Pepes in Bassetlaw

Pepes used to be the best pizza around a few years ago, my family used to come over from sheffield and doncaster because they wanted to order a pepes! last couple of years it has gone down hill. The last few times i have had American hot pizza its not even spicy anymore, used to have a chilli sauce base but not anymore. The two pizzas we had tonight didn't even have a tomato base ! Chip spice not on chips, tried to order a new meal deal off brand new menu and was told they don't do it anymore! Very bland pizzas, stingy on toppings, over priced for what they are now, don't think i will ever order from here again. May as well order a cheaper pizza from somewhere else. Such a shame they used to be the best.

Order was very late, when it arrived, items were missing and what was there was cold, disappointing because we spent quite a bit of money and the food that arrived was actually tastey

Like everyone else we have always ordered pizzas from Pepes because of the guarantee oof receiving quality food & standards, every time!!Unfortunately the new owners thought it was a good idea to bring in those fast new pizza ovens, WRONG!!! why would you?! Plus change the quality of ingredients. Definitely won’t be ordering ever again!

We’ve been going to pepes for the last 20 years and have always enjoyed it. I don’t know whether there’s a new manager or owner but the standard of food isn’t the same nor are the toppings and ingredients of the pizzas. If something isn’t broken don’t try and fix it or you will lose a lot of the regular, long standing customers.

Shocking service said would be up to one hour delivery 2 hours later still not arrived rang twice and said was on way Finally arrived 2 hours 15min later And was cold so had to microwave Never again

Have had Pepe’s special pizza for years, once every 4/6 weeks or so. Had one Tonight & oooh dear!! What’s changed?? Nothing like the old recipe Base was dry & very doughy, cheese seems different sauce is meagre as well as the Toppings!!! Come on Pepes your better than this!! I’m sorry but won’t be back if this is what to expect.

The cheese sauce on the chips is what keeps bringing me back to pepes. Pizza tonight was not great. End bits of jalapeños on my pizza which I personally wouldn’t have used or classed as edible. Mushrooms uncooked!

Absolutely hooked on the chicken grills! So lush and worth every penny. Pizzas are nice too. Food always delivered fresh and hot.

Ordered a delivery of the Chicken Grill with chilli sauce, I was expecting something average at best but was pleasantly surprised. It was of good qaulity and very tasty the delivery time was also very good. Have never ordered from here before but would definitely order again.

We always buy the same things from here because they are just so great. The chicken burger and grill are just so delicious and the pizza and fantastic too. Usually very quick delivery and an easy order process if over the phone.

Absolutely hands down best pizza in Worksop. They cook the pizzas differently by melting the cheese in a different way. Good quality menu and toppings. The coleslaw is amazing. They won't give me the recipe!

Chicken grill is the best thing on the menu followed by garlic bread and tomato, one of the best takeaways in town!

By far best place in Worksop for pizza uses good quality ingredients. Delivery always on time cannot fault it.

Managed to remember to take photos before everyone devoured the feast, tried the chicken wings for the first time ever, how the eck have I not tried these before!! Oh yeah & the coleslaw is homemade , & it tastes homemade as well, fabulous.

Been having my favourite pizza from here for years, pollo. It's always consistent & very tasty. Now have the thin crust instead of deep pan but it's always great. So if you love chicken , onions & mushrooms & of course lots of gooey cheese...

Excellent family run business. Superb pizzas, always tasty, recommend the special or spicy beefeater. If you fancy chicken, the chicken grill or kebab are fantastic.

I've had pizza from every established pizza shop in the area and this place is without doubt the best and most consistent for high quality pizza. The only true fault is when the owner goes away they close shop and I have to go elsewhere!
