5 stars. Ordered a lamb biryani with dhal instead of vegetable curry and asked for it to be spicy and they did just as I asked. Amazing customer service, delicious food and was made very quickly. Have been ordering from here from a while back and it is just as good as it was back then. 100% recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for authentic Asian food that tastes great, is fresh and is made quickly and to your standard. Amazing !!!

Lovely authentic south Asian food. Food is 10/10, full of flavour and aromatic. Been going here for 10 years. Owners are so lovely and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone and everyone ! :)

I’ve been ordering curry in a hurry for just over 3 years now and wow. All I can say is their quality of food only gets better. The staff for one are amazing, very attentive over the phone, always listen to delivery instructions when ordering online, happy faces and lovely conversations when food is dropped. I’ve had the same driver for about a year and a half now and he is wonderful. The food is delicious, if I’m not in the area and people want a curry, I will travel to Walthamstow for a pickup order, because I would rather order a curry that makes me feel full and tastes amazing then order from another place and be disappointed. I can say that I only order curry from this place as they deliver the food in a hurry like their restaurants name, so they more than live up to that. My order is : Chicken Vindaloo, Pilau rice, chicken shashlik, onion Bhaji’s, Bombay aloo, pappadoms, plain nan. This food lasts me for a filling dinner and a filling lunch the next day. I’ve never known a place to really fill out their containers. The spice on the vindaloo is just mouth watering. You can taste the flavour when the food is in the air and it’s just wonderful. All I can say is 5 stars, a massive thank you to the cooking department and to front house and the staff overall. Excellent food, excellent staff - anytime you fancy a curry in no doubt get it from curry in a hurry

Contrary to name! Ordered 18.16, estimated 18.56, called just after 19, told give them extra 10 mins, food arrived 19.35. Garlic naan tasteless, Cauliflower still hard throughout. No online discount applied when ordering as mentioned on flyer. Won't be using again.

0/0 Stars Wouldn’t recommend Got order completely wrong gave me quorn curry when I ordered prawn then also didn’t give me the rice I ordered so in the picture I had to put my own rice to make a meal and to top it off the guy is argumentative on the phone then puts the phone down on us knowing he is in the wrong…. I have never seen something more disgusting in my life. I have order on Uber eats at 8pm and receive it at 10pm. The staff was heavy rude and was trying to tell us that we ordered 10 minutes ago each time we called them. I will not be ordering again. If you don’t want to be disrespected I wouldn’t order with them

I will not be ordering again the staff are so rude and disrespectful. The only this we wanted was food to come on time but was 2 hours late.

Fantastic food unfortunately it arrived 40 mins late and no one answered the phone when we tried to call a few times to check in on the delay. Delivery person apologised but would’ve been helpful to just pick up the phone and give us an update.

Good food, good price. Big portions. Extra complimentary portion. Gosth Kata Masala, new to me, very tasty. Too much for one meal. Looks like good curry again on Wednesday. Spot on.

I see a few bad reviews but our experience has always been good with the eat in service when available and also take away and delivery. Use often and will continue to.

I will not be ordering from this place ever again. Ordered over the phone my order came to just under £20. When it was delivered the receipt showed they had overcharged me by £5. Will not be using again. Food very average.

Food is very basic & blend. Quantity is fine, but no spices at all. Lacks taste & quality

Very very disappointed with Curry in a Hurry. My food was an hour late. I called the restaurant about 6 times and all they did was repeat the fact that my order was 5 min away and that this was the driver's fault. When my order finally arrived, the driver stated that he was only given this order 10 min ago. As expected, the food was cold. The bread was soggy and wet. I called the restaurant, complained and asked for a full refund. The man who I spoke to was so rude and told me that he does not believe me that the food is cold. When I asked for his name as I intent to make an official complaint, he just put the phone down on me. I called again and he hanged up again. This is unacceptable and their rudeness and refusal to take responsibility is truly staggering. Avoid!

I ordered Chicken Masala with Pilau Rice and Naan Bread, The food was very tasty and still hot when arrived. Exactly what I wanted. Perfect. The delivery was very fast too.

Absolutely terrible.. do not order from this place! Paid for a main grill and received a small grill from starter menu.. pilau rice is not authentic but simply white rice with specs of multicoloured green and rice.

Poor quality food. Bajji's dripping in grease. Paneer not fresh Chilli chicken questionable, as in is this actually chicken I'm eating. Vegetables over cooked and withered.

A year or so ago it was one of the best indian takeaways I have known in 40 years of eating Indian food. Brilliant quality food with proper use of spices. In the last few months it has steadily deteriorated to the point now where it is some of the worst Indian food I have ever known. Really dreadful.

Certainly was curry in a hurry it was Saturday night and we were expecting a long wait and was told nearly an hour, the meal came in half an hour which could be “curry in rush” but we couldn’t have been more wrong the food was hot a tasty and we enjoyed it . We will definitely order again, it brightened up our lockdown
