Got pepes delivered to the hotel we were staying at after a long day neither me or my partner wanted to go out for a meal. Delivery was fine after the place gave our driver the wrong order the products were not up to standard at alI. ordered the chicken burger for £5 thoroughly disappointed fake chicken, lettuce was half dead. no sauce at all. McDonalds serves better food for cheaper! the burger its self was smaller than my hand. Corn on the cob was tasteless, got plain but even then I was expecting it to have salted butter on it or something. Chips were chewy?! taste like they have been left out for a few days very cardboard like. partner got the lamb burger says that it tastes like it had been frozen and his lettuce was also withering. not happy at all considering the price paid.

My experience was nothing less than fantastic. Pepe Peri Peri chips were fabulous. No one can beat the quality and standard of it. Keep up the good work. Will be back soon.

Stopped in with a couple of friends after a morning's walking. It was after 'normal' lunch time and we weren't sure what, if anything, would be on offer. (We just wanted a light-ish snack.) We were pleasantly surprised by the flexible offer of a range of sandwiches, snacks and smaller portions. Each of the three of us opted for a half-portion of fish and chips. Tasty, well-cooked food served fresh and hot. The dining and bar area are spacious, well-decorated and comfortable. Welcome and service were notably friendly and efficient. I was also given an opportunity to view the Indian Restaurant (?Nanja) which is part of the Kirkhouse Inn. This is a delightfully styled space and I would really like to try it. So, overall, a really good lunch experience where the food, the drink, the staff and the environment worked perfectly in harmony. A place to be re-visited!

Two hour solo visit , Cajun spiced fries , perfectly cooked Brie chestnut mushroom and smoked ham pizza Really good , very pleasant Bonnie young lady ( Heather ) serving behind the bar and running to tables. Very interactive with everyone , and clearly enjoys service , Scotland needs more like her in the hotel sector. , Well done.

Went in to get a coffee . This is the first and last timebi will go here. Stood at the counter waiting to be served. 2 members of staff stood over in the seating area chatting. They looked over to see me waiting and carried on chatting and laughing. After 5 minutes I decided to leave. I go to Costa daily and never experienced this before . Customer service clearly doesn't exist here.
