the wok and one even stroked his hair while cooking!! The hygiene of the place leaves a lot to be desired, the floor badly needed a mop and tables needed clearing, the toilets too, had been hygienically neglected. Overall a disappointing start but I may return for ceap(ish) different fast food.

Queued for 25mins in the Swansea one today in my work break evevntually got my food got to paypoint and they don't take cash stupid rule so i didn't have anything to eat for lunch they should do both

Not a very big que , but ive been in it now for half hour, not much going on behind counter

NO BASIC HYGIENE and NO REPLY . Visted today and the food wasn't actually too bad, the staff were miserable as if they were being forced to work there. What bothered me the most was that the guy cooking the food in the background was chewing gum while leaning over the woks. I told the other staff members that he shouldnt be doing that and the response was, 'oh i dont know' and she walked away from me. Would not reurn and would defo not recommend. Even after replying to there comment left on here they still havent given me an explanation instead they have now completely blanked me.

The meals were OK but the staff flatly refused Student Discount to so many of us. They should keep their words they advertise so much!

Ordered several Chopstix in the past and they have always been of a good standard but our most recent order was delivered with half the food missing and the food that was delivered was cold. Rung up to ask what happened and met with some very unhelpful customer service stating to ring back tomorrow and add it on another order… won’t be choosing Chopstix anytime soon.

Absolutely disgusting attitude from one of the staff members. Didnt want a base because im allergic to egg so asked for two toppings on their own - spoken to like scum from start to finish. Didnt bother ordering and wont be returning. Shocking!

Still good food but less of it. 1/3 less for the same price. I was trying to find a way not to go here anymore. Reason now… too expensive! Rather have a Chicken or Monkfish Bhuna! Nearly the same price! I’m finding people give 5* because it’s better than their own cooking. My cooking is far superior yet I’m not a great cook either. That doesn’t fair well for the reviews given.

My FAVOURITE food place ever, I can not tell you how delicious in my opinion all the food their is, I've never liked McDonald's really and when I tried this I went back for more. 100% need to try staff are kind and the food gets done fast. Only thing I would say is maybe on a Saturday afternoon it's gets a bit busy and queues maybe a bit long but doesn't put me of at all I could wait in a queue for this for days. 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌👌👌
