Pepe's Piri piri in Burnley

Well we pre orders at pepes for quarter to 9 at 5pm the guy rung us up asking if we can be delivered for halfpast 8 it is now actually 10 past 9 and we are still waiting what an absolute joke

Absolutely Delicious Food. The flavour and taste is phenomenal. Pepes is the best in town. For the people who give bad reviews, no matter how bad your experience is you still come back. Even that statement alone speaks for itself.

Nearly 2 hr for a drink what a joke. We got our food and noticed one of the drink from the two meal we ordered had not arrived rang multiple times for them to finally answer the phone and got told they world speak to the drive and send him with another 30 min went by no drink still rang again and spoke to a rude Chinese woman who told us it was 10 to 15 minutes away so we wait 20 min and still no drink we rang again and got told they was sending it out by the same woman where she got told they had ten minutes and we was collecting it. We ended up collecting the drink. This is a joke for custom service.

We waiting over 2 hours and still no food. 3 and half hours later when we was all asleep in bed they tried to deliver the food. We spoke to head office and managed to get a refund after the restaurant refused to give us one as they said it was 'with the driver'. When we told them it would be cold they insisted we wait longer this was at 2 hours waiting. Staff were very rude and the lady on the phone didn't even know our order existed, she had to shout to people in the background. Avoid at all costs.

Came back from work, ordered 1hr in advance at 55min rang them some guy said the order is on its way waited a further 20min still nothing rang back again and they said there was some misunderstanding and my order was not even made as they forgot to add it on list or something spoke to the manager who was sooo rude kept saying "do u want ur food or argue" i tried explaining that you should have the decency to apologise and offer customer some compensation for your mistake. She said i cant offer you any compensation do u want ur food or not. Someone came and delivered my food after 35min and forgot to give my sauce and the chips and drink called the restaurant same manager spoke so rudely and i said to them this is disgusting they cut the phone on me and just did not answer for the next 20min the same driver came bak after 20min to gv me the rest of my order. Talk about having a crap day and meal food nice but staff is absolutely disgusting they have no care for customers at all. Never ordering from here again Its not worth the disrespect you get from the staff

Never eating there again….size of quarter chicken make me laugh and I am sure it would make everyone else laugh too. When i complained the answer was … This is the size we offer… and when I said I shall leave a review keep the chicken I do not want it They try to add wings to compensate for the chicken and refused Never eating from Burnley branch ever and this review will be published to all media

i placed an order for 3 burgers at 11.45am on uber eats and it didnt come till 1.05pm. it doesnt take over an hour to make 3 small burgers, am very disappointed with their service.

The lady serving was very rude and didn’t have any customer service and took a long time to get served food was rushed and not to full standard

This place is an Absolute joke i mean iv eaten it the chin at Various locations an they all seem ok but not this one i don’t if they given up or just trying fob us off! Nothing taste as the same as the likes off other chains! Don’t bother that all i can say!

Driver has took £20 more than he should’ve and the issue wasn’t able to be resolved, very very poor customer service the manager is awful I genuinely don’t understand how she’s employed or how they’re still running considering their reviews which I’ve only just looked into after this incident.. food was preordered for 8:50pm and was 30 minutes late, was a very stressful situation when trying to check if the food was all there before receiving which resulted in the incorrect amount, he was given the correct change and still decided to take the extra £20. When we rang up to discuss what had happened they were very rude, in denial and very unprofessional, not to mention useless as they continued to put the phone down whilst trying to sort things out. Stealing from a young family is very poor!

awful service, gave the whole order wrong and wid even admit even tho the receipt in the erong was clearly a diff number. Even though it was they fault, ud expect a full new order but No they left the old chips so half hot food half cold. Very disappointed. Kids had finished drinks before main food arrived as took soooooo long.

I’ll give you 1 woof for the half decent looking shop. Other than that, this is a poor excuse of a Piri piri shop. Dried chicken, over priced and a terrible delivery service. No thanks Pepe Le Pew, stick to the looney tunes skunk. 0 woofs

I ordered food, waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes, I rang them up and they said I didn’t make an order... absolute joke! Tried ringing back and they aren’t answering! Would advise to avoid!

Having been a Pepe’s customer for some time, I made an order at the Burnley branch in Lancashire. The phone was passed from one employee to another until the manager named Sas answered. In between putting the phone down whilst serving other customers and talking to other employees, he eventually managed to take my order. The order arrived - completely wrong. I phoned and spoke to Sas to complain. At first he said he would send out the correct order but then shortly called back and stated he had no driver so I should call back another time. I called back the day after and he agreed to send out the right order. He requested I pay the driver extra money for delivery which I wasn’t happy with as I had already paid extra the day before. I eventually agreed after Sas stated he would put an extra item in the order for me. The order arrived, cold and incorrect again. Here was also no extra food item as promised. I phoned the manager Sas and complained again. He stated he would ‘sort me out next time’. When I informed him I didn’t wish to wait another time, he refused to send the correct order and when I informed I would be taking the case further to complain, his words were ‘that’s fine’ and hung up on me. This branch seems to have gone from bad to worse. The orders are repeatedly wrong and the food cold with small portions and higher than expected prices. Will look to order food from elsewhere from now on.

Please don't ever order from this place, you will die of old age before your order arrives. Customer service non existent, they could not care less if they tried. Absolute joke!!! And the food is average at best....you can fool me once.....

DO NOT ORDER!!!! The worst customer service ever, manager doesn’t have a clue to what he’s doing! No customer training ! Food arrived 2 hours late and after all that they had the audacity to say they’ve been busy ! Food arrived stone cold. It just got worse by the minute.

Really disappointed with Pepes- ordered a family takeaway of burgers, burrito meals and wings. Lacking in flavour, portion size way too small -(thought I’d been given a kids meal in error) and overpriced. Wouldn’t mind if it tasted good .... but it didn’t. Won’t recommend and won’t be returning.

Order over 2 hours late and still wrong with missing wraps. Never again. No manners. No apologies. Never ever again. The food is mediocre after all that wait.

No one gives a toss about hygiene. Saw staff scratching, picking nose and not washing hands when they've just walked in. Every Tom Dick and Harry was in that kitchen.

The communication and the people behind the counter have absolute disgusting communication. An order was placed online and they changed the timing, the person I spoke to on the phone guaranteed my order would be before the fast closes but I had to ring 15...

Lockdown treat I have eaten here before if you like chicken. This is the place I ordered full chicken platter n I recommended my friend. He enjoyed it n will be ordering again I love this place best chicken shop in Burnley.
