Peppers in Waltham Forest

the food was delivered 1 hour 50 mins after being ordered. had to phone restaurant twice and fobbed off. when the food was finally delivered it was freezing cold! won't be ordering from here again!

Whenever trying a new place I always have a set order to judge them by. The king prawn puree was delicious, even though the prawns were ever so slightly overcooked (I’m sure when not being delivered they’d be perfect) the madras was full of body and nicely spiced. My only criticism would be the mint sauce was fairly light on actual mint. Will definitely be using them again.

First time ordering from here, the food was tasty but would have liked a little more meat in the lamb Korai and the chicken samosas i was expecting chicken mince but it was chicken and potatoes. It was enjoyed though. Thank you

Always great food at great price.

Food is decent from Peppers but the meat is very scarce in some of the dishes. The last couple of times I've ordered there's been very little chicken in the curries and last night this was still the case. Also I had a tandoori kebab starter and there was four little bite sized pieces of chicken in it. it barely filled a third of the container it was in. Be a little more generous please.

Good food as usual, however the Peppers special wasn't great for the price.....a soggy samosa, 1 piece or chicken tikka, pakora and a kebab!

Always great food from here! I’ve moved to Denham so when I visit family we get a curry!! Gutted they don’t deliver to there! Always hot and taste good! The driver is always so polite and cares about his customers!

I ordered the king prawn bhuna but when I received it, there were only 3 prawns cut up into 2 inside it. As I had the 20% off deal this is very cheeky and also dishonest marketing to the customers especially at the cost of £11.80! Not happy..

Great food overall , delivery time spot on , food all fresh and tasty, however.... one item ordered was below par , the lamb madras, recieved only 7 small pieces of meat and the dish was 75% sauce , have ordered from here before and had no issues, hopefully this was just a mistake at dishing up.

the saag was a tad salty unlike usual but overall it was good

food ready on time picked up with no fuss and we got some free poppadoms too

chicken pasanda and naan was cold. naan was the same size as my hand and the pasanda was a dark brown. had 5 pieces of chicken in. abit stingy

We had the tikka Jalfrezi mix oh my goodness I have never tasted anything so delicious. I’ve ordered curries from places before and I’ve not been happy with them. This place is amazing. The flavours are just beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful wonderful meal.

Ordered three curries not up to standard, not worth the money. The phall was bland and no effort was made to make it (tasted like the other two curries had been mixed together to make phall).

pakoras were disgusting, they were cold and soggy. also the paratha bread was cold soggy and tasted like it had been cooked days ago . the orange oil that was in the bag and all over the container s has put me off delivery . after this food order I would not eat in or get delivery from here again .

What has happened to Peppers? Bland, no flavour and very little meat

Food arrived early and hot. with a few poppadoms and mint chutney thrown in as complimentary. However, food was very bland. no depth to flavour, lacked salt and spice from the meat and veg dishes. We had leftovers after the meal, which normally we'd look forward to the next day, sadly all went in the bin. Unfortunately we won't be ordering again.

Arrived piping hot and all very tasty. We are creatures of habit and probably quite tame when it comes to curries but we know we will never be let down when ordering from Peppers

Very disappointing, tiny amount of meat in the dishes, chicken tikka buna swimming in oil. Chicken pakora the worst I’ve ever been served. Sadly won’t use again. Not the high quality that once existed from this restaurant.

Great timing , delicious food. Tried the vegetable bhuna, compliments to the Chef . It was gorgeous.

wrong item I ordered lamb samosa and they sent veg samosa which I don't like that much else food was good

I asked for a phone call on arrival when delivering my order but it seems they couldn’t follow the instruction and they knocked on the door. I feel if they work for any food delivery company they should be trained to read instructions by customers and to follow delivery instructions and if they can’t follow instructions then they should not accept the order to deliver

Sadly not as good tonight. My veg side dishes had 1 piece of potato in and a tiny broccoli floret.

Everything Very greasy. Keema Naan was just a plain Naan. Rice was tasteless

late delivery! ordered a paswaari naan but got a garlic instead the missus was not best pleased!!

Delivery was ok. Food was cold on arrival! the food is normally good from Peppers not sure what happened today. Very disappointed!! Chilli paneer was not what l expected in a sauce! had ordered it before that didnt come in a sauce. Butterfly prawn was awful absolutely tasteless - don't know what batter they used. Lamb chops tasted burnt.

The food was early, which isn't an issue but it was cold and watery. The guy who delivered it almost looked like he was 'training' the guy who was with him and was routing around in the boot

Called restaurant when food not arrived and Just Eat stated the order was delivered. Restaurant stated there was a technical fault and the order would be a further 5-10 minutes. Prior to ordering, the delivery time was listed as 45-55 minutes. It took over 90 to arrive. Not their usual excellent service!

Normally great food from this restaurant but wasn’t great this time round, and portions seemed smaller and were very oily…..would have preferred to have paid full price and got more food. Others out there that do it better based on this experience.

Last week we had a great meal, this week it was awful the prawn dish had three prawns and looked and tasted like baby food. The Butter Chicken gave its recipient tummy ache. The lamb gourmet dish was supposed to be moderate heat, but was like a normal masala, plus the Somoza’s were swimming in grease. I can’t see us coming back.

Garlic nan…. Was just name.. it was just like normal nan… there was no garlic test.. at all…

Unfortunately my delivery was over 1 hour late. I tried multiple times to call the restaurant for an update but they never answered. When the food finally arrived it was cold. The sag aloo had 1 piece of potato the rest was just watery spinach and the ocra was tasteless. Normally I have nothing but positive things to say about this restaurant. Sadly last night was awful. I will not risk ordering again.

Food was half hour late, mixed grill cold, madras and Bombay aloo runny like water. Restaurant obviously to busy to deliver good food in time. Quantity over quality, not great!!!

Starter of tandoori prawns only 2 small prawns. Soggy poppadoms. Curry used chicken tikka not chicken - too hot. Really poor food.

Unfortunately, we didn't receive the Pilau Rice that is advertised as 'included with the Dhansak'. Nice extra to receive free dips and Poppodoms, although they were quite oily.

Food was lovely but not much meat and lots of sauce, more meat would be better. Still delicious and will continue to order.

Food overall ok but the Veg masala as a main was a red korma sauce with 2 pieces of potatoes in it. Not sure where the rest of the veggies went, so I paid almost 10 pounds for sauce mostly. Rest of the food was ok.

All Incredible as usual. The chicken tikka pathia is especially amazing.
