Peppers is amazing! The food is delicious, and Avi at the front provides excellent customer service. Even during a busy time, she made sure everyone felt welcome. It’s rare to see someone that dedicated. Highly recommend this place for great food and service!

Please don't waste your money. Don't like put down places. Where people earn. But this place is not nice at all. The chicken was 1.5 out of ten!

This was a horrible experience. The food was substandard and the size of the chicken breast in the burger was actually a joke. Tried to give the food back because I didn't even eat it as I lost my appetite looking at it, and they spent about 15 minutes not agreeing to refund my money. They left me with the receipt of what I ordered for food the next time I go there, even though I told them I ain't coming back, so they just scammed me out of my money and kept the food too. So, I lost out on £20 and no food and shitty service. I wouldn't bother, much better peri peri chicken places very close by.

Take your money but deliver food 2 hrs later. Never again will I be ordering!

I went to peppers City Takeout Alum Rock. The guy who served me was rude his name was hamza. He said to me you are Rich. I spent my own money. I will not be visting peppers City Takeout Alum Rock again. Bad experience.

I free regular from this place but this time food was disgusting 🤢, runny watery sauce n bland chicken Phone them up and complained and manger had stupid excuse that the chief was experimenting on my expense Aweful … wouldn’t go back. Wow …. Awful, disgusting 🤮 food, chicken was in some watery sauce looked crap, called the restaurant and asked he pretend to talk to someone and said his the manager but can’t speak English properly , make up a excuses that the chief trying a new thing, so I said on my expense…. He never once offered to collect and re do the food and I order regular been going there for years. My daughter got stomach ache from the food …AVOID AT ALL COST. you can come and collect the food free gift from me … as your to stingy to offer.

The lamb chops were not even cooked properly - raw and not chewable at all. Far from even medium well.

Place an order for Collection not to long ago and arrived 20 minutes later to pick it up, just to be told that my order wasn’t made because someone else with the same name order food at few hours ago and didn’t pick up the food, even though my number has be shown on the telephone for the time I called they didn’t even offer to take my order or even offer me an alternative Very poor service considering I regularly order from here Disappointed

I recently visited Peppers in Lozzels, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I decided to eat in the shop, thinking that freshly cooked food would be the best option. However, I was quite disappointed with what I received. First off, the food was cold. I ordered a burger, expecting it to be hot and juicy, but it was barely warm. It's really frustrating to sit in a restaurant and receive cold food when it's supposed to be freshly prepared. To make matters worse, the bun was hard and stale. It's like it had been sitting out for ages before being served to me. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe it was just a one-time mistake, but the overall quality of the food was just not up to par. The flavors were bland, and the cold temperature made it even less enjoyable. It's disappointing because I had heard good things about Peppers, but my experience was far from what I expected. The service was okay, but that didn't make up for the poor quality of the food. Eating in the shop should have guaranteed a hot meal, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I hope they can improve their food quality and ensure that customers receive hot, fresh meals in the future. For now, I can't give more than 2 stars based on my experience.

Actually was quite surprised with this place, prices was reasonable food was good and was spacious inside the restaurant...a good choice rather than going to pepes across the road...only issue was peri peri chicken wrap was very small and not filling at all as a meal

Price was high according to the food quantity. Also they seem to focused on delivery and not bothered about in-store customers.

I’ve always enjoyed peri peri chicken, especially the extra hot version. From the very first day, it was the perfect blend of heat and flavor. However, I’ve noticed that the taste has changed a bit over the years. It’s still delicious, but the spice level isn’t as high.

Went for lunch here took ages to prepare the order and rude customer service. Had Grilled chicken which was just ok. Go in if you have an ample amount of time to wait.

I've been a regular customer for years until this incident occurred. I called to address the issue of receiving the wrong item (fillet burger) instead of the mega mix meal I had ordered. The staff member I spoke to not only failed to own up to the mistake but she also attempted to convince me that my observation was wrong. I don't think she was aware that I had eyes to see the order was incorrect. Even after she initially agreed that the order given was incorrect, She backtracked stating the order was "100% correct". The staff that I spoke to was quite patronising and lacked customer service skills to deal with a complaint, also confusing a 'fillet' with a 'chicken strip'. She also intentionally tried to put words into my mouth many times in attempts to make herself seem correct/superior and to invalidate my polite honest complaint. Whilst also providing entertainment to the guys in the background who found it amusing. By looking at the other reviews regarding staff leaving customers 'on hold' and being 'rude', I can now believe it after this experience.

Have ordered few time and had any problem called them up and spoke to Nisha one of the staff there amazing customer service. Also lovely food and fresh their mixed grilled platter is my go to really delicious.

Never ordering from here again, as my baby sister almost swallowed a stapler which was found in the food. This is so dangerous and should never had occurred!!!

Been alittle while since I had last ate from here... On this occasion, we got a few different burgers, couple of megamix burgers, mexicana burger and chicken fillet burger, taste n quality of burgers is gone downhill, fries were a major let down also

Amazing food with extravagant flavoured sauces. I have tried food from this place a few times, and it never fails to impress. Customer service is flawless, and the staff are always on hand to help with choices of food to eat. No offence, but Pepe's is not in comparison as Peppers tops it by miles.

Food quality has been on-point every time we've come (and that's a good few years now). The place is always clean and inviting. The counter staff are always friendly only real criticism is the kitchen could do with being a bit more organised, as on occasions I've noticed my order is ready but it hasn't been put forward and it's just sitting there in the bag.

Peppers is one of my favorite places for piri piri. Every item is delicious 😋

best place in alum rock got served by a very nice young lady by the name of hava (best service in alum rock by this girl always very understanding and takes care of customers ) had the best burgers in town by this young lad who was very professional) very quick service and all the staff members working there this morning where very polite and generous and genuinely a happy working environment could tell the staff get along the environment itself was clean as the girl on till showed respect towards the business. we definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Went the other day and ordered a single burger and I was given a cold bun which was also very hard. The chicken itself was fine just the bun preparation needs reconsideration. I ate it as soon as it was given so there was definitely something wrong in the process.

Food was okay. The gourmet burger wasn’t all that, no real flavour to it even with the toppings. Fries were decent, mozzarella sticks were nice. The sauces that were in the bag popped all over the food so that was annoying. Definitely not with the price of almost £12. Won’t be coming back here.

My experience at peppers has been so good, their quality and taste has been better than other piri-piri food joints. They are kind enough to give you extra sauce and one time they gave us one portion of piri piri fries for free! (Must be my lucky day!) Staffs are friendly, place is clean food is worth every penny spent! Do visit, they won’t disappoint you! Or you can order on Uber eats too! Every time I’ve ordered, I’ve gotten the same food I eat in the restaurant!

I don’t know what has changed but disgusting. service is dead the girl didn’t even smile. Came in about 2 months ago and was impressed by the food and service as I didn’t see it in other shops by a different girl who made conversation with me and made me laugh but very disappointed today by this new girl. Food was okayish but the toilets weren’t the best

Came in twice today around 1pm and then about 9pm the service between being served by the morning and evening girls are very different you really need to get new staff for the evening, there was 2 girls on the till in the evening yet she was very rude and ended the call multiple times when I tried to place my order she kept saying okay but made my order wrong and acted as if she didn’t care and didn’t want to work. GET YOURSELF NEW PEOPLE ON TILL FOR EVENINGS. Couldn’t complain about morning she was very polite and smiled. Food was amazing tho never seems to fail yet disappointed at service. If people can’t understand basic English they shouldn’t be serving or on till should take that up with staff.

Last night, I had dinner at Peppers and ordered chicken. However, I was disappointed to find that the chicken was undercooked. When I spoke to the manager to brought this in his attention, it became apparent that he had difficulty in understanding English and comprehending my concerns. Regrettably, he reacted rudely and, instead of addressing my complaint and resolving the issue, he shifted the blame on me for expressing my dissatisfaction.

I paid £8 for a Chicken and Rice. There portion was tiny, chicken pieces were the same to. I been ordering for a long time, but from now one I will avoid this shop.

Best thing about this place is the music, lol waited ten mins for her to give my Pepsi can while my food is getting cold. Other staff telling me wait 1 min I don’t understand the staff here !

Very bad service. We ordered food of £26 and received product of maximum £10. The items were not similar. We dont know whose order is this. There was no receipt. We don’t know what's inside these items (pork/beef or chicken) as there's no receipt and it's not our order. We got it by Uber and there was no slip attached by the restaurant, no name of the recipient, no number or anything attached with the packet. We tried to contact the Uber driver, did not pick up the line. We called the restaurant they said, they dont know who has picked up the order. They left the issue unsolved. We never seen any delivery without receipt. This is the first time. They did not even try to solve the issue, we wanted to talk to the manager but the lady did not transfer the call. Our £26 wasted.

Horrible vibes. The manager was criticising front staff (Maybe the deserved it) The drama being prolonged and felt embarrassed for the staff. Couldn’t enjoy meal with all of the bad energy in the shop. Will avoid. They shouldn’t be discussing these matters in the front but in private. Though food is good, will stick to pepes in future.

Orders curly fires for £2.50 n hardly had 1 or 2 curly fries in it. Nothing special in burgers. Used again. Beef burgers were good. Slow service, took 30 min for 4 burgers, out of stock for mayo. Prices reasonable n good family deals
