Peppers Restaurant Chiswick w4 in Hounslow

First of all I will start with the pros. Good temperature, good portion sizes, meat good quality, onion bhajis really good. However the cons are the rice was bland and the garlic chill chicken curry just didn't have the flavour it needed to be a good curry. I have cooked better myself and I'm no chef. If they can get the punch of flavour into the dishes then it could be good. Hopefully the can improve their dishes

Ordered takeway from Ubereats. This restaurant is an Indian garb on some ridiculously bad spicy mix flavours. Absolutely tasteless. Ordered the prawn tandoori which was the best amongs the ones ordered below. 1. Prawn biryani - tasteless though more than average no. of small 50/60 sized prawns but far too chewy - seemed to be cooked right from frozen i think. There were absolutely no flavours , but only colour and oil. 2. Prawn Amon tik - I really cant begin to understand whether this dish was spelt wrongly or what. Gravy tasteless , yellowish with coriander or parsely in there. The king prawns in here were chewy. 3. chicekn Korma - the worst of the lot - tasteless , chicken pieces hard. 4. garlic naan - far too chewy. 5. Prawn tikka - whilst best of the dishes that I ordered, well below average in taste. My 2 boys and me remained hungry and had to bin the food. Will never order again.

Generous portions, delicious curries, and really tasty naans. "A cheeky Peppers" has become our go-to takeaway over the last few years.

Regularly get a delivery from Peppers. Never takes too long and the food is always fresh and lovely.

Was hesitant due to negative reviews but I decided to give it a shot .. and it was super tasty. Without doubt, best Indian food I ate in recent years. Definitely recommends it

The waiter of this place weirdly became unbelievably rude and inattentive after we simply asked if they sell alcoholic beverages when we were ordering food. Seemed as if he is intolerant and biased towards people who tend to drink alcohol. The food was also not the best we’ve ever had. Also we were not given napkins, only after asking at the end of the meal for the second time did he provide us with some. Would not recommend considering the prices are quite high as well.

We have been big supporters of this hidden gem in Chiswick. The food is outstanding and the service exemplary. We have tried most of the dishes on the menu and found no bad thing. The restaurant used to have a BYO policy towards alcohol but yesterday we were informed that the management have decided to ban all alcohol consumption on the premises. How can you have a curry without an ice cold Cobra or Kingfisher? We will return once this policy has been reviewed and will only order take away from now on.

Was delighted in these difficult times to find a takeaway for delivery but sadly the food was appalling, the tandoori chicken dry and burnt, the bindi bhaji had no flavour and the sag aloo was totally tasteless, not even mediocre simple awful food, avoid at all costs.

If you love Indian cuisine, then this is the place to be. This place really captures the streets of India in its food. I can almost feel the sun beating down on me in New Delhi, as I bite into my rogan josh. When you go ask for Ricky. He couldn’t of been more friendly, service with a smile and you never go without. We got on so well that he is actually attending my sons 12th birthday party. Check this place out!!!!!

Placed an order of korma and masala with sides etc. The korma was spicy and full of tomatoes! Called and had another sent. The send the same one with what seems like some coconut milk thrown in!! Still spicy!! They have new staff but come on! People like me that CANNOT eat spice have korma for a reason! It’s not supposed to be spicy! Called up to complain and after many years as a good customer and I am shocked at the way I’ve just been spoken to!! I told him I was very upset and won’t be coming again and he said fine. When I asked if he wasn’t bothered about losing a valued customer I was told no!! Spice makes me ill so I requested the whole amount be refunded ! They argued with me!! After sending me not one but two hot Kormas !!

Peppers is the best, great food, great staff, bring your own beer, which I find is pleasure, have been going for years, always enjoyed, chicken tikka is a must. Cheers peppers

The staff are so rude and have no manners at all. The food was totally rubbish & disgusting and the restaurant is very dirty. Driver is stupid & useless - would never have food from this restaurant ever again for my own safety.

A cosy restaurant with friendly staff and great good. I tried a signature dish South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken and it was well presented, flavoursome and a good portion size. Will be back soon....

The food is lovely here, but if you eat in the restaurant you need to order twice as much as if you ordered a take away. Staff are lovely. Atmosphere is really awful. It feels like a corridor of waiting deliveroo and just eat drivers waiting to collect their orders.

divine indian food... just sublime...! try the ceylon, tikka masala - out of this world...! good prices, fast delivery, dead cert for a wonderful meal any night of the week.

Visitamos por primera vez la semana pasada y lamento decir que será la última. Ambos teníamos platos de cordero: la carne estaba seca y dura, enormes trozos de pimientos verdes que no habían sido cocinados, el plato parecía un desastre servido en pequeños cuencos blancos, cortados descuidadamente y apilados en el pequeño plato frío. ¡La espinaca estaba congelada y sabía a algas! Tan decepcionante ya que esta es una de las pocas casas de curry en Chiswick local para nosotros, pero volveremos a King Street W 6 en el futuro.

This is the best curry by far with no grease whatsoever. Take-away seems better than eating in somehow!

I have eaten in many Indian restaurants all over the country and I really enjoy Indian cuisine. The food in this restaurant is up there with the best Top quality food. Order in advance if ordering a takeaway. Well done chef and well done peppers

Been looking for a decent Indian takeaway. My search is over! Only criticism is not sure why tandoori mixed Masala is so expensive. Chicken on bone so hardly any meat. Will avoid this next time. All the other dishes superb! Thank you.

GO ELSEWHERE!! All dishes were under seasoned under spiced and quite frankly bland! One of the currys was not even the correct one. Naans were burnt also. Chopped salad arrived in an unappetising plastic bag. Absolutely not worth the money. Poor by all standards

Very tasty food and generous portions

Food is above average. Delivery atrocious. Driver was a mess. Couldn't find large apartment complex in London that 40 previous deliveries in Just Eat found without enquiry. Called multiple times lost and clueless.

Used Peppers at least 7 times and they are excellent!

i ordered a tandoori chicken tikka masala which cost £9, its didn't have any flavour at all and I don't know how this place has 4 stars. i will not be ordering from here again.

Everything was sweet and tasted the same! Clearly the same sauce was used for all the curries! Never going back. My friends chose to leave the food and eat at home. Terrible experience.

Food was amazing, would definitely order from here again. Delivery man got slightly lost but couldn't have been more apologetic so we put it behind us and moved on. Looking forward to my next peppers already.

Quite disappointing food quality. Onion Bhajis were dry and Samosas were chicken instead of lamb. We had a prawn curry and a chicken curry and both tasted like they had been made using passata, more like a pasta sauce than a curry. Rice was good though and delivery speed was excellent though.

There's a secret recipe. The food is amazing and very different! Try it, will not be disappointed!

Absolutely my favourite, as always thanks for a delicious meal, and the papadums. I always like to try something new from their menu and have not been disappointed. Fast delivery, delicious food.

Even though I have been a regular customer at this restaurant it is fair to say that I won't be ordering from here again. Ordered £35 worth of food and it tasted like it was worth £5. The chicken in every dish tasted as though it wasn't seasoned neither was the sauce around. Didn't actually taste like Indian food tasted more like plain rice and unseasoned chicken. The Bombay aloo were plain potatoes in a tomato sauce but they're meant to be spiced potatoes. The pompadoms were also not fresh they were stale. It's safe to say my experience from peppers tonight was pretty awful and sorry to say I will not be returning

Excellent service as usual. My favourite place to eat, delivery yesterday was impecable, food was at my door within 15 minutes.

My last review was small criticism for the amount of sauce in a meal and I have to say that they listened. Bavo!!! After today delivery this is the only possible review of this food, restaurant and service! Bravo!! Amazing!!

Food was nearly two hours late. When it did arrive it was cold. Staff were unhelpful offering a free main next time I ordered but obviously won't order again. I had to reheat my food when it did come.

Food is generally great for Chiswick (which generally struggles badly for curry) but they often add loads of time to the Just Eat ETA. Expect good food, but not at the predicted time.

Order regular as the food is of a high standard and never disappointed

Easy to order and I like that you can see what your previous orders were. Delivery was faster than expected which was a plus. On the app I would like to see a link between the items in your order and the menu description. Currently if you want to know exactly what is you ordered you have to go back to the menu and scroll through until you find the item and its description. Also I would like the written description on the items actually delivered to be clearer as I found it impossible to read. Perhaps this might be handled efficiently by having each menu item assigned a number and that number written on each delivery item. That would be fast, efficient and I would know which item was which. These are minor points to be sure and I am very happy with this service.

Excellent delivery time as came quicker than expected. Lovely food and portions just right. Nice to see it wasn't just the same sauce with just different spices which can sometimes be the case.

Delicious food and lots of good vegetarian options, the korma and garlic rice was so good and they even gave me a free treat because it was my birthday :) lovely friendly delivery driver and food hot, boyfriend said meat was very well cooked and lots of chunks of it in the curry! Delivery was quicker than expected but I wouldn't order again. The food was standard and hardly had a kick to it. Ordered lamb balti- was sweet (surely a curry should be spicy?) Pilau rice- average, taka dhal- needed salt, paratha- greasy. The free papadoms was the highlight of the meal

Estábamos en Chiswick para ver la exposición de linterna mágica y pasado este restaurante indio pensamos nip en y tienen un rápido curry.

Hemos estado comiendo aquí durante años y he probado cada casa de curry en la zona, con pocas excepciones. Creemos que es uno de los mejores currys en el oeste de Londres. El servicio es siempre amable y excelente. Hacen un comercio de comida para llevar, aunque rugiente, así que tendréis que esperar un poco más para la comida en las horas pico. El restaurante no está autorizada, pero la puerta siguiente budgens es perfecta para recoger unos Cobras o una botella de vino. Hemos encontrado la comida tan caliente y delicioso si nos detenerse para una cena improvisada para dos, o nuestro tradicional Nochebuena curry 10. Siempre recomiendo pimientos a mis amigos. Nuestra única crítica constructiva es el interior necesita un poco de renovación ya que no ha cambiado en algunos años, pero está limpio y sencillo y una vez que comience a comer te olvidas de todo esto. Muchas casas tienen dobladas, curry, pero la comida y la relación calidad-precio (y conseguir un Tastecard es una auténtica ganga) en estancias que han garantizado Pepprs una gente favorito. Ant y Diciembre también son clientes habituales, así que con tal clientela exigente no te puedes equivocar. Pruébalo!

Do not use this restaurant i had food poisoning from the prawn dansak utterly disgusting they smelt weird like they had been washed in soap it was most odd i had a few mouthfuls and was off work for two days and throwing up I've never had that from a takeaway before will never go back filthy people yuk!!!!!!

This one probably ranks in the top 3 Indian food places I've eaten at so far in London. Beautiful sauces, great rice, tasty samosas and papadums. I'd only suggest one thing - put more spices and garlic in the garlic and keema naans!

They forgot to give me my naan bread but when I rang they sent someone over with it straight away. Very impressed and the food was top notch.

I still havent found a decent local curry on JustEat. These resturants seem to lag significantly behind the local chinese resturants and pizza places. Pros: - I was given an extra 4 poppadoms - The madras had the perfect level of spice - The delivery chap was very nice and I felt sorry for him being out in the rain - The onion salad condiment was good and I havent found it on other JustEat restarants - It was relatively cheap Cons: - It was 10 minutes late - It was luke warm (possibly due to lateness) - The madras came in a foil container which had leaked all over the paper bag the meal came in. - These foil containers cant be put in the microwave, i suggest using plastic ones instead - I've had tastier mango chutney

Well, they never dissappoint. Their food is simply amazing. It is almost addictive. But I suppose that is a good thing. 😉
